Surf Hostel Morocco

Good place to stay if you just want to surf! It’s not so clean or secure though

Not terrible but there are many hidden charges, for example on website it says FREE BREAKFAST. Instead they charged me €3 per breakfast. Also I was told I would get a free ride from the airport...no they wanted money for that too and the owner purposely does not tell you until you leave, not the best business model. All in all not really worth the price

Familiäre Atmosphäre. Super Surf Hot Spots mit gemütlichem Lunch Break. Großartiges Team! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt 🔆🏄‍♀️🧘‍♀️❤️

If you are looking for a hostel right beside the beach this hostel is only a 5 minute walk away. (that's holding a surfboard in hand) so possibly shorter without. Great host, who can help organise surfing equipment, taxi to the airport and printing off your boarding pass. If you are coming to Morocco to chill on the beach/surf this is a good spot.

Lovely location, strong family vibes from the other travelers and staff. Abdul is such a nice hostel manager and Ivan taught me how to catch my first waves. Make sure to check out the 12 little kittens while they are still small!

Great surf hostel with a very helpful and nice staff. We’ve met many interesting people that were staying at the hostel. It is a great place to meet people to go surfing with! The stay offered good breakfast/diner and surf lessons plus rentals. I would highly recommend this place for a surf trip in Morocco.

Staff and owner were amazing. Food is typical moroccan and delicious. Ambiance was top.

I loved the communal diners in the evenings. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere and a great place to visit.

Solid hostel, good rooms & rooftop. Personally feel Dinner on an evening is pricey.

This hostel we really one of the best ones I’ve been at. Everyone was really warm and welcoming. There was a nice vibe in the hostel with the other guests. We did allot of activities together and I would recommend this hostel for smaller groups or solo travelers.

everything is amazing: food, people, spontaneous surf lessons etc etc. it’s a really good place to meet other travelers, but at the same time it’s very peaceful. it felt like home staying there, definitely our favorite hostel in morocco. showers and bathrooms were super clean and nice, and it’s close to the beach and like an hour walk to taghazout. we loved it here and didn’t want to leave, as did everyone we met there 🫶

Had a great stay here - met heaps of people and extended my stay for my whole week in Morocco. By the end of the trip there was a family vibe with everyone in hostel. Was sad to say goodbye to them. Perfect environment to meet people. They obviously work very hard to maintain such a good space !! So much respect for the team! Cheers - Ben

I had an excellent stay at Surf Hostel Morocco. The breakfast and dinner were genuinely impressive — fresh, delicious, and prepared with real care. Every meal felt homemade and full of flavor, which made the experience even better.The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. They always checked in, assisted with anything I needed, and created a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Their hospitality truly makes this place stand out.Highly recommended.

Dès mon arrivée, j’ai été accueilli comme à la maison. L’ambiance est chaleureuse, le personnel est d’une gentillesse incroyable et toujours prêt à aider. Les cours de surf étaient excellents, les profs passionnés et patients, et les repas… juste délicieux ! 🥘 J’y ai rencontré des personnes formidables et j’ai vraiment eu l’impression de trouver une deuxième maison ici. Grossartiges Hostel mit unglaublich coolen Leuten! Ich war drei Nächte dort und war zwei Tagen Surfen (45€ pro Tag, inkl. Lunch, Ausrüstung, Transport, Instruktoren, etc.). Es wae genial und ich würde sofort wiederkommen (hatte leider nicht mehr Zeit). Vielen Dank!

We had a wonderful week in that hostel. We came as a family. Cosy house in typical Moroccan style. Very clean. Simple but great rooftop terrace and several places to chill and chat. Surf classes were great and we could really see the progress day by day. Great instructors team. The whole place felt like a home away from home with a family feeling. Delicious (!) Moroccan dinners. The beach is really close, less than 10 minutes walk.

Excellent staff. And a great hostel But I was there for 5 days, and didn’t have hot water once. I mentioned it to the guy and he just said it’ll be fixed later that day… never got fixed. Other than that, I can see why it’s so highly rated.

Great atmosphere felt like living with a lil family best hostel experience I’ve had thus far. Great food and we felt taken care of.

I really enjoyed my stay at Sur Hostel Morocco. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Due to this the hostel attracts plenty of interesting and friendly travelers that creates a good vibe for everyone. Surf hire was super to sort out along with emailing ahead for an airport transfer. To finish I was unfortunately to pick up an injury while out surfing towards the end of my trip. The team were extremely accommodating to help me Rest as best I could and offer assistance whenever needed.

Best hostel in town. Would be nice if the breakfast had eggs

Stayed here for 3 days with my girlfriend. Super friendly staff, very helpfull, there was an issue with our room and they hooked us up pretty good. Really good place for surfing and they also offer yoga sessions which are a lot of fun!

Everything great, staff were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast every morning was outstanding and the bathrooms/showers were beautiful, have obviously been redone recently. Lovely for a warm post surf shower

We loved it here. A beautiful building, very comfortable room, great breakfast, very lovely people staying and working there. Good social atmosphere and surf lessons offered. We would 100% stay here again and recommend. It was a nice walk into tagazhout which as a couple we felt very safe to do late at night.

Wonderful place in a calm and relaxing town! I would definitely book again!
