+ I really liked the people here since it was a homestay, not just a hotel, and it felt more like home. The bed was clean, and I was traveling with my girl who is very particular about cleanliness. She was happy to see that the bathroom and toilet were clean, which made both of us comfortable. We stayed for 2 nights. Our booking was from Friday to Sunday, but our train arrived late at night, so we checked in around 12:30 AM on Saturday. We paid a small amount in advance and the rest at checkout. When we were leaving, we asked if we could stay until 3 PM on Sunday as we had nowhere else to go, and they kindly allowed it since no other guest was expected. They also have scooty, bikes, and maybe even a car for rent, but I wasn’t aware of it at first. Later they suggested we could have rented one, but we didn’t ask in the beginning, which was our small mistake. The place is a little outside the city, but it’s quiet and peaceful. Overall, it was a very good experience and definitely value for money. I would recommend it to future guests.

+ One of the more basic hotels I stayed at, but it was clean, hot water, and a fantastic history family. That is what made this place a real winner. Lucky was a terrific host and does superb tours.

- Nothing. Take it for what it is and you will get a real sense of Indian culture. Superb.

Staff were polite, helpful, and always smiling. The chai was delicious, and the overall ambiance was relaxing. Great location and excellent service. Totally worth the moneyhighly recommended

+ You arrive as tourist, leave as family. Everything about this place was good, comfortable, and pleasant. Exceptional for the price. Wish I could have stayed longer.

- Note to foreign travelers: the WiFi is very spotty, so don’t expect to use your laptop. (This isn’t the fault of the hostel, it’s just a citywide thing).
