Hi Lousã -Pousada de Juventude

I was the only guest in this very big hostel so it's hard to say how the atmosphere was. The staff was friendly and the place was nice.

Clean open and friendly. Continental breakfast with fresh hot apple cinnamon cake. There's only 2 cakes I like.... hot and cold. Preseason so we got a room and bathroom to ourselves. Lucky pick. The area is great to explore the hiking trails

Très très bonne auberge (la meilleure même). Nous y étions comme chez nous, tout le personnel a été très sympa et accueillant. La région est magnifique donc tout était vraiment parfait.

Rooms are spacious but have no lockers. Hallway between the rooms is a bit noisy. Facilities are cleaned regularly. Location is good for hiking in the hills around Lousa. Hostel could work on atmosphere, for instance by adding elements to the lounge room which is now basically some chairs and tables. But when I was there, there were maybe max 10 other guests in a hostel that could host probably at least 100, so then it is always difficult to not give an empty feeling.

Ein sehr gutes Hostel! Frühstück war mit inbegriffen und man kann seine Wäsche für einen Euro waschen, Waschmittel usw vorhanden. Würde jederzeit wieder kommen da man von dem Hostel aus Mega gut wandern gehen kann!

Very quiet, not many people were there when I stayed. Rooms are very clean & come with locked doors, no lockers inside but a cupboard for each bed with drawers. Beds come with a sheet, free towel, duvet and throw. Overall pretty clean and kept. Outlets are near the beds but not as convenient as they are at the ends. Enjoyed my peaceful stay, staff was friendly and quiet. Price of this hostel is hard to beat and the location is perfect for a hike to the castle or Shist Villages.

Pousada excelente, principalmente o quarto privado. Muito espaçoso, banheiro grande e por um bom preço para duas pessoas. A localização é perfeita, perto de tudo!

A perfect location for our hike to the schist villages. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the hostel was quiet at night, so good for sleeping. Breakfast was completely adequate. We had a lovely dinner in Lousa at Maria Das Tapas. Highly recommend this hostel.
