El bar pegado al hostel esta bueno, la cocina del hostel también, las habitaciones son precarias, la mujer de recepción tiene malos tratos al igual que la gente del bar, es muy lejos de Oia y la playa cerca no es linda.

I would NOT recommend this hostel. Our room looked nothing like the pictures, the water in the tap came out black, the AC in our room did not work the entire time, and the wifi only worked in certain areas. Honestly the beds were okay, the bathroom was disgusting, I didn’t even shower bc it was so gross. The staff weren’t honestly that friendly, not very talkative etc. It’s close to the beach and a bar which was nice! The rooms also had a weird smell

Place is very close the beach. Staff seem to be polite and accommodating. Also met some lovely fellow guests here. Some were not so nice.

The bathrooms were terrible. Mold everywhere in the shower, easily could replace the moldy shower curtain but seemed too cheap, shower head was broken. Pictures are misleading as it’s displayed to be a cute vibe but it was not well kept and if I could rate it lower in those areas I would.

My shower was salt water, the AC was broke, and the internet was down. The rooms and grounds are shabby. I’ve been in much nicer hostels for cheaper.

La habitación amplia y limpia pero la ducha no funcionaba bien, muchas veces no salió agua caliente y la presión de agua es mínima. El wifi se cae en múltiples ocasiones.

This hostel is good for a quick stay, Jeffrey was really friendly and checked us in. The whole place is pretty old and knackered, the shower wasn’t even attached to the wall and dribbled out water and the bed had about 10 slats so wasn’t the comfiest 4 nights but the location was pretty ideal. The hostel itself wasn’t at all social, that could be because it’s not the right season though.

Sort out the hot water!! Solar power is great but they really need to get a back up system for when the sun isn't out. Several guests left when we were staying there, and moved to similar priced accommodation in Perissa where they could have a proper shower. Apart from that the facilities, rooms and Tranquillo restaurant next door are good. Location is right on the beach. It's better to have a vehicle if you want to explore the rest of Santorini as the busses are infrequent.

We had the best time at Utopia! Poppy was so so lovely and the atmosphere was gorgeous by the beach and in the shade in the common spaces. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and the hostel is very close to the beach and to bus stops to get into the main town. Our room were clean and comfortable!

Very beautiful place located in the best part of Santorini. Poppy very nice person and very kind. Cats are the landlords of the hostel and if you like to be around them they are there and you could see them inside your room if you keep the balcony doors open which super cool. The Tranquilo restaurant is up front with vegan and vegetarian options is very delicious and good. Over all I loved the place and the stuff are all very good people.

Poppy and the team working at Tranquilo are AMAZING. They truely make the experience. This hostel is a MUST stay if visiting Santorini. Have never felt so at home when on the other side of the world and wish i could’ve stayed longer

Muy buen hostel, muy buena energia, cerca de la playa y de buenas vistas ademas de las actividades que uno puede encontrar como clases de yoga y mas cosas.

Posizione strategica vicino al mare e spiaggia con lettini inclusi, ho trovato anche diversi servizi attorno, mi è piaciuta molto l'atmosfera e l'accoglienza dei gestori, è un luogo dove fare sicuramente conoscenze interessanti, pulizia eccellente, possibilità di cucinare, frigo in camera e frigo grande in comune. Anche in bassa stagione si è dimostrato all'altezza di una vacanza serena , grazie anche a tempo e temperature molto favorevoli. Attrae persone in linea con questo modo di vedere.

The place is fantastic, is in Perissia beach, the atmofear in the night is beautiful, you have a lot of restaurants and shops. The hostel makes you forget stress, personal is so nice, they have the Tranquilo bar where you can have really good food. The reception is not 24h. They give you also chairs for the beach. It was nice to find a place that reminded me of the simple hostels in Colombia. Very good atmosphere and right in front of the beach. However, at check-in I had issues with the cleanliness of the room — the bathroom hadn’t been properly cleaned. The hostel staff apologized, but did nothing further. I found this insufficient since cleanliness is extremely important. It was a bit disappointing that they did not offer any kind of compensation.

Great hostel, very welcoming staff, amazing location.

Our host at Utopia was so lovely! We had great conversations with the staff, and they were so kind in accommodating our needs, even when there had been a last minute miscommunication that really required a lot! My mom found herself with limited mobility on our trip and they made it work! Also, the restaurant attached to the hostel, Tranquilo, was one of the highlights of our whole trip!

Such a great stay at Utopia! Rooms cleaned everyday so the bathroom was always nice and floors free of dirt/ sand. The staff were so helpful and kind. The outdoor area was the best for sitting down to eat dinner/ play games and meet lots of new people. They also give you a free drink at Tranquilo restaurant when you arrive plus 1 euro off everything you order there. The best part was the free sunbeds/ umbrella on the beach each day too. The bathing water is very salty and not clean but the hostel overall was very good and pretty! Amazing location.

This was my first ever hostel, and I have to say I got really lucky, I met the best people here and the kindest staff who offered me a welcome drink. The rooms were clean, the bathroom was better than I expected, and the hang out spot outside the hostel was amazing as well. If I ever come back to Santorini, Utopia would definitely be my first choice.

Really cute hostel! Seems far but easy to catch bus into Fira and from there Oia. Such a great vibe, and my friend and I wish we had stayed longer cause it was just so nice! Perfect for a relaxed trip away on Santorini. 100% recommend

You definitely get what you pay for in terms of being €22 a night (not the best bed, not super clean, very no frills) BUT! The staff is so so friendly between both Utopia and Tranquilo, and it is right on the beach! Really colorful and cats!

It was a nice place to stay. My only issue was the water was salt water and that was not made aware until arriving.

We were very surprised about the high rating of this hostel during our 4 day stay. The Wi-Fi didn't reach our room or common areas, no way to dry dishes so they just piled up and were never cleared. Our shower and sink were salt water, and the shower head was 90% blocked from the minerals. The description that this is one of the oldest building is the area is just that, an old building with rickety doors and leaking taps etc. Nice and close to the beach and the staff were lovely.
