Worst backpackers I have ever stayed at. 4 showers for 50 people, 3 toilets. No hot water. Heating didn’t work. Mattress was extremely dirty and covered in black mold.
No fue una experiencia agradable debido al pésimo servicio de recepción. Tuve que hacer una transferencia bancaria para pagar porque nunca hay nadie en recepción, ni temprano por la mañana, ni tarde por la noche, ni a primera hora de la tarde. Lo único positivo son los servicios que ofrecen: aparcamiento y toallas. Por lo demás, no volvería a reservar.
It was not a pleasant experience due to the terrible reception service. i had to make a bank transfer to pay because there is never anyone at the reception, neither early in the morning, nor late at night, nor in the early afternoon. the only positive thing is the services they offer: parking and towels. otherwise, i would not book again.
Very dirty and it smells bad I get it’s somehow cheaper than other options in the village but at least they should provide the basics like hot water and cleanness.
I could not make it to the location due to a snow storm. I paid a deposit balance. However,the facility just charged my account the full cost of the room
La struttura era molto sporca e il personale scortese. Prezzo troppo elevato per la tipologia di alloggio. Purtroppo è uno dei pochi ostelli a Fort William, ma lo sconsiglierei.
The hotel was very dirty and the staff was very rude. price too high for the type of accommodation. unfortunately it is one of the few hostels in Fort William, but I would not recommend it.
Booked an 8 bed female dorm, put in a 10 bed room. When attempted to rectify with staff was told that there is no 8 bed room and no refund was provided. Was advised they are aware they advertise an 8 bed room, despite not being available. Still awaiting partial refund outcome. Dorms very small. No lockers within dorm and staff staying in room left room messy. Certain staff were also rude and loud at night, fighting outside dorm rooms.
Way too many beds for the size of the place We were sharing maybe 6 showers amongst 30 people It was crowded and stuffy and not clean Very uncomfortable and I’m glad we only stayed the night Not returning
We booked this hostel for 3 nights and unfortunately had to leave after 1. There were only 2 showers for the entire hostel, and there was no hot water (even in the sinks). We tried showering at 3 different times (early evening, night, and morning) and even used the out of order shower at the staff member's suggestion and there was not hot water at any time. The staff member was nice and let us refund the unused days of our stay. Sheets are old and the wall had a questionable hole. Not for me.
Freezing cold showers
The staff was nice, and the location was good, but the place was cramped and chaotic. It really didn't feel professional, more like a house turned into a hostel by cramming bunk beds and people into it. Worst part was that my bed really didn't feel washed. There was a hair on my pillow case that I noticed after getting into bed, and it most definitely wasn't mine, so that freaked me out. But in general, the sheets were really old, very bally, and the mattress has seen better days.

Friendly staff, spacious room, and such a beautiful location.
fantastic! lovely building, and the common space is phenomenal
The hostel is a lovely space and run with a lot of love. I've met very nice people there and enjoyed my stay. However two things to note, the top bunks do not have any rails or anything that would prevent you falling off which definitely impacted my sleep. The showers were also cold and I was not the only one noting this. Cleanliness could be improved slightly but for the price it was okay.
Not your high frills hostel, the beds had no curtains, the landings were usually full of shoes drying out and 30% of the showers were broken… I’d come back tomorrow if I could! What a wonderful little spot, the people passing thru were so nice and it was such a great little town. Good launching spot to explore the Highlands and have somewhere to come back to. Whatever you do, do not forget your key when you go to the bathroom at night or you will sleep on the floor outside the door.

Cool place! Little bit of a farther walk from the main strip where most shops/bars/etc are located but nothing crazy. Very basic in terms of amenities, they offer towels, laundry, etc all for a charge. Shower didn’t get hot but sometimes it be like that. Overall not bad.

Très bien, personnel très serviable. Grande cuisine qu’on peut utiliser, plusieurs douches et toilettes disponibles en + de ceux dans notre chambre! La salle commune est agréable avec tout ce qu’il faut (jeux, crayons de couleurs, crochets…). Il est possible de faire tourner une machine et les faire passer au sèche linge pour 10pound, c’est vraiment utile quand on est en back pack et que l’on fait uniquement des auberges de jeunesses. Juste petit bémol pour ma part : pas de rid...
Very well, very helpful staff. large kitchen that we can use, several showers and toilets available in + of those in our room! the common room is nice with everything that is needed (games, coloring pencils, crochets...). it is possible to turn a machine and dry laundry for 10pounds, it is really useful when you are backpacking and they only make hostels for young people. just a small tip for me: no curtains for beds
Lovely old Victorian house with some great features especially the front lounge. Cold showers. 2 showers for approximately 40 people. Not enough kitchen space 2 cookers 1 microwave
Could be a bit warmer in the rooms, and showers as well:) ecxept that its okay!
Super süßes Hostel! Sehr zu empfehlen! Der Gemeinschaftsraum und die ganze Einrichtung ist einfach sehr gemütlich und freundlich :)

Great location, very easy to get to. Overall pretty average, no bells and whistles but we still had a great time! The bathrooms could use some improvement!
