Nest Residence

Propriétaire gentille mais l'endroit laisse à désirer...je devais y passer 2nuits,je ss partie le lendemain.

War alles sehr süß und das Zimmer war toll, aber die Lage ist echt kacke. Man braucht 30 min oder länger zu Zentrum und noch länger zu den bekannten Stränden. Ist außerdem kein richtiges Hostel, sondern mehr eine Zimmervermietung. Aber die Frau war sehr nett und Frühstück war auch okay.

War ein recht guter Aufenthalt. Lage war okay, ca 15-30 Minuten zum Strand. Die Familie war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit! Das Frühstück war simple aber sehr lecker. Das Zimmer hatte leider keine Klimaanlage, weshalb es die Nächte kaum auszuhalten waren:(

Overall this place was a great value and you get what you pay for. However we had such a difficult time locating this place even In broad daylight. They have absolutely no signs up anywhere even on the property itself which is quite strange but maybe there is a logical reason for that. We asked them about it and they gave an irrelevant answer stating they only accept online bookings.Also once we arrived at 330pm they didn't even know of our reservation and had to clean and prepare the room.

amazing homestay the family are so so welcoming and it really feels like home! location is a bit far for walking i felt but you can easily arrange a scooter.really enjoyed my stay!

Lovely family. Peaceful place. No hot showers despite being listed on Hostelworld

The hosts were lovely, kind and willing to help with anything. Only thing was that without AC, the rooms got very hot.

Somewhat remote, cozy accommodation in Tangalle. The family was kind-hearted and always made sure that the stay was good. The breakfast was delicious. It is a bit away from the beach and without AC it is very warm in the evening in the rooms, which were always clean

The loveliest stay we have had and the most comfiest beds ever. Our host was so accommodating and we enjoyed having home cooked food.

Il mio soggiorno presso questa struttura è stato fantastico! Sono stata accolta da una famiglia bellissima, gentile e disponibile per qualsiasi cosa. La posizione è molto tranquilla, sommersa dal verde, lontano dal caos cittadino e vicino a delle spiagge bellissime (20min a piedi dal centro e 15 per la spiaggia). La camera l’ho trovata molto pulita e accogliente. Ho anche fatto cena due volte ed è stato il miglior riso e curry mai provato. Consiglio questo luogo per un po’ di tranquillit�...

Nest Residence is the best hostel/homestay, I’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka! The hosts are so nice, and willing to help with everything for a good price. The rooms are big and clean, and the showers are good too. Very big recommendation

I only spend one night at the Nest Residence but found it to be one of the nicest places I stayed at during my trip. The room was quiet, clean, well equipped and I was able to sleep like a baby. Also the host family is super kind and sweet and made me some delicious breakfast. I definitely recommend this place when staying in Tangalle!

Such a lovely Homestay - they looked after me when I was really unwell and let me extend multiple times

Lovely place, this one. Family run and full of character. I like it quiet and a little away from the action, so this residential homestay suited me down to the ground.. The hosts are the kindest you’ll meet and the food offered is delicious. Booked for two nights but stayed for six. This place also attracts very pleasant guests who I enjoyed taking with. It’s an authentic experience and one that I wholeheartedly recommend based on value for money and location.

Nest residence is a very peaceful place to stay, it was exactly what I was looking for. The room was very clean. Located about a 15 minute walk to town which was nice because it was nice and quiet. Udith the owner and his family are great, very helpful and very welcoming I would remove this place if you looking for a quiet place to stay.

Übernachtung bei einer super lieben und herzlichen Familie. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeber waren sehr zuvorkommend und boten auch an, uns zu Ausflügen zu fahren. Wir wollten die Schildkröten am Strand ansehen und der Gastgeber hat extra für uns dort angerufen und sich erkundigt, wie die Chancen stehen. Bisher unsere beste Unterkunft auf unserem Trip!

We had an amazing stay here. We messed up our booking, but were upgraded to a private room for no extra cost even though it was our fault. Udith and his family are incredible hosts, so attentive, friendly and prepare delicious Sri Lankan food for such reasonable prices. We were only here one night but wish we stayed longer. The kindest family! There is also a quiet beach a short walk away where we saw turtles.

Lovely place with great people there to look after you who are very helpful and kind would definitely come back hopefully!

Best place we’ve stayed in Sri lanka so far. This family will welcome you opened arm and the food is so good !

Me and my friend stayed for one night and wished we had the time to stay longer! We had booked a dorm but we were upgraded to a private room for no extra cost, which was clean and comfortable. The family were so kind and helpful and made us feel at home at the property. We had breakfast there which was delicious and really good value for money. We would highly recommend this homestay!
