Tribe Hostel

Lage in Ordnung. Man läuft 30 min bis zum Zentrum. Achtung wenn man ein privates Zimmer mit privatem Bad bucht, gibt es das nicht. Man teilt sich das Bad insgesamt zu sechst. Das Fenster über der Tür lässt sich leider nicht abdunkeln und es ist nachts sehr hell im Zimmer. Aus der Dusche kam nur kaltes Wasser und es gab dort Schimmel und eine Ameisenstrasse. Die Atmosphäre war nicht schön. Im Zimmer war es immer feucht und klamm. Das WLAN war schlecht und reichte nicht in die Zimmer.

Ok to stay for 1 night but the bathroom was very dirty… Only see one of the hostel hosts for very short. Did not try the breakfast. Quiet place.

cleanliness can be improved, a bit far from the center and receptionist not very helpful. The lounge areas were nice, entrance was locked so it was quite safe.

Wir waren in einem 4-Bett Zimmer für 2 Nächte. Das Zimmer ist sehr spärlich ausgestattet, es gibt keine Ablagen oder Vorhänge an den Betten. Zwei 4-Bett Zimmer teilen sich ein Bad. Dieses wird jedoch nicht täglich gesäubert und ist daher sehr dreckig. Toilettenpapier gab es nicht, die Duscharmatur hingt halb aus der Wand raus und setzt das gesamte Bad unter Wasser. Da keine gemeinsamen Altivitäten angeboten wurden, war die Armosphäre eher anonym und überhaupt nicht herzlich.

Good Hostel, nice common area but not much going on. A bit out of the centre. We did the tuktuk daytrip which was amazing so if you stay here, definetly do it!

The Owner is really nice and wants you to have a good time! We did a tour through Kandy which was organized from the hostel. We had a really nice and fun Tuk Tuk Driver who showed us a lot of different places around Kandy!

Nice hostel, but not very social. Could have been more clean in the bathroom

O hostel estava praticamente vazio quando lá chegámos, o que foi um pouco chato. A localização é boa, mas sendo Kandy num vale tivemos sempre de apanhar um tuk-tuk para a cidade. A casa é muito grande e as instalações são boas.

I enjoyed my stay here. The rooms were big and clean! I would also recommend the tuktuk tour. Nice way to see the whole city!

Die Duschen sind etwas einfacher, sollten aber für jeden, der weiß was er bekommt kein Problem sein. Das Personal war wirklich sehr nett und hat sich immer so schnell wie möglich um alles gekümmert.

Très propre. Le personnel est très agréable et serviable. Hostel calme avec de beaux espaces communs.

place felt kinda dead but it's very clear this used to be a hotel that was turned into a hostel, that's a good thing! nice interior, AC was strong, beds very comfortable. Would recommend but needs more people.

We had the 4-bed-dorm with two other guys. We spent a lot of time with the people in our hostel in the shared rooms (balcony and TV Room). Because we liked it so much we extended one night spontaneously and it wasnt a pronlem at all. The stuff was nice and helpful.

Lovely hostel in a great location. The manager was so kind and helped me out massively when I had left something behind in the hostel. He showed us such kindness. Couldn’t recommend this hostel enough!

Great place, with very cosy common areas. Only minus was there was only one bathroom to be shared by all the people staying there, but otherwise really good

The host there was amazing he was so helpful and informative. The hostel is a 30 min walk into town. You can get the local bus for 45 local money. No complaints

Awesome place to stay in Kandy, quiet and clean. The personnel is very kind and happy to help with everything ! Totally recommend it !!

Cute hostel out of the hustle and bustle of the city center. It's about a 10 minute tuk tuk ride into the city center, so it's nice a quiet. The driveway is steep to walk especially with your luggage, but the common areas are spacious with of seating and kept very clean. I stayed in the women's only dorm and it was clean and organized. It had an en suite bathroom and a water heater for a hot shower when needed. Beds were comfortable and easy to get up into the top bunk. Good air conditioning.

Really nice hostile out of the way from the busy area but easy enough for a short walk to some cafés and restaurants and to get into the main attractions, nice kitchen area and chill area with sofas and TV

Super clean and super nice hostel! Almost like a nice hotel. The owner is so friendly and kind, 10/10 service. Definitely recommend

Very clean hostel in a decent location, with lovely staff. Had a great tour of Kandy organised through the hostel with our tour guide Ish.
