Bedbugs on the hostel! Had to take care of severe rashes on my stay and treat all of my things to ensure I wasnt carrying them. Additionally they refused to hear my complains. Totally disgusting. Avoid at all costs.

This hostel has bedbugs, it's impossible to sleep because of the renovation, and the staff smiles in your face and then fraudulently writes off money from your card.

I have no idea how this place have good raiting. Avoid this place! I got bitten by bed bugs, and the staff denied everything, even suggested I brought them. No refund (only €5 deposit), and they lied about having no free rooms. I saw people checking in! I had to find a new place and wash all my stuff. Plus, there’s loud construction from 8 AM, so sleeping is impossible. Terrible experience. Do not stay here if you care about cleanliness or basic respect.

Super dirty. They gave a stained towel amd when I asked for a new one they gave me one that's even dirtier. The bathrooms were so smelly... Also, would not recommened to solo female travellers

Struttura in una buona posizione ma ci sono stati diversi problemi. Siamo arrivati con la pioggia alle 20.40 con il limite di check-in alle 21 e non ci è stata aperta la porta fino alle 21, quando un ospite dell’ ostello ci ha sentiti. Alla reception non c’era nessuno e abbiamo dovuto aspettare che arrivassero. L’ostello era sporchissimo, non erano stati lavati il bagno e il pavimento, era pieno di polvere e sporcizia e i bagni in comune ancora peggio. Non consiglio questo posto a nessun...

it was fine. I could tell that the few sofas were never cleaned and they felt dingy. The kitchen was ok. Bathrooms were very nice. I wouldnt recommend this to younger people because there were a lot of older men and I did not feel very safe.

We were a large group and booked all the private rooms. It was a lovely surprise to find such a beautiful and well-maintained place. The kitchen and dining area were very cozy and comfortable, and there was also a charming patio — it’s a pity we didn’t have more time to enjoy it. The building itself is beautiful, very well located, and situated on a lovely street close to many restaurants, cafés, and a very authentic and charming square at the end of the street. We 100% recommend it...

excelente localização perto do centro do porto e poucos minutos do mercado bolhão. A equipe bem prestativa em ajudar.

Honestly quite underrated. It’s a traditional hostel unlike most you find in Europe. It’s clean, cheap, old, a little noisy at times, but it has everything including a baggage store for free. There are two kitchens, plenty of shared bathrooms, and the staff are nice. I would rate it higher if not for a payment issue with them.

Very dirty, the kitchen smelled bad, and all the common areas had stains and were dirty even in the next morning. Safety was really bad, the doors didn’t lock automatically, you had no manually lock it, so if a person in your room forgets to lock it when they arrive, you’re unprotected. In the two days I stayed, the staff had to kick out the woman in my room, and another guy staying there got in a screaming fight with the receptionist…Very uncomfortable.

No me gustó para nada. La atención de la recepcionista fue poco amable, parecía más como de afán… Las habitaciones compartidas son horribles, no tienes ni sábanas, te entregan una cobija doblada y una almohada que no aparentaban estar muy limpias. Hay mejores opciones y más económicas en Porto, no volveríamos a hospedarnos aquí

Staff and common spaces were awesome! Showers were also good with warm water and enough space to move around.

O2 hostel is a budget hostel, about 25 minutes walk from the river, which made it ideal for me. The hostel is clean and nicely decorated with 2 pretty large outdoor areas, which are great sun spots from morning into the afternoon. I found the staff to be welcoming, friendly and helpful at all times. The only things that let my experience down there, was inconsiderate behaviour from some of the other guests ie. Leaving dirty dishes in the sink and making a lot of noise when people are sleeping.

Great overall, very clean, with a nice little yard in the back that traps the sun ☀️ Staff was very friendly and accommodating even for our last minute requests. Very near convenience stores and not too far from the centre! Definitely recommend for a very affordable price!

Por el precio que se paga para mi estuvo todo de maravilla, personal amable que incluso hablaba en español, ubicación buena caminando a unos 10 o 15 minutos de los principales atractivos de Porto, habitación compartida pero de buen espacio, quizá el único detalle es que las duchas están junto con el baño entonces si alguien se esta duchando no se puede utilizar el baño y vicecersa.

As fotos não são parecidas com o local. Meu quarto tinha muito mofo na parede. Os quartos faltam reforma O banheiro estava super sujo e os lixos da cozinha transbordando. Os funcionários são muito amáveis mas não recomendo.

The place has potential, but is super disorganised. Ive booked a room that was supposed to have 8 beds and an en-suite bathroom, but that room doesn't exist. All the bathrooms are shared, the rooms are small and poorly ventilated. I've witnessed the staff arguing multiple times, which doesn't help creating a welcoming atmosphere. Plus, I wouldn't recommend the place for female solo travelers.

It was an interesting place, there were a lot of Indians staying there. The rooms didn’t have wifi and would get really cold at night too but it had big lockers with locks to easily store all my stuff.

Hostel grande, boa relação qualidade/preço. Beliches confortáveis,cozinha equipada. Pessoal atencioso. No meu quarto se escutava o barulho da rua bem ao lado. A frequência da limpeza das áreas comuns (casas de banho, cozinha), poderiam aumentar ao dia, por terem bastante hóspedes. O Hostel em si é bastante limpo, deu para perceber, mas nem todo hóspede que se preocupa por manter a limpeza das áreas divididas.
