Omotenashi Hostel Miyajima

Best hostel I’ve ever stayed in, felt more like a hotel and the hosts are absolutely lovely. Couldn’t recommend a place more. Very close to a tram line so no issues getting there and it’s 2 stops away from the ferry to miyajima.

Nice hostel with really nice people working there. I met some nice people but I didn't saw many people here. It is far away feom the memorial park but pretty close to the ferry to the shrine

Personale squisito, gentile, sorridente, competente. Ottima colazione: si paga a parte ma il rapporto costo qualità è positivo. Ottima posizione vicinissima alla fermata del tram 2 linea rossa che in dieci minuti porta agli imbarchi per Miyajima. Vicino anche alla fermata del treno elettrico JR Sanyo. Roof da cui vedere l'alba sul mare. Ero l'unica occidentale, anzi l'unica straniera (fatto apprezzabilissimo dal mio punto di vista); non ho capito se alcune famiglie ci vivano. Consigliato.

Omotenashi is in an excellent location (3 stops away from Miyajima) and the staff are welcoming as soon as you walk through the door. There are a selection of free amenities and the manga/games/drinks in the social area provide ample opportunities to just hang around or socialise with other travellers during a period of downtime.

I really loved this hostel! A hidden gem as I wasn't sure what to expect and I really did love it. The rooms give more privacy than most and the food was very good/affordable.

Amazing stay! Staff so friendly and such a clean hostel with great amenities. Really clean and safe. Had such a wonderful stay. People chilling in the common area and bar making it a nice atmosphere too. Also it’s located near the port to mijyama which is cheaper than the ferry from Hiroshima so works out well

This hostel is pretty nice! The location is only good if you're interested in taking the ferry to Miyajima Island. There isn't much around it and it's pretty far from city centre. The female showers are clean. The toilets both mixed and female were not very clean. The beds are comfy and dividers to make each bed a separate room is nice but if you are on the side of the building by the road it is very loud at night. Also the street lights shine right through the windows at night as well.

One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was spotless, and the staff were incredibly kind and willing to help at any time. There’s a station about 7 minutes walking distance, as well as some restaurants near by, though I just ate at the hostel most of the time (their menu has a great variety of items and the food was delicious!) I would 100% stay here again. Thank you Omotenashi Hostel for a wonderful, peaceful stay!

The staff were amazing and the family room was adorable! Highly recommend!

Fancy hostel, good services and prices, very confortable, nice stpot to meet travelers and go to the Island.

Este hostel NO está en la isla, por tanto estás obligado a coger el último ferry. Por lo demás estás un hostel correcto a nivel de limpieza y sevicios.

Nice place. A bit tricky to get to from Hiroshima, requiring at least one transfer to get anywhere. Staff were super nice, and I pace was clean

+ nearby tram station (with fairly cheap rates) + 6 minutes by tram to the ferry to Miyajima + 50 minutes by tram to downtown Hiroshima + newly renovated bathrooms + kind english speaking staff + single beds instead of bunk beads available + - no supermarket/conbini nearby (in-house store on site). - noisy roommates Unfortunately I had roommates who were not exactly clean and quiet, but the hostel can't do anything about that.
