Stayokay Maastricht

There is no kitchen or space to cook and outside food isn't allowed. The lockers require big locks to be secured so you can't use your own necessarily (desk staff may have them but I did not ask)

The location is perfect and the decoration is really nice, but it is a bit overpriced! The sheets were also not clean for at least two beds.

Nice hostel in general, perfect to do some remote work, but the atmosphere was missing some socializing during my stay.

Overall nice hostel, everything you need for a short stay. Very modern building and chill-area. Unfortunately not many young people around, therefore it was hard to connect with others to do things together, that was shame.

Facilities in the room left a lot to be desired. Shower space was small and continuous problem with blocked sink. Overall a decent place but would be tempted to look eslewhere ein future

No lockers provided in the room and it's forbidden to have food or drinks of your own. You also have to make your own bed. Good location, very basic.

Clean hostel, scenic riverfront view. Location a bit out of the way. Atmosphere was really weird, granted my stay was in the off season. Vibe was more like a hotel. No community events or happy hour or anything. Clientele were not your typical hostel young tourists backpacking Europe. Beds are OK, a little squeaky and no curtains.

Had a very comfortable stay here, location is great, terrace views over the river Maas superb. Staff friendly, beds comfy and had a good time. Would defo come back

An okay stay — get it? This is a hostel that feels like a hotel. No atmosphere and some rules like no bringing in your own alcohol (though they’ll happily store it in their fridge, so that’s nice). Also no kitchen to make your own food. We had a fine stay here (facilities were overall good), but, yeah, it won’t be for everyone.

Really nice hostel with lovely staff. Only a couple of downsides: lockers in rooms were too small to store big bags in; no kitchen; and no laundry service. But if you can plan around it’s a wonderful hostel!

Een fijn hostel voor een nachtje! Afstand tot de stad is prima, maar het station is wel wat lang. Verder wel wat aan de dure kant, was beter geweest als er dan een handdoek inbegrepen zou zijn.

Overall, I really liked it, but there was an incident at night where some drunks were making a lot of noise in the hallways, banging on doors and running, and there was no one from the staff or security to remove them. I paid for a night's sleep and didn't get it.

Clean Hostel in good location. The lockers in the room didn't fit my (big) bag, but there were bigger lockers in the common area, for free. There is no kitchen for cooking on your own, and no fridge. All in all very nice though!

Nice Hostel for a couple of nights. Especially the terrace right out to the river was very nice!

Amplio, limpio y tranquilo. Las recámaras tienen casilleros con candado y percheros. Las áreas comunes muy amplias y agradables. Ubicado justo saliendo del centro de la ciudad.

Hurrah for air-con! In a heatwave this is where you want to stay, cool rooms with comfortable beds, shower & toilet in the room with separate sink. Only quibble is that the lockers are all far too narrow for even a small rucksack, so make sure you can padlock your rucksack zips together instead. Lovely deck area overlooking the river was the perfect spot to watch a thunderstorm

The best hostel I ever made, the location is perfect everything is clean, the room are nice and the people as well. The place to be !

Ich war allein unterwegs und hab mich sehr wohl und sicher gefühlt. Alle vom Personal waren super freundlich. Zimmer und Bäder sind sauber. Nehmt unbedingt ein Schloss für die Schließfächer mit! Die Fächer könnten meiner Meinung nach vllt etwas größer sein, ansonsten alles top.

I enjoyed my stay here. I was greeted warmly by a chatty and friendly receptionist making me feel very welcome! The rest of the check in process was very simple. The room was surprisingly spacious for a 7 bed dorm. Whilst I think it could have been a little bit cleaner (I found some hairs on the floor) I'm not concerned about this. I had a great night sleep in a comfy bed. I'd say the catering options (breakfast and vending machine) could have been better. But I would certainly stay...

Great stay here, would 100% recommend, it is very close to a good park and downtown Maastricht as well.
