Staff were lovely but the condition of the bathrooms was not great at all and the private room had no lock on the door.
Un bon rapport qualité prix mais les espaces communs ne sont pas tops, les douches/toilettes ne font pas très propre au vu de l’état qui n’est pas top. Nous n’avons pas trouvé de cuillère dans la cuisine, pas pratique. Sinon le gérant de l’hostel est sympa et arrangeant sur les heures d’arrivée
We found no spoon in the kitchen, not practical. otherwise the hostel manager is nice and arranging about the arrival times.
Hay un buen recibimiento y el hostal es amplio, pero no me tocó agua caliente y la habitación se sentía muy polvosa. En general está muy descuidado el lugar, una manita de gato a algunas áreas no le caería mal.
There is a good reception and the hostel is spacious, but I didn't touch any hot water and the room felt very dusty. in general the place is very neglected, a little cat hand in some areas would not be bad.
Place in decay
Chose this hostel for it's location, reviews and price. Not sure how 9.9 on Hostelworld. Location within walking distance of attractions and the metro. A 200 year old building badly in need of repairs. The hosts Lily and Daniel are nice but were hardly around. One volunteer who cleaned. We ran out of drinking water on a couple of occasions. No towels or soap. Kitchen sparse. No utensils. Mostly single men partying nightly until morning. Messy.My room was next to party area. I don't recommend.

Good location and clean, staff were friendly when we arrived. But had cold showers! My partner found the one hot one on the last morning we were there. The bed was flipped so we were on the spring side the first night wondering why it was so uncomfortable, flipping it back over helped for the second night for some comfort from the mattress topper. And our room was right next to the common area so we couldn't sleep well.
The owners were really friendly and accommodating, even those living there for long term. Location was great, close to the center and a lot of cool spots in the area. The only thing that needs improvement is the place needs a little maintenance and cleaning. But overall a great place to stay for a quick visit to Guadalajara.

The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and perfect for meeting people from all over the world. As someone visiting from Spain, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Clean rooms, great vibes, and unforgettable memories. I’ll definitely be back.

Me agradó mucho hospedarme en Casita Hotel, el lugar es cómodo y acogedor. Katie, la encargada, es súper amable y atenta; siempre está pendiente de tu estancia, te apoya si te falta algo y te orienta muy bien sobre las áreas y lugares alrededor. Sin duda regresaría nuevamente a hospedarme aquí.
I really enjoyed staying at Casita Hotel, the place is comfortable and welcoming. Katie, the manager, is super friendly and attentive; she is always watching your stay, supports you if you miss something and orients you very well about the surrounding areas and places.
Absolutely amazing! From the moment I walked in, I felt right at home. I have stayed at several hostels in Guadalajara and this one by far is my favorite. The location, cleanliness and vibe is serburb.

This place is in a great location! Its cozy feel is welcoming. I’ve never stayed at a hostel before so I was worried and nervous about what to expect. Casita hostel is very secure and I didn’t fear for my safety which was a concern of mine with staying at a hostel. The space is clean and very uniquely decorated. My bed was comfy and the hosts were super friendly and helpful.

Cozy place that makes you feel free at home. Daniel and Lili are very kind, attentive and easygoing. The atmosphere is very stimulating for creative minds.
This is a nice place. My 2nd time here and will come back everytime im in Guadalajara. The house is typical traditional mexican house that has great potential if given the chance to be renovated.
