Timbuktu Hostel

Ancora non ho dimenticato questo posto. Sarebbe stupendo ma si vive nell'anarchia. Durante la pandemia, i proprietari e chi ci lavorava non indossava la mascherina e se ne vantavano. Rispetto per le regole: zero. Avrei segnalato al comune ma mi è stato detto che il nipote è il proprietario del sindaco (forse non quello attuale ma durante la pandemia). Molto sgradevole.

I booked two nights at this hostel based on the Airbnb photos, which showed beds with privacy and space. What I got was not even pictured: I was placed in a 7-bed room, and given the 7th bed, which had clearly been added later. Nulla da dire di buono accoglienza fredda all inglese . Camera in condivisione stipati come le bestie 16mq in 7 persone . Appena ho visto dove avrei dovuto dormire me ne sono andata . Morale della favola nessun rimborso da parte di booking e nessuna giustificazione da parte della persona che si trovava alla reception di nazionalità inglese o giù di lì niente a che fare con l accoglienza che di solito si trova in Sicilia . la camera non corrispondeva alle foto pubblicate nel sito . I would love to give a better rating and more stars, however my roommate and I, independently, discovered bed bugs in our room, so I cannot recommend this hostel at this time. The staff have been informed and I hope they are taking all necessary precautions to get this under control. Other than that, the hostel was a nice experience. It's a nice place well decorated but I think it does not worth the money that you spent. It's over priced. Rooms are too small for 6 people. The bathroom is inside the room so when someone goes you can hear and smell everything. The staff is ok. If you want a towel you need to pay 3 euro for an unsoft towel with marks on it. If you want to use the washing machine it's 8 euro I think. I did not appreciate much my stay there. But the gave free water and there is a ice machine and nice music.

The building was great the staff where rude and unfriendly. Choose what is important to you.

Personale molto gentile

This feels more like a home than a hostel in the very best way. The location was a bit far from the center (10-15 min walking each way which gets tiring many times a day) The only thing about the hostel I did not like was that my last day the older woman (I think the owner) started cleaning the dorm at 9 am while I was trying to sleep. Otherwise super nice staff, especially Sonja who was so lovely to me. She is one of a kind and you could see she really cared about the guests

Bellissimo ostello a San Vito Lo Capo, ottimo il prezzo, per chi vuole trascorrere un soggiorno al mare e spendere poco, Come ogni ostello, gli spazi si condividono, la cucina, il bagno, Ogni sera, un evento per socializzare tra gli ospiti Posizione, semi centrale, ancora circa 1 km per la zona centrale e 1,5 per le spiagge e i lidi

This is a hostel done right. Plugs, curtains, hooks: easy stuff so many others miss. Probably the best kitchen I've seen in all my years of travel. If I had a complaint, it would be the small lockers, but they are suitable.

Bellissimo ostello tenuto benissimo, in ottima posizione, con il plus di avere un servizio per climbers.

Sono stata al Timbuktu durante un ritiro di yoga. Marco e tutto il team sono super accoglienti e si respira proprio un bel senso di community. L’atmosfera è rilassata e autentica, c’è un giardino interno davvero speciale. Camerata con letti a castello top, tendina per la privacy e bagno in camera

È il secondo anno consecutivo che torno in questo luogo magico, dove sei accolta, coccolata. Il servizio è gestito con grande professionalità e ottime capacità. Per un viaggio a San Vito è l’alloggio ideale. Bravi!!!

Come sentirsi a casa appena varchi solo il cancello, ho amato i colori che non mancano al Timbuktu ☀️, l’ospitalità, l’accoglienza e la pulizia 🙏. I letti sono spaziali!

Sto rientrando ora da un ritiro di @ameriga-spirit che non poteva scegliere di meglio per dove farci alloggiare. Mi sono sentita coccolata dall inizio alla fine, il team è creato da persone interessanti, di cuore, un po’ folli che sanno seguire il flow e l energia dei suoi clienti. Mi sono sentita veramente a casa. Grazie a tutti i ragazzi che hanno creato questa magia❤️vi aspetto in Trentino 😎

Un luogo speciale, dove tornare sicuramente. Ostello vivace e con un anima creativa. Ottima posizione e ottima la pulizia delle camere. Ma la differenza la fa il proprietario Marco e tutto lo staff, simpaticissimi e super disponibili!

Lungo una delle strade principali di San Vito un posto meraviglioso grazie al lavoro e alla gentilezza di Marco e dei suoi amici e collaboratori. Ogni angolo è curato in modo da essere accogliente e piacevole. Cortile verde in cui rilassarsi in mezzo agli alberi di limone, dappertutto murales e arredamenti di artisti vari, terrazza panoramica e camere pulite con bagni nuovi. Bella colazione. Tornerò presto e Grazie di tutto

Very lovely and peaceful hostel, friendly people are all around to help you but also for nice conversations . well equipped kitchen and comfortable rooms and rest areas inside in. It is also close to crags if you are a climber and always easy to find climber friends as well. Thank you for everything !

Una meraviglia per l’anima

Un posto bellissimo, ci sono gli alberi di arance e limoni in giardino quindi si può cominciare la giornata con una buonissima spremuta. Personale flessibile e gentilissimo. E ottima musica di sottofondo!

The hostel has a homey- vibe, plenty of places to chill and also to work if you would need to do some work while traveling. The kitchen is clean, has a lot of utensils and the staff make sure that the refrigerator is at the top best at all time (throw old food that guest have forgotten to remove before they left and they keep the refrigerator clean on a daily basis).
