Staff is rude. A guy walking in the middle of the night with flash light waking people up. Animals in the dorms and a general feeling of unfriendliness. Awful rule with not having AC on as the rooms are inhuman to be in with the heat. I would avoid this hostel at all cost.

Got money stolen from the room and despite having security cameras, the hostel stuff didn't help me at all and let the only possible person check out without even questioning him. At the end it felt very shady and almost like the hostel was more part of the crime than there to protect me. Better don't risk it.

Insgesamt okay für eine Nacht. Wir konnten unser Gepäck jedoch nicht im Hostel lassen bis unser Nachtbus kam. Ziemlich unentspannt für ein Hostel das wohl genug Platz hat einen Rucksack zu lagern.

Péssima localização e atendimento

unfortunately I didn't make to the hostel. I told them that i will arrive at 2am and they said to me that is no problem. When I arrived there, the roads near the hostel were closed, and they only said that i should stay in the centre of Delhi. There was not even one "I'm sorry". So, be careful if you arrive at night.

I have bed bugs from this hostel.

This hostel is definitely not for first timers! Honestly, by the end of the trip it grew on me. However certain factors made our stay quite stressful, one of those was location accessibility and the fact that Ubers cannot drop you off outside the hostel entrance. You have to walk about 300m from where they can drop off or pickup. Please be aware of which rooms / dorms you book, some of the main photos felt a little deceiving or maybe out of date in comparison to what we stayed in.

Location is very bad, I would not recommend anyone to stay. Staff are just okay, even in bnb staffs help in carrying luggage but not at this property but its not their fault as they said it’s a self service place. The rooms have no ventilation, its a claustrophobic place. Ac only cooling mode no heaters. Although one staff was good he provided me the room heater and I survived otherwise It would be very difficult to stay.

I found it a bit poor, no facilities or whatsoever and the location was not the best. I book an airport pick up and, as a rule they go to pick you up an hour after your supposed arrival time. Mine arrived earlier and immigration checks were very quick so I was out very early. They should, as they said they would after given the given the flight information, check arrivals often. I had to called them and get quite stressed thinking that I didn’t have a pick up service. All at midnight!!!

I first stayed here in 2017 and had such a wonderful experience that I decided to come back again — and wow, I was pleasantly surprised. The rooftop is absolutely gorgeous now, filled with plants and mist fans that make it the perfect place to relax, even in the heat. They’ve also introduced a new kitchen menu, and the food was delicious. Bom sítio para pernoitar. Sossegado e eu era a única pessoa no hostel por isso o ambiente não era o "melhor". Mas o staff foi super prestável e simpático!

We had a nice and uncomplicated stay in JHouse! Their recommandations for not being scammed helped us. It was no problem to find the hostel with the instruction they give you via mail before. Ubers only can come until ca 50m from the hostel but we felt comfortable in the streets around Jhouse so it was no problem. The roof top with all its plants is a real oasis in Delhi! Very helpful and friendly staff, they even have a weight for the luggage:) Thank you!

Bad location. Staff didn’t let me check in an hour early. Don’t buy the tour packages they sell it’s a scam.

Hostel was in a handy location if you’re happy getting rickshaws and the metro. The showers weren’t very warm all the time as there was a lot of demand but apart from that they were good.

Great hostel in south Delhi, I stayed here to transit to the airport. Good for a relax, very friendly staff and overall location is good to see things in south Delhi or needing to go to the airport.

Unfortunately we were put into a dorm which we were told would have hot water 20 minutes after flicking the switch on in the bathroom. This was only the case for one showers water. The hostel also didn’t have any heating on in the rooms so the bedsheets felt damp constantly. The WiFi was also an issue in our first room before we were moved after complaining. We were then told this room would have heating 9pm - 7am but unfortunately this wasn’t the case. Food is good, just basic requirements

A beautiful private room. Great facilities and lovely decor. A bit away from the centre but that isn’t a bad thing.

Top hostel in Delhi. We slept in the double room. The room was very spacious and clean. It was a bit chilly in the room (in December), but it was cosy and warm under the duvet. We didn't have hot water in the shower. But it could also be that we didn't operate the boiler correctly. There is a very nice roof terrace, which is perfect for resting and relaxing.

Clean, quiet and not in the backpacked slum with all the other hostels. Great rooftop vibes and nice cafe

A little haven in Delhi with a lovely rooftop and calm atmosphere. Felt v safe there as solo female traveller. Good proximity to Deer Park and Hauz Khas. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good stopover!

We really enjoyed or stay. Everything they said about the neighborhood and what to do is true. We think its a bit pricey but overall perfect.

My partner and I both really liked this hostel, we felt safe to walk around the local area. The staff in the hostel were very sweet and helped with every request (needle and thread for my ripped shorts). Food was very nice and we were able to find multiple things to suit our vegetarian diets. The beds were clean and comfortable. Atmosphere was calm and chill. Thank you for having us! Maybe we will come back some time.

the places felt like an oasis in the middle of the chaotic New Delhi. Loved it was so clean and organized. I forgot a package and they even saved it for me, and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. 👏👏

I had a really nice stay at Jhouse! It's a bit outside of the centre, so it takes a while to get anywhere from there, but at least it's quiet at night. The staff is amazing, really friendly and ready to help with anything. The room I was in was good, had everything you need, AC is on during the night which helps a lot, staff cleans the rooms and bathrooms every day. The best thing is the rooftop terrace for sure, I spent a lot of time there. And they serve food as well, which was really nice. :)

Jhouse was my welcomer place in my first time in India and it was a really good choice. From the beggining they informed me about everything, and they organized airoport pick up at 3 am. When I arrived at house, they gave me a really easy in boarding. I booked i prívate room and it was so clean, prepare with all staf and so cute and smart. Great ubication, so local! Jhouse offer you also a delicious drinks and street style food. If you have doubts to your stay in India, Jhouse is your place!
