Not just a cheap place to stay if you’re visiting Siem Reap, but also an incredible place to volunteer!!! I have nothing to say but good things about staying here and volunteering. You immediately become part of a family and get to make an impact in this community. Even if you don’t have teaching experience everyone is so helpful and supportive. Das Hostel ist eng mit der angrenzenden Schule verbunden und bietet eine besondere Möglichkeit die Menschen und das Land kennenzulernen! Das Hostel bietet alles, was man benötigt! Die Zimmer sind sauber, es gibt einen Gemeinschaftsbereich und man lebt umgeben von den Locals! Wer die Chance hat hier zu Leben, ein Volunteering an der Schule machen möchte und Kambodscha anders verstehen möchte, der sollte diese Chance nutzen!

Great hostel next to the New Dream of Cambodian Children Organization school. Plenty of opportunities to meet with other guests, teachers and volunteers at the school such as family dinner. The hostel is outside of the town but the hostel provides a taxi service with great prices if you are unable to rent a scooter I highly recommend staying here and volunteering at the school during your stay!

This hostel and school were the most wholesome week. The hostel is perfect for stay especially when volunteering at the school next door. The school is such an incredible place to visit and volunteer, ran by the most amazing people. Everyone I met was just the kindest and most helpful. Highly recommend staying here and volunteering as they help the most wonderful children. I will cherish my week’s volunteering here and recommend anyone else to stay and help!

The best place I have ever stayed in my 2 years of travels. I had 0 experience in teaching children, do not consider myself to be the smartest, but the way the school is structured is perfect for people with no experience. This place is such a vibe. Everyone is so friendly and accomodating and being able to see and feel the meaningful volunteer work being done at the school was a highlight during my visit to Cambodia. This hostel is great value for money and all the additional experiences that came from being there made the overall experience exceed my expectations. Will definitely be going back :)

The Drop Inn is such a lovely environment. You’ll stay with like minded people and spend time educating the most wonderful children. The rooms are clean and comfy, and they also come with air conditioning. The dorms have privacy curtains, individual lights, and power sockets. The shared bathrooms are well maintained. :)

Such a cool place. Everyone there is so friendly and accommodating. I helped out at the school for a short time but it’s incredible to see what they’re doing for the local community over there. Definitely an experience I’d recommend even if you can’t commit to a couple months. Really changes your perspective. Kim, the guy who runs the hostel is a legend .

Amazing hostel. Located right next to the New Dream of Cambodian Children school that teaches children valuable life skills. The children are awesome and very kind. I can’t wait to return again. This was my favorite place during my trip to Asia.

Volunteering with the NDCCO was an amazing experience. The organization is run by local Khmer staff and travelers can come volunteer their time and effort to teach English classes to over 200 kids. The kids attending the school are very attentive, curious, and heartwarming. I very much recommend volunteering with NDCCO and learn from the children as well as teach them.

Ik ben zo blij dat ik ervoor gekozen heb om hier te verblijven tijdens m’n reis. Al het personeel zijn zo’n warme mensen met het hart op de juiste plek, zowel Kim en zijn familie, Hien, de leerkrachten, en al het andere personeel die er rondloopt, waardoor je je super welkom voelt!! Ook de kinderen zijn zo’n lieverdjes. Door hier te verblijven, eten en drinken te kopen, tours bij hun te boeken en te helpen in de klas kan je al een super grote impact maken, dus geef het een kans zou ik zegg...
