MEININGER Milano Garibaldi

A really great hostel! There’s not a ton of storage in the lockers, but all of our stuff seemed safe. Very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. It is right next to train tracks which you can definitely hear, but we still got plenty of sleep.

We had a really great time here and met some amazing people. Staff were really helpful too. Great location as not far from the metro station.

El hostal casi ideal, solo por la ubicación a 20 minutos en transporte del Duomo. La atención excelente y la cocina completamente equipada y muy amplia. Solo falta un poco más de limpieza en el baño de las habitaciones y cocina. Gracias!

The hostel room was clean and spacious, however with limited storage space for larger baggage. The staff were very friendly and helpful and let drop my luggage off early. Be mindful that you have to pay €6.50 to store the luggage via the bounce app.

O melhor hostel que eu fiquei até agora. Fiquei num quarto super organizado e limpo. Recomendo muiiiito esse hostel para quem quer enconomizar dinheiro, porque eles tem uma cozinha super bem equipada!

overall great stay, a little far from city center but that was expected.

The hostel itself is quite good but like with other big chains of hotel-hostel hybrids the type of people you run into is really mixed and not always great. I stayed with my girlfriend in a 4 bed mixed dorm so it was fine but the two other people staying there were middle aged men with no sense of boundaries and if my girlfriend were travelling alone like many women do,they would feel incredibly uneasy, it baffles me that there no age restriction but if you're 40+ you don't belong in a hostel!

Own bathroom in our room was great. It's a big hostel. Very clean which was amazing. Kind of in a weird spot, but close to the train stations.

Surprisingly affordable during the Olympics! Our room was very nice and everything was super clean. They let us store our bags since we were early to check-in and made it super easy to pick them up even though we weren’t back until after midnight. Since everyone who was staying there was there for the Olympics, the atmosphere was amazing! Highly recommend!

Meininger is a great chain of hostels. We stayed at a few while in Italy and we had no complaints. The Milano Garibaldi location was a quick 5 minute walk to the metro which made it easy to get around. The hostel was very secure and clean. The lockers in the room were small and could only fit a smaller backpack so if you don'r mind your clothes or suitcase being out in a shared room then thats no problem. I would stay here again.

The hostel is cleaned well and it’s a nice place overall. The four bed dorm layout is very odd; two twin beds next to each other and a bunk bed. There’s no curtains and it kind of seems more like a room meant for a family. Luckily I had good roommates who were happy to chat, so the awkwardness faded quickly. The lockers in the rooms are also quite small and don’t fit large bags. The location is also kind of far out from the central area - about a 1 hour walk or two different trams.

La habitacion y el lugar estaba muy muy bien, sin embargo, queda un poco lejos de las cosas importantes si llegan de noche es probable que tengas que tomar un taxi para llegar.
