The Yard Hostel Chiang Mai

There were mosquitos. You can’t sleep at night because the doors are heavy and when people come in and out they have to slam it. The breakfast was okay. It’s good for young solo travelers from ages 18-24. They also didn’t give me a full refund when I asked them for one.

overpriced. Faclities are rough. Very different from onsite visiting the garden and hallway etc. Only liked the toilets and showers. Twice the price for local hostels.

Safe hostel but staff are a bit rude. Just wouldn’t stay here again, place was clean ish but overall 3/10.

Facilities were amazing but the atmosphere is WEIRD. Serious cliques going on.

Very nice hostel, great position, good vibe. The dorms are not so nice (like prefabricated shed), I was able to hear someone snoring in the next room. The breakfast is good but very light, I used to go to yoga after and always need a second breakfast. But was full of fruit and you can ask a refill.

The hostel was very nice and peaceful, tho I wish the guests would have more rules to follow.

The staff here are so helpful, this place is super clean (we saw the bathrooms being cleaned every day) and the breakfast is so good. Really social but in a nice chill way, no partying here but the outside area makes it easy to meet people. They are really helpful with providing tours and booking buses etc.

It was alright. Very social hostel. The facilities are nice but cramped. The breakfast is a bit precarious - definitely not enough to hold you up until lunch (the fruit is appreciated). Facilities are modern and work well. The yard is very pretty. Overall, a solid hostel - although, if you're not into the super social vibe (mine you, it's mostly American / European 20 year olds here), maybe a bit overpriced.

Excellent stay in one of The Yard's private rooms. Very friendly staff and good breakfast. Quiet at night (not the hostel for party people), It's a super social place for likeminded people. Location is perfect in the centre of Chiang Mai.

Wunderschönes, gemütliches Hostel mit tollen Mitarbeiter:innen Ich hab mich dort sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt und ich fand es auch eher sozial. Die Zimmer waren vielleicht etwas eng und auch die Fächer für das Gepäck sind nicht einfach zu bedienen, aber es reicht voll aus :) Das Frühstück ist etwas sehr schlicht. Es gibt zwar Obst, aber die Portionen sind vorgefertigt und relativ klein gehalten.

자는곳이 컨테이너라 놀랐어요. 사용하는데 불편함은 없어요. 샤워실 화장실이 많고 편리하게되있어요. 숙박하는 사람들의 99퍼가 서양인들이라 조금 외로웠어요ㅎㅎ

Honestamente de los mejores hostales en los que me he quedado, todos son serviciales y amables . Las habitaciones están excelentes , me quede en cama compartida y después privada y la verdad ambas son comodas . El ambiente es tranquilo, me encantaba despertar y tomar mi desayuno escuchando a los gallos y aves, un lugar para relajarse. Good place, good room, good bed, good people, just amazing time. Un vrai oasis en plein centre de la vieille ville. C'est un lieu calme et bienveillant, qui nous pousse à nous rencontrer les uns et les autres. Je ne peux que recommander.

Superfijn hostel! Aangename relaxte vibe! Personeel is zo vriendelijk!! Fijne tuin waar je kan socializen bij een lekker ontbijtje en in de avond. Douche hier is echt top! Aanrader!

L'ostello è molto carino e ben organizzato, il giardino comune è molto suggestivo e gradevole, ideale per conoscere persone. L'ambiente molto giovanile e bello da vivere. La nostra camera era molto spaziosa, tutta in legno e molto accogliente, il letto grande e comodo, il bagno nuovo e confortevole. La colazione non era male ma un pò troppo spartana. La posizione ideale per girare il centro storico di Chiang Mai comodamente a piedi.

MIGLIOR OSTELLO IN THAILANDIA! Ragazzi, lo Yard è una garanzia. L'ostello è bellissimo, pulito, spazioso, ha un bellissimo giardino e la colazione è un sogno! Lo staff è incredibile, sono gentilissimi e mi hanno aiutato anche in un momento in cui ho avuto un problema con la mia banca in italia. Davvero complimenti, mi hanno fatta sentire a casa! È un ostello molto socievole, facilissimo fare amicizia e sempre con le persone giuste. Inoltre organizzano molte attività, quindi non puoi annoia...

Lugar muy especial en el centro de Chiang Mai, camas cómodas, baños y duchas grandes, buen desayuno, personal muy amable y colaborador. Espacio de relax y bar con música. Tienen la opción de prepararte el desayuno para llevar si tienes que salir temprano de excursión, también tienen clases de yoga gratis y excursiones que planifican ellos mismos por un precio razonable, recomendado! Lo único que igual podría mejorarse es la limpieza, sobre todo en el área de duchas y baños.

Als je nog een goed hostel zoekt in Chiang Mai moet je echt hier zijn! Het is net nieuw, dus alle faciliteiten zijn nog mooi schoon en netjes. De locatie is echt top! Beter kan niet. De eigenaressen zijn ook echt super lief! Elke ochtend maken ze een lekker ontbijtje voor je klaar. In de avond kan je lekker buiten zitten met gezelligheid.

Eu estive no The Yard no periodo de Novembro. Fui para o Festival das Lanternas em Chiang Mai. Minha experiência foi simplesmente perfeita. Eu amei meus dias no The Yard. Acomodações limpas e confortaveis. O staff de lá te da as melhores dicas sobre Chiang Mai e sempre muito educados e sorridentes. Você vai se sentir parte de uma família. Eu com certeza quero voltar a Chiang Mai e quero ficar no The Yard outra vez.

Die Mitarbeiterinnen waren super freundlich. Es werden einem auch Frühstücksboxen mitgegeben, wenn man vor der Frühstückszeit schon das Hostel verlassen muss. Alles war sauber, die Atmosphäre war toll und entspannt. Würde es jedem empfehlen!!

C’est le meilleur hôtel de Chiang mai genre.. vraimeeeeennt ! Ils ont un autre the yard à Bangkok et c’était incroyable, c’est tellement convivial, c’est une famille, le staff est si gentil, très à l’écoute, les chambres sont super propres tout est neuf c’est super proche du centre on peut tout faire à pieds ! Quel bonheur d'avoir séjourné dans ce havre de verdure au beau milieu de la vielle ville. Nous nous sommes sentis super bien en famille. Le personnel est génial, chaleureux, accueillant, attentionné. Le petit déjeuner très bon et sain. Les lits confortables et la décoration est 5 étoiles dixit notre fils. L'ambiance y est détendu.
