Urban Hostel Palma - Albergue Juvenil

Beds are uncomfortable, you have to put the sheets on your own bed and it’s literally impossible. The pillow is plastic. The beds are plastic too and you can hear everyone moving all night long. There’s no chargers in the bunks and black out curtains are needed because you are constantly woken up by people turning on and off the lights in the middle of the night and the current curtains do not block the light. Good location tho.

Leider extrem dreckig … Unter der Matratze lagen noch diverse Sachen wie ohrenstäbchen Kontaktlinsen und weiteres :( Mopp sehr dreckig und allgemein dreckiger Zustand ! Personal hat nix gegen laute Leute im Zimmer gemacht da keine Nacht Schlaf bekommen dann Party people :(

This was my second time staying at this hostel. The first time was during the week. This time was on a Saturday. The entire hostel is a party hostel on the weekends. People party in the rooms, party in the public spaces, parties all night long. The rules are not enforced. Staff tries and people go back to partying when they leave. People party here at least until 3am. I had to catch an early flight the next day and wasn’t able to sleep at all. Be warned. Don’t stay here if you expect to slee...

Not recommended. I paid for a full week, checked in, got a code — but when I came back, the code didn’t work. They had checked me out without asking, just because I wasn’t sleeping there every night, even though I told them I’d be traveling around the island. Very unprofessional.

Staff were so rude, toilets stank, our room was right beside the toilet and we could hear EVERYTHING. Do they know about wall isolation ?? Nonexistent.

Pedí una habitación de 3 femenina y nos quisieron colocar con un hombre en el cuarto 4. me asignaron un cuarto de 8 personas cuando pagamos por uno de 4 5 Las puertas de los cuartos no se podían cerrar (nunca entendimos el porqué) y no teníamos la seguridad que otra persona entre y pueda hurtar

I have traveled in many hostels and actually I'm living in one full time. The key problem that for me kill everything is the second floor only have... two toilets for ten dorms. Having had the privilege to be in a room next to the toilet, it was a full night of people waiting and making noises. And of course you can imagine how clean they were in the morning. Another problem was that in my private room there was no curtain. So you're awake early in the morning am can't change in your room.

It wasn’t clean and some of the stuff wasn’t friendly

Toilet stinks. There was no electricity, so we had no light in our room and could not charge our phone. A lot of noice during the night. We slept next to the toilet and you can hear everything.

Absolutely awful experience. High price for mediocre beds that were very hard. We had to put our own bed sheets on, which is unacceptable for the price. To add, the acoustics in the halls were awful and I could not sleep due to people talking two floors down. Bathroom was simplistic and small. When I got out of the bathroom and tried to enter my room again, it seems the code was changed and I had to wake up roommates to get back in. Avoid.

Great location and convenient access to the area. The room was comfortable and the curtains provided good privacy. However, there were no power outlets near the beds, only USB ports. Breakfast was decent but very chaotic. The biggest issue was the shared bathrooms: they were frequently clogged, dirty, and at times had vomit and used toilet pape. The showers WERE COLD and also lacked proper locks, which made privacy a concern.

Mi estancia ha sido muy grata, tanto el personal de recepción como de limpieza y desayuno, muy atentos. Las instalaciones innovadoras, la decoración exquisita y, principalmente la habitación muy bonita y el colchón muy cómodo. Lo único negativo a reseñar sería la suciedad y falta de higiene en los baños, por parte de los huéspedes. Igual habría que desinfectarlos por la tarde-noche, ya que solo con la limpieza de la mañana no es suficiente. Por todo lo demás repetiría sin dudarlo. ...

Nice hostel situated in a peaceful part of the city, fairly close to the main attractions. There are plenty of toilets available, and they are cleaned frequently. The beds are equipped with USB-A sockets, which makes USB-C devices less convenient to use. Breakfast is good.

This property uses key pads as the way of entry to the building and the rooms as well. These codes were very difficult and only worked half the time which led to being stuck outside the building very late at night because the code wouldn’t work and there is no 24 hour reception. There is also only one USB outlet by the bed so charging your phone has to be done in the middle of the room if you have a newer phone.

Place are very clean. Staff are great. Big common spaces are located every floor. Free breakfast compose of bread, spreads, cofee and tea, juices. Ham, cheese and cured meat. Have space for your own food and snacks in the refrigirator. A lot of microwave oven, 2 oven and 1 air fryer. Just no stove and pans. Location are walking distance to palma center, good for tourist who want to explore iconic landmark in palma. Quite at night.

La vedad que el personale stivo muy bien. Pero las instalaciones muy malas. Baños muy sucios y poca agua caliente. Las camas y almohadas con una funda de plástico que era imposible dormir cómoda y sin dejar de hacer ruido. En mi cama de lamparte superior, literalmente cruzaba una columna por el medio, lo cual tenía que hacer contorsionismo cada vez que tenía que subir o bajar de ella.

not in the center but really close to the sea and the port, the main door us a sliding door and anyone can enter when its not closed with a code. Toilets are dirty, one showers on the second floor was broken and one had a clogged drain, the washing mashine broke and wasnt fixed several days, breakfast is small some of the items that are promised not always there, room for 6 people is really small, beds are uncomfortable and theres no duvet cover

El staff genial, muy majos y me ayudaron con lo que necesitaba. Tienen desayuno gratis todos los días, lo valoré mucho ya que no se ofrece en muchos sitios. Las duchas no son muy limpias y se inundan un poco, dejan fregonas en los baños porque el agua sale por el suelo. Las sábanas son demasiado pequeñas para el colchón y es muy difícil ponerlas. En mi habitación el aire acondicionado estaba conectado con la ventana entonces tuve que dejar la ventana un poco abierta para no tener aire, h...

The people at the hostal are generally unfriendly and the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting

Had a nice stay, enjoyed the keypad lock for the room and front door so you don't have a key. The bathrooms flood extremely easily and the hallways were flooding. Rooms small, and my top bunk was in an awkward spot with cieling slant and supports hanging down. Good location and breakfast.

Very nice place and very neat. The desk people are super nice and the kitchen is very big. The only bad point is that there is not enough toilets, occupied all the time :)

Great stay for one night in Palma. The position is very convenient, just 15 minutes walk from the Cathedral. The staff of the hostel was very friendly and welcoming, waiting for us until almost midnight since we were coming with a late flight. Only the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the comfort of the mattresses can be improved in my opinion. Overall, recommended stay also for the price (72€ for 4 people), including a free breakfast.
