Tarifa Kite Hostel

Terrible experience. Guests played music in a shared room and had loud conversations all night. They (men) kept opening my curtains (I am a woman) during the night. Dirty, full of mosquitos, etc. I left after one night.

I honestly was so disappointed, was not worth €5 a night. There were so many rules it was like a prison eg. You could not use the kitchen at most key points during the day, this is not on, I’m not asking to cook in the night just during the day when I am hungry. I have photos of the bed bugs splatted on the bed, the owner proceeded to lecture me on how he was a biologist and that it wasn’t bed bugs; however my friend I am a General Practitioner and this was 100% them. Don't go to this s*******!! Looks amazing in pics but in reality isn't like that. Super dirty, the bunk bed I stayed in had crumbs and dust. Dull environment, no atmosphere. At night they turn off the lights in the common areas. At certain times they don't allow you to even take a fork from the kitchen to eat your own food. the owner is a complete d******, he insulted me and some other people because we were eating a salad in the garden, madness! I ended up cancelling my stay and went to Ohan...

I deeply recommend you to not go to this hostel!! The manager of the hostel was so rude. He didn’t aloud me to eat the food I bought from the supermarket in the area of the hostel because he said the kitchen is closed (which I didn’t used at all!) When I was trying to understand why, he got pised and told me to leave the hostel. I felt really bad because of him! Baside that the pictures not represent the truth. the shower is not working well, the toilet doesn’t flashed for few ...

Está bien ubicado pero sus camas son incómodas y colchones ,no tienen ventilación y se siente mucho con el calor de estas fechas . La limpieza no está bien organizada,mucha gente para tan pocos baños que no los mantienen limpios el resto del día . Una bolsa con alimentos frescos desapareció . Nadie se hizo cargo .Para cobrarme más caro el día domingo deja mucho que desear .y tener que estar si o si tres días como mínimo .

Very poor ventilation in the rooms.

the hostel staff was very friendly, no complaints with them. several bathroom locks were broken so you could not shower comfortably. the showers have terrible water pressure, barely any water drips out. i found so many spiders and mosquitos in my bed. the room doors do not lock at all, and they do not give you any key. the outside door is always wide open (there’s a code, but it was always unlocked anyways) so anyone could walk right through to my room easily. not worth the money at all sadly!

Heel makkelijk om mensen te ontmoeten dus als je een sociaal hostel zoekt is dit helemaal top. Locatie is super vlak naast oude stadje, tuin is chill. Kitelessen kan je makkelijk regelen vanuit hostel. Vond hygiëne van badkamers echt ondermaats, altijd smerig, wc brillen zitten los/zijn vergeeld. Van bedden zijn meerdere matrassen doorgezakt, flinke kuil erin. Verder heel luidruchtig, zat een deur in onze kamer die over de grond sleepte steeds wanneer ie werd geopend.

They told me they took 30% of the price before i arrive, and I must pay the rest when I arrive. This is fine with me. When I asked before-hand if I could still change the date when I leave, they after few minutes charged the whole payment from my account without asking me. Seriously not cool. Great location. short 10 min. walk to the ferry to Tangier. lg facilitys, kitchen, dining area reading area lg. has 2 roof terraces, 2 small issues with bedroom. no curtains on end of bed, but easily solved with hanging sheet. no bed lights. storage under bed super size. shared bathrooms, only 2 on main floor with possible 12 or more people using. plus available to all activities on the main floor.not sure on 2nd floor how many b.r. nice ourdoor grassy area with seating. on main road, so traffic

Overall nice but the staff could have been friendlier and more helpful (had to find out on my own where the bathrooms were and that there was a rooftop) and it’s quite annoying that they have kitchen breaks where you are not allowed to use the facilities (not even a plate). I get the concept but the breaks are very long and at unpractical times. I think there might be a better solution. But all in all still a decent hostel.

Lage und Ausstattung ist top. Mitarbeiter kommt drauf an wer gerade an der Rezeption ist damit man gute Infos bekommt. Wer gerne surfen geht, go for it. Netzwerk ist stark auf die Community ausgelegt.

8.5/10 this hostel is unique because it is really for kite surfing travelers. You can rent gear or pay to take lessons to kite surf which was cool to learn about. This hostel is in a great location walking distance to all restaurants and bars and 10 minutes to the beach. Rooms and bathrooms were clean but rooms were kind of crowded and I did not have much privacy. Big kitchen to eat and meet people and also laundry for only $5. I would stay here again for sure.

If you are into: - Beach and Water Sports - Social and openminded People - clean Room and Bathrooms - big Locker for your stuff - a five minute walk to the beach Then I definitely recommend you to go to this Hostel!! It was just a great experience for me and the Team makes you feel totally welcomed

It was a great place with great people. Amazing for people who enjoy kite surfing

Un lugar mágico para relajarte y conocer gente de todo el mundo . A las puerta del centro de tarifa y a 100 metros de la playa. Y los trabajadores te hacen sentir como en casa

Ottima posizione, staff molto attento e gentile. Le docce da rivedere scendevano con il contagocce e lavarsi i capelli (avendo i capelli lunghi) é stata un impresa!! Per il resto tutto bene!!

Então, para começar, fizemos a reserva e quando lá chegamos não sabiam da nossa reserva, ao qual nos meteram num quarto de 8 beliches quando nos reservamos um de 6, e meteram-nos em camas que estavam reservadas para outras pessoas. Para além disso, estava a dormir quando um senhor da receção me abriu a cortina e me acordou, pois como já dito, as camas estavam reservadas para outra pessoa. Para além destes problemas todos, não nos deixaram utilizar a cozinha depois do check out.

Staff super friendly and helpful. Decent price to do laundry and lots of clothes lines on the roof to hang your clothes to dry (just don’t forget about them before leaving..). Definitely a “kiter” hostel true to the name so be aware, BUT super clean, modern, beautiful place to stay in close proximity to old town even if you aren’t soaring high above the waves on your board.
