Youth Hostel Anna

This is the most basic place you will ever stay. They don’t have access to drinking water you have to walk 5-10mins down the road everyday to buy water. The dorms are right on the main road so anyone could walk in off the street which didn’t feel safe. It’s also so far away from everything in Santorini so getting around was really expensive after the busses had finished. (Taxis were €45+). It also just had the strangest vibe to it, not very social at all no real common areas, wouldn’t ...

Very noisy. It was a hostel where I felt a little uncomfortable, since the other travelers did not respect the coexistence in the room.

Ok hostel for the price. you get what you pay for. Staff is friendly and helpful. The hostel's only common space is literally right beside a road, so that doesn't make it ideal. But Santorini is an expensive island to visit and this is probably some of the best you can get in this price range

Showers and washroom areas were pretty small, and not cleaned

Based on the amount you pay I would just expect a lot more. The room was ok - bed was comfy but it faces out to a main road which brings a lot of light in. The bathrooms are nice enough. The staff were nice. There was a kitchen in the basement which I decided not to use and the living area was a block of seats/tables right outside of four rooms (including mine) so if people decided to stay up later you are probably going to as well.

Nice hostel, good people. Not the greatest facilities (old beds, small rooms, they make you put on the sheets yourself, only salt water from the tap, etc.) A cool place to stay for a few nights filled with fun travelers. I don’t know why they have a picture of a pool but they don’t have one.

Hostel is just ok. If your plan is just go to the beach, then location is great. If you plan to visit other towns like Pyrgos, Thira or Oia then you will have to deal with public transport which is not the most convenient (buses only come every hour, and are not very punctual). No easy way to get there also from the port or airport unless, of course, you have your own transport.

We loved it here it was right on the beach and the staff were super nice. The showers were clean and a good size and the kitchen was fully stocked!

Very basic place, nice and close to Perissa beach but a mission to get to Oia. Always kept beautifully clean. Unfortunately had food stolen from the fridge and freezer so wouldn’t recommend putting anything in there if you can avoid it.

Was an alright hostel, just a bit far away from the main town which made it a bit difficult especially when buses were not frequent

Lovely little hostel. On quite a busy road but rooms quiet enough. Helpful staff and moved me to the best available room which was a nice touch. Around a 10 minute walk from the beach, right next to a market and some small bars/restaurants. Large lockers available in rooms and a luggage room next to reception for use after check out - no lock but felt secure enough.

It was a nice place and its location is also excellent for those who like to be close to the beaches. Overall, I enjoyed the trip there.

It was clean! It was next to the busy road so it was noisy. Overall not much to complain about, pretty simple hostel.

This hostel was great. Out of the way, and by the beach just how I like it. The buses in Santorini are quite expensive, so definitely take that into consideration while staying so far from Oia and Faro, but I prefer the quietness and locals. Hostel ambiance was great, updated, showers in the girls only room and toilets.

Extremely clean, lovely staff. Next door to restaurants, supermarket and bus stop. Beach is only 5 minute walk. Only slight negative is that the baggage room is not locked, however there are good locks in the rooms on your cabinet so can keep valuables in there. Had a very enjoyable stay here and felt safe as a solo female.

Lovely workers! So helpful, they recommended the boat tour which was the highlight of Santorini for my friend & I. Also helped us get a taxi when we missed the bus for our ferry! Big thank you :) Rooms are quite nice & spacious, lockers are pretty big. Air con was great. Showers were salt water so just took a bit to get used to but not that bad! Location was good & felt very safe here too. Overall really enjoyed the facilities here, would recommend.

Le dortoir est confortable et il y a la Clim. En revanche, si vous souhaitez rencontrer des gens passez votre chemin. L’hostel est très calme pour faire attention au voisinage et donc n’organise rien pour les gens accueillis. Cela reste un bon rapport qualité prix :)

My stay at Youth Hostel Anna was awesome! The atmosphere is very nice and the service is great! The two sisters who run the hostel are very kind and are always willing to help. I recommend this hostel 100%.

This was the perfect location in Santorini. So close to Perissa beach, with many restaurants and food shops nearby. And then just a short bus ride to Fira which is the perfect spot to watch the sunset or party all night! Super easy to meet other people in the hostel. There was no curtains on the beds, which was not ideal and the doors were never locked. I didn’t feel unsafe, but if you prefer your doors to be locked every night, that doesn’t happen here. Overall loved it, great experience...

Great value for money for Santorini prices. Showers and facilities not super clean. Perissa hard to reach from the airport or port (have to change two buses which pass every hour), Uber is 35€. Anna the owner was super helpful and nice!
