YHA Snowdon Llanberis

+ Not much!

- Very small room with no facilities nowhere to put your clothes no room to move about. Beds was very uncomfortable. Bunk beds for two old age pensioners was unacceptable. Very noisy neighbours keeping us awake at night. Breakfast was cold and overcooked! Altogether, a nightmare stay will not be staying there ever again or recommending the place to anyone else.

+ Staff were friendly, car parked for free the whole day after check out, nice location.

- £150 for 2 Adult and 2 kids during Aug school holidays. Check-in at 5:00pm and Check-out at 10:00am. Mould in shower rom and no toiletries, towel(I understand its a Youth hostel, there are good and cheaper option nearby with all these facilities for a few quid more) No Wi-Fi Breakfast definitely not worth £10/person, over cooked sausages and rotten fruits and very tiny portion of beans.

- Paid 80 for a wooden shed with a mattress on the floor that's how it felt

+ Location was ideal for traveling around the area

- Grass height was up to knees, probably last time was cut month ago and first time in my life I had to wash dishes after breakfast in there's restaurant myself. Restaurant chairs was green many years ago I think, cause now they are black and filfy. I paid for breakfast for all days I stayed, but after first day,didn't come back.

+ The staff were all very kind. Checking in and out was easy. Good amount of parking available. Nice lounge area available with some board games to play.

- Fire alarm went off at 3am. Spiders and webs all over the room. The main entrance is quite uneven so lower cars can scrape. Poor value for money on Saturdays.

- The hot water for a shower was freezing and it was dirty Even basic places need cleanliness It was overall pretty un clean And the £10 breakfast was luke warm

- We were above the common area and it was very loud until after midnight.

+ The receptionist was very helpful and friendly

- There were massive cobwebs and several large spiders in the room which caused my children to have meltdowns and arguments because they didn't want to sleep on the top bunks close to the spiders

+ Great location for the Snowdonia national park

- Great location and good facilities for walking in the surrounding countryside

- Pod wasn't warm.

+ Drying room, pod with bedding and heating, fully equipped kitchen, location - great views, lovely staff

- Nothing really but a couple of shelves in a pod could be handy

+ Great staff - friendly and helpful. Great location and the breakfast was great. Nice warm room and hot showers with plenty of water.

- Limited evening meal option- bt it was a Sunday night at the end of October!

+ All exceeded my expectations - location is good, nice view, very calm place. The pod - clean and warm. The bathroom clean, hot water after the walking day more than need. The team friendly and professional - explain and helped with all questions. The chefs amazing - nice filling English breakfast.

+ The room was small but very cozy and perfectly clean. The hotel was wonderfully warm, which I really appreciated since I was traveling with a child. The views from the hotel were absolutely breathtaking — they truly take your breath away. The location was excellent as well — everything you might need is just a short walk away.

+ Jade was really welcoming and happy to answer questions that she has probably been asked a thousand times, but it didn't feel like that. Hostel was really clean and I loved the quirkiness of the place.

- Nothing. I haven't stayed in a hostel for a lot of years, but I will certainly do so again in the near future.

+ I really liked the clean setup, smooth experience, and how convenient everything was — it made the stay feel effortless.

+ Everything great, we had noisy male guests smoking weed on our corridor and shared toilets - One man turned up in our room at 2.40am - think he had got confused - he was probably more horrified than us! We should have locked door but it's a noisy door and lock with 4 menopausal women going to the loo frequently in the night! We did find it funny - we'll get our own bathroom next time
