Lake View Hostel

In general the hostel has a very nice vibe. What I really have to point out is the fact that it’s super unsafe. Everyone had lockers but still somebody managed to steal things from two lockers. All my money that was locked up got stolen, and we met other people that had the same experience. I get that it’s important to have an eye on your stuff but when you can’t even trust the lockers i think that’s a huge problem. Also there were bed bugs and the staff didn’t care about it whatsoever...

The hostel felt like a ghost town, no atmosphere whatsoever.

Really mixed reviews at this hostel… it’s really spacious and has lots of activities. Maybe we just got unlucky but we had a pretty scary run in during our stay here which i believe was heavily related to the lack of security at the hostel. Someone “checked” into our 8 bed dorm; however, no identification or pre payment was taken from him, and he wrote fake identification info into the registration book which was not looked over by the staff. When we were all out of the dorm he tried ...

They promised us to give us back our laundry on time but didn’t manage to do so: then we had a bag full of wet clothes that we took to the airport with us ..

Hostel was fine. Thai at the top was nice! Ambiance in the shared areas was mediocre. everything seems a bit worn off. Kitchen doesnt seem to have hot water which leads to dirty utileries. Privates (and dorms probably too) at the ground floor are noisy due to being near common area. Shower not very hot with cold water dripping

Great location and very helpful staff, but the dorm smelled really musty and the bathrooms were not really clean. The dorm was also next to the social area which made it hard to sleep, but was okay for one night!

Solo limpian la cocina los lunes, me parece antihigiénico para un hostal con tantos cuartos. Si solo pasas una noche ahí y no cocinas es soportable pero no estaría cómoda si tuviera que pasar más de eso.

Location in centro città ma la parte bella del lago non è lì e la vista lago non c’e

La verdad que me quedé con pena debido una situación de violencia que hubo entre una pareja , violencia extrema lo cual me despertó a las 6 am y fui a decir en recepción y no hicieron nada . Dijeron que los invitaron a retirarse del cuarto pero en realidad no lo hicieron , hasta a la policía tendrían que haber llamado y en lo que refiere a mi no pude dormir nada por una situación ajena . Lo demás del hostel ok por el precio acorde .

Die Küche war zwar aufgeräumt, jedoch war das Geschirr nicht richtig sauber und die Toiletten auch nicht. Ansonsten war das Hostel ganz okey.

Really nice and chill hostel ! i wish peoples take more time in guatape and stay a night ! its a bit quiet but its nice also :)

Nice small hostel. It has a good location and you can easily reach everything by foot. The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Can only recommend :)

good hostel, shared kitchen which can be crowded but well equipped. nice rooftop with a nice view - also social hostel :) starf is helpful and location is also good :)

Lovely hostel with kind staff. Beautiful spot tucked outside of the busy part of town but still close walk away. Clean and comfortable dorms with curtains and shelves. Nice balcony and common areas. Kitchen a bit small but does the trick. Would definitely recommend!

Superb hostel. First hostel in my Colombia backpacking trip that felt like an aid to my travel experience. Staff was very willing to talk about what there was to do in Guatape, and set me up with a paragliding tour. Extremely clean facilities with fantastic beds and bathrooms. Beds have curtains and a nice blanket. There is a beautiful and spacious common area on the top floor that has a view of the lake. Great location. Currently the best hostel I've stayed at in my 4 weeks in Colombia so far.

Hostal liegt am Stadtrand, aber ist super und ruhig und man läuft nur 10 Minuten zum Busterminal. Angestellte sind super nett, Küche gut ausgestattet und Einrichtung in top Zustand.

Prima. Vriendelijk personeel. locatie wel wat buiten het centrum. Geen sociale vibe en weinig activiteiten.

Great hostel! View of the lake, upgraded my private room to a balcony room. Very helpful staff. Clean. Chill vibe. Would definitely stay again.

Super hostel ! Proche du centre. Le staff était très gentil. Les dortoirs, la salle de bain et la cuisine étaient propres et très bien équipés ! Nous y avons passé deux nuits :)

Je m'attendais à avoir une belle vue sur le lac mais on ne voit rien. Les personnes à l'accueil ne donnent aucun conseil à l'arrivée. Il n'y a aucune activé dans l'auberge, silencieux, on s'ennuie et il est difficile de rencontrer des gens.

Alles was prima in orde! Tijdens mijn verblijf was er niet echt een sociale vibe.

Der Host war sehr nett, wir hatten das 6er Zimmer gebucht, hatten aber Glück, da wir nur zu 2. waren. Das Hostel bietet zahlreiche Tourmöglichkeiten. Die Kajaktour auf dem See ist sehr zu empfehlen!
