Hostel Beirut

hostel was not clean in general. toilets were very dirty. The women's room was very cramped and stuffy. There was a constant smell in the room, even though we ventilated it. the beds were creaking so much I couldn't sleep all night because of the noise. the only good thing common area was good for socializing

I'll give it a grand zero. the place was a mere nightmare in every possible way

The staff were wonderful and we liked the atmosphere, but the bathrooms were not clean. My room was very hot and stuffy, so I did not sleep well. At no fault of the hostel, the power was also off during the night. Overall, I am sorry to say that we did not have a very good experience.

I did self check in late at night, and first inconvenience is booking me upper bunker in a free room, which never happened to me before. Secondly the hostel was booked for an outside event during the whole evening i spent there, not allowing anyone to walk or use the common space. when i left in the morning there was no one to collect the money from me, and i forgot, then they were asking me to find a way to pay cash after i left the hostel. Lastly they asked me to donate to WFP which i love

I can see that under different circumstances, this could be a very nice hostel. However, their late check in policy left me having to find alternative accommodation on my first day in Beirut (stressful, with no internet) and they overcharged me for my second night according to their own invoicing. I left with a disappointment, feeling like I'd been taken advantage of.

No atmosphere in the hostel tbh. Cleanliness was average. Location is okay-ish too. No great call-outs.

The first night we arrived, the main door was open even though the reception was closed. We slept in a random room. The bunk beds had a little squeak. In addition to these, the women's room was stuffy compared to the mixed room. I think it was because of the balcony. A little more attention could be paid to the cleanliness of the toilets. It was nice to have a separate women's bathroom. There was a very nice opportunity to socialize with other people in the common area.The location was nice.

Hostel Beirut was a great chance to stay in a good place in a lovely neighborhood. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The place is quiet and clean.

Great hostel with everything you would need. The only issue is that walking to the more central parts of Beirut takes a bit of time. There is a lack of restaurants in the surrounding areas but it can be nice as the area is super quiet and peaceful :) host is also super kind!

Lovely Hostel in the middle of a very chilled residential area. The staff is amazing 🩷 very helpful and caring. If you wanna have some fun like bar hopping etc. you just have to go 5 minutes and you're in the middle of the nightlife. At the hostel you meet a lot of friendly people from all over Lebanon. I would totally recommend it. All in all a lovely community 🙏🏽

I’ve stayed at Hostel Beirut several times, it is the best hostel in Beirut! Amazing location, great vibes but lovely pets, and a super cool team! I will be staying there again next time I’m in Beirut.

Lovely hostel in Armenian neibourhood in Beirout. Close to food and supermarket. Nice roof teras to sit en enjoy after a long day.

A welconing house with vivid youth vibes all over the place, located in a quiet area yet it is safe and everything you need is just around you and yet the city center in still accessible (20 mins walk, 3$ ride). The rooms and toilets are clean and tidy all the time with signs to guide you on every situation you might face. The beds are comfortable and there are lockers to store your valuables. The staff is extremely helpful. Good value for money (one of the cheapest in the area). Recommended.

Lovely staff, making the effort to make my stay comfortable, and great location. Homely atmosphere and unique style as some of the decor is repurposed from the Beirut blast.

Very good vibes, nice hostel in a very good position tò hang out at night. The kitchen Is extremely dirty. The bathroom was also very dirty. Just One shower for women. Nice terrace Indeed. The are nice Cats around!
