Indah Homestay & Cooking Class

We booked for one night because of the cooking class advertised in the title. Check-in was listed as 11:00. We arrived at 11:40 and were told the room was not ready, with previous guests still inside and the room needing cleaning. When we asked about the cooking class, we were told it was separate and not available during our stay, which was disappointing as this was the main reason we booked. Staff were not accommodating, and due to the room delay and misleading listing, we decided not to stay.

To sum the hostel up: Very quiet, dull rooms, no hot water, mediocre breakfast but sweet staff ready to help. Personally we didn’t really like Senggigi in general. Not much to do or see.

Basic accomodation but okay for a short stay. There is a 2 minute walk to the entrance that can only be used by bikes or pedestrians, which is worth noting when you are trying to find it, but does mean you are away from the noise of the main road. Staff and owner were helpful and friendly.

I had an amazing stay here! Simply cannot recommend enough. I was given a free upgrade to the deluxe private room and it was so spacious, comfortable and the bathrooms while odd they are outside, are clean and private. I spent a day with Fitri on the home cooking class and I think it was my best experience in indonesia. She was so helpful and we made some really tasty food together all from scratch. It’s a really quiet peaceful spot so if you want more social vibes than maybe not for you.

Great location near the beach and main road. Staff were helpful and even went out to get me dinner when I arrived late at night. Only negative is that the room was very hot making it difficult to sleep at night.

Ik vond het een hele leuke plek in al dat groen! Ik vond het alleen wel een naar gevoel dat de douches open waren vanaf de bovenkant. Er kon misschien niemand kijken maar alsnog voelde ik me niet echt op mijn gemak.

Had a nice stay at this home stay. The hosts were really kind and helpful. Scooter rental is cheap and reliable. They helped me also booking the Rinjani tour and the trip to Bali. Only thing; the rooms don’t have AC.. so it’s getting pretty warm at night and I couldn’t sleep that well.. also some rooms don’t have warm water. But I was Upgraded to another room with warm water since it was free that night.

The owners and staff were lovely, they had great breakfast and a nice restaurant. They do cooking classes which looked good but we didn’t have time to do. The only bad thing was that the town was very quiet but we did go during Ramadan. There was no air con but for the price it was expected. Overall it was a really nice place.

Lovely Homestay. Suzanne was very helpful and kind - organising transport for the next day, even late at night. The garden is also beautiful and nice to relax in.

Nice central location tucked in a local neighborhood off the main road so was nice and peaceful at night. The owners lock the gate at night which makes it feel even more safe which we liked. For the price, the room was great, private and comfortable and a good base to explore the area.

good place to relax and chill.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They let me check in early and also made a packed breakfast for me to take away as I had to check out very early too in the morning. The room was very clean and tidy, power outlets on both sides of the bed. Clean toilet and shower with hot water. The only suggestion would be to add a hook for hanging up your towel in the bathroom. The wifi was good in the common areas and outside the room on the balcony. It was patchy inside the room

On a été super bien accueillis, l'endroit est très agréable, on y mange bien. Par contre il n'y a pas beaucoup d'activités à faire aux alentours il est important d'avoir de quoi se déplacer.

Really nice stay. The outdoor bathroom is nice. Tasty breakfast in the terraced garden. Loved the cooking course! The best meal I've had in Indonesia!

Notre coup de cœur à Lombok. Home stay hyper bien placé, au calme, intimité et confort au rdv. La chambre était top, salle de bain pratique (pas d’eau chaude mais pas dérangeant vu la chaleur). Le cours de cuisine avec Fitri et sa sœur Nour était génial, nous avons passé un excellent moment et les plats étaient délicieux. Le personnel est vraiment accueillant, à l’écoute et arrangeant. Merci pour tout, on espère revenir un jour !!

My favourite homestay to date in Lombok. If the peaceful garden and clean, breezy rooms weren't enough--Suzanne upgraded my room because I booked in slow season. I took the cooking class the next morning and again, cannot recommend enough. What a beautiful property--and what a memorable experience. Thanks to the whole team!

A nice green place to chill out. Good breakfast and nice staff. Access to the hostel is narrow and can’t get the car there. Bike is convenient. Showers/ bathrooms are partially open and don’t have enough privacy. No AC and it didn’t matter as the weather wasn’t bad.

Sitio acogedor y tranquilo. Las habitaciones están muy bien son privadas.pero lo mejor el staff y su propietaria. Son geniales, nos ayudaron y nos hicieron la vida más fácil. Muchas gracias!!!!?

Heel fijn verblijf en de eigenaresse is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam, mooie buitenbadkamer en fijn bed. Alleen 's nachts een beetje warm door het ontbreken van een airco maar de ventilator doet zijn werk ook wel een beetje en logisch qua prijs! Lekker ontbijtje en vriendelijk personeel.

Das Homestay liegt etwas abgelegen von der Hauptstraße, hat dafür aber einen sehr entspannten, charmanten Vibe. Das Personal ist wunderbar herzlich, die Zimmer sind sauber. Ich war zweimal für eine Nacht dort und konnte mich jedes Mal gut erholen. Das einzige was fehlt: ein Pool zur Abkühlung
