Hostel très sale ! J ai pu trouver des vers dans la douche, des cheveux un peu partout. La douche est sale et dangereuse. Des carreaux ne sont plus fixés mais tjr la prêt à vous couper. Très bien situé mais très bruyant également.

The owner was very good and very helpful. Overall, The cleanliness was okay not bad. there was overflowing of toilet one day . Main thing was , it was very overpriced for the hostel ( 30 euros) , there was not even any seasoning to cook, hostel was very small. smallest I have ever been in 18 countries. stares was too small to climb for the terrace. Hostel owner should also put price according to its value. I know the hostel price is expensive in Lagos but still value is something.....

We had a nice stay at the hostel. The staff is great and really dedicated. There are events every nights and the staff participates/facilitates. The location is great (a bit noisy though) and there is a nice patio and rooftop. However a few things could be done better: - The stoves were not working and the kitchen is not really usable - The bathroom was a bit dirty because there was no bathroom carpet. - It's very hot in the summer, for the price we could expect to have the air conditioner.

Don’t see how this has such a high rating. Cramped rooms, only one shower for two dorms, staff was unhelpful. Would not come back.

JJ is very helpful and nice, and it’s in a good location right in the heart of Lagos, but other than that it’s pretty average. Be aware it is VERY loud at night outside.

El unico lugar en europa que tiene mosquitos!! Para mi es un hostel comun y corriente por lo que el precio no resulta acorde, me parecio un poco caro.

Besides the initial check-in with JJ who was very kind and down to earth, I barely saw staff on the property. Security and access to the building + room was questionable (ie, easy passcodes to enter the building and doors to the rooms were often left open). Cleanliness/ hygiene of shared spaces was less than average of other properties I stayed at during trip. I later learned JJ's Yard has two properties, and it's likely that staff spend most time at the other (larger) property.

süßes Hostel mit toller Dachterasse und super Lage. Nette Mitarbeiter! Es gibt jeden Tag einen free pub crawl! Allerdings nicht besonders sauber und eher lieblos eingerichtet. Nachts ziemlich laut.

Very good if you’re looking for a party hostel! It’s very very basic, but a great location and vibe all round

The hostel was fine, but there was not put much effort in the interior (no bedsheets, old pillows, no curtains at the beds…). It is a good place if you are looking for a lot of partying, which makes it quite quite loud an busy. Because there is no ac you need to leave the windows open at light which makes it even louder.

Great location for accommodation as it’s right on the edge of all the shops and restaurants of the old town. However, it is on a street with cars and near nightlife so is super loud at night. When we got there the bathrooms and dorm were very dirty. The floors in the dorm room do not get cleaned so there is dust and dirt covering the floor. Staff are very attentive to issues if you bring them up. Good value for money overall.

Everyday day is a new opportunity for great memories with all the amazing staff and owner! JJs yard knows how too get people together and u not gonna have a boring day here even if u spend all day on the amazing beaches or hinkning the coastline u always find someone up for a great night out All my love too this hostel I’m gonna come back one day

Was so much fun! Jay was so nice and helpful and had such great English! In a great location and fun pregames before going out. Would recommend :)

very basic hostel but the vibe was fantastic, loved all the volunteers there, met so many cool people, nightly pub crawls were fun, good common areas, big lockers, etc. however, I do wish there were curtains on the beds!

Had an amazing time at JJs Yard! Such a great, fun and friendly environment! A perfect choice if you want to be social and meet other travellers!

Nice clean place with friendly staff. A great location is close to the bus station and the beach. I highly recommend it.

Staff was nice. Bathroom was clean. The PILLOW WAS THE BEST hostel pillow I’ve had. Beds were comfy too. Only recommendations would be to add some sort of hooks in the bathroom so there’s somewhere to bring in clothes for changing.

The staff was great giving all the recommendations of where to go, super easy check in. There are two locations that are relatively small. I enjoyed the free pub crawl and laid back feel of it all. It felt like staying at someone’s house more than a hostel. I’d recommend staying here to meet people and have a good time but not really for a place to chill and hangout.

JJ’s is truly the best place to stay in Lagos if you’re looking for a super fun, social vibe. There are two outdoor patio spaces that are great additions, and give a good third place to hang out. Nightly pub crawls, super welcoming staff who make you feel at home. Would recommend in a heartbeat!!

One of my favorite hostels ever, because it doesn’t feel like a hostel, it just feels like living with your friends. I stayed in this hostel twice, because I felt so at home there. The location is great, super close to bars, coffeeshops and the beach. Felt very safe walking back late at night. I will definitely stay here again.

Loved JJs! Great staff, JJ gave me a full run down of Lagos even when I arrived late at night past check-in. So lovely, volunteers great too. This particular place only has 2 rooms so it’s quite small but links up with JJs Yard 2 for hostel activities (pub crawl). Would definitely stay again :) Only downside is there was no AC in my room.

Amazing hostel, great staff. Throughly recommend this hostel!! Handy kitchen

Had really great time here, the staff were nice and felt more like friends than staff, cozy balconies and a rooftop terrace was nice. Can’t speak for future visitors to come but none of us used the lockers because the overall vibe felt chill and trustworthy. Definitely would recommend, especially if you like partying :)

Great place - terrace is lovely and good location. Pub crawl was the best ever (and free!) thank you Johanna and Tom!! Staff are all great! Side note - no curtains on bed, bring a thin lock for the lockers. Overall loved it though

I had such a good time here, the staff was so nice and the pub crawl was really fun as well! The terraces were a nice place for having meals and everything worked out well. JJ or another member of staff was always around and happy to help.
