Utterly disgusting, booked because it was cheap and you get what you pay for. Floor in the room hadn't seen a hoover for quite some time, pillow and mattress stained. One of the bathrooms on my wing wasn't cleaned for at least 24 hours as there was stuff on the floor that wasn't picked up. Kitchen not much better either. If you're thinking of staying here because it's cheap, don't.
Das einzig gute an diesem Hostel war die Lage. Schon beim betreten haben wir uns unsicher gefühlt. Dieses Gefühl bestätigte sich nach dem Betreten des Zimmers. Weder Betten noch Badezimmer waren sauber (2 Toiletten für eine ganze Etage, ist einfach unzumutbar) Haben noch in der selben Nacht wieder ausgescheckt und werden definitiv nicht wieder kommen !
The only good thing about this hostel was the location. we felt insecure when we entered. this feeling was confirmed after entering the room. neither the beds nor the bathroom were clean (2 toilets for an entire floor, is simply unacceptable) have checked out the same night and definitely will not come back !
This was the first time for me that I did not feel save in a hostel. It was mostly because of the atmosphere in the hostel. On the other hand the staff was very friendly. But unfortunately after the first night I changed to another hostel, because of the bad atmosphere. I would not recommend this hostel if a save feeling is important to you.
UNACCEPTABLE!!! without getting to know anything I got charged 250$. When I asked the reception they told it's their policy to charge if the fire alarm goes on. I was frying something for dinner, I did accidentally make a bit of steam and the alarm went on. after asking explanation they just ask me sorry for charging me without telling but anyway they just justify themselves saying that this is part of their policy. TOTALLY RIDICULOUS!!!

The experience was very poor, the room is small, checking out a little later will charge extra, the key is that the extra charge is not indicated, directly charge20 knives! robbery!
Pro Tip: Look elsewhere Very dirty feeling, the carpets smell and the entire place is just gross. The staff, one especially, was rude throughout our stay. There were nauseating fumes that multiple people complained about. The second floor bathrooms (shower-toilet combos) were shut throughout our stay and by the end only half were open. This caused long lines, so staff said to use the bathrooms two long stairwells down, which also had lines. It was very inconvenient and with no apologies.
The floor of the room was disgusting and definitely hadn’t seen a vacuum in a long time also the room smelt awful. There was no where near enough bathrooms and they were filthy. The hostel has a bird infestation that they’re trying to play off as a “we love the birds” “we love the environment” type of thing. However the location was good and the staff were friendly at check in. But definitely wouldn’t stay again.
Activley avoid this place. Very dirty, unpleasant smells from room and communial areas. Staff especially the manager Pauline have very poor customer service. Would strong advise against staying here.
Das Zimmer und die Mitbewohner haben fürchterlich gestunken. Es gibt nur zwei-vier Toiletten und Duschen für jeweils circa zehn Mehrbettzimmer.
The room and the roommates stunk terribly, there are only two or four toilets and showers for about ten multifamily rooms each.
Muy ruidoso , las habitaciones dan a la cocina por lo que siempre hay olor a comida en la habitación, la gente de junta en la mesa de la cocina hasta altas horas de la noche sin respetar que hay habitaciones a pasos de donde están. Los baños muy sucios al igual que las habitaciones.
Very noisy, the rooms face the kitchen so there is always food smell in the room, people huddled around the kitchen table until late at night without respecting that there are rooms a few steps from where they are.

Was there for only 2 nights (should have stayed 4 more, cancelled those). I was very put off by the smell when I first came in. I guess it‘s what you get for the price but i would rather spend 20 dollars more a night for another place. There is a lift which is cool and for every „house“ there are separate kitchens and toilets. I do get claustrophobic so i didn‘t really feel comfortable inside the house i was in, as there are no windows and no daylight coming in.
Super Hostel, pour le parking il faut se garer à 30 min à pieds pour que ce soit gratuit mais on peut prendre le bus facilement ! L'emplacement est top !

Didn’t feel very clean at all. One dryer available as the other one was broken and the staff couldn’t give me a solution so my clothes just had to sit wet in the washing machine. Kitchen was small and not too well equipped. Even though it was cheap I would still stay somewhere else
The trek global is an absolutely social and well located hostel in Wellington. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the facilities offer a wide range of options to socialise or have some privacy
Probably one of the snappier hostels I’ve stayed at in Aotearoa. Staff were super friendly. Facilities were clean. Defo a very social vibe especially compared to other hostels.

Stayed in a private room for just 1 night so didn’t stay for that long. The room was fine and did the job though. The kitchen however did lack quite a few things for cooking
Hostel pratique et correct. Les douches sont bien conçues mais hélas combinées aux toilettes... Les espaces communs sont sympathiques et disposent de multiples activités (jeux de société, billard...), l'accès à l'extérieur est un vrai plus ! Mais les dortoirs sont vraiment exiguës, les casiers branlants et la cuisine sous dimensionnée. L'auberge est en plein centre ville donc idéal pour explorer ou vivre. En résumé une auberge agréable et sympathique, bien que moins adaptée pour ...
Hostel practical and correct. The showers are well designed but alas combined with the toilets... The common areas are friendly and have multiple activities (board games, billiards...), access to the outdoors is a real plus ! But the dormitories are really small, the cabinets sway and the kitchen is undersized. The hostel is right in the city center so ideal for exploring or living.
Decent location. Had kitchen and bathroom facilities in each wing which were handy. Sometimes I did not have a dry tea towel in our kitchen tho. One day no dish soap either. The showers were a little bit like "how do you want to die? Ice bath or boil scalding water? haha. The free pasta and sangria is was good! On the whole tho I had a great stay here
Hostel is in a great location. I stayed in the single room in the womens only retreat part and it was exactly what I needed! Perfect if you want space to yourself for a few days as it’s away at the other end of the hostel with its own outside terrace.

Not a bad stay, wasn’t there much so I didn’t use kitchen or anything but overall was good

It was a nice basic hostel. However,the whole place smelt bad and the bathrooms felt dirty even when they had supposedly been cleaned. I wouldn’t stay here again unless I had to.
