Whistler Lodge Hostel

Overall a solid place to stay! Was slightly disappointed with the bathrooms that had moldy ceilings as well a the moldy shower curtains which weren't very private, but the hostel wasn't super busy so it didn't bother me. Staff was super kind when we arrived and they gave us a full tour of the premises which was very nice! It was a bit freezing in the dorms at night, but the bunks heat up fairly quickly when the curtains are closed!

Great place with lots of hangout spaces! Bed in dorm was a great size, comfortable and good lighting. The kitchen is super organized for food storage and cooking and waste. Code for the door so need to worry about keys. They have a bbq you can use. Only downside is the storage lockers (which they supply a lock for ) is on the upper floor and I was in the basement dorm rooms. There is a cubby and hooks assigned beside the bed though. Great place!

The receptionist was very unfriendly with check in, we were not allowed to use the shower or kitchen. She seemed not in a mood to help us out. It was a big difference with the girl two days before check in, when we were allowed to store our luggage for 2 nights because of backcountry camping. Shower smelled if we were in a swimming pool. Beds are nice and you can close your bed with the curtain. Location is far out of city center so you need a bike or car to get somewhere.

Lovely place to stay for a few nights. Clean and quiet rooms which was ideal!

Really great place to stay in. You can get to the main village by foot, just 20 minutes or so. A lot of long stay people who know each other that can make it hard to socialise when you're shy but the place is lovely and would recommend it a 100%.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The only downside was the location of the hostel part of the way up the hill. That was the only draw back. It felt like you were staying in someone’s home, rather than a hostel. The privacy of the beds was excellent, kitchen facilities were great and the storage space for my bike was top notch.

Lovely property, close to bus, friendly staff

This hostel was in a beautiful location close to bus stops and walkable to Creekside and whistler village. The kitchen and common area were large and well equipped. The rooms had clean comfy beds but no storage so bags have to be kept in a room above reception. The bathrooms are also in a different part of the house to to the dorms. For me, security was not great, but that's about risk tolerance I guess.

This is the best Hostel I’ve stayed in in Canada. Everything is clean and the beds are compfy and have privacy curtains. This hostel has a lot of charm and the vibe here is amazing. Everyone is so welcoming and the staff members Felix and Linnea are awesome, super friendly and they can help you with anything. The common areas are open and great to meet new people especially if you’re solo travelling. And they have a pool table. I only wanted to stay a couple nights but that turned into a wee...

Great hostel that you can walk 3km to whistler along the cycle path, great showers, comfy beds and very spacious! 100% would stay again!

Whistler Lodge Hostel is amazing!! It’s very clean and organized, the staff are friendly and helpful, it has everything you could need amenities-wise, the kitchen is quite nice, and the bunk beds are the best I’ve ever experienced! The location is just a bit out of Whistler Village so it’s quiet, but not too far and very close to a bus stop. It’s such a good price for what you get, especially in Whistler, and I will definitely keep recommending and going back!! :D

Sehr schönes Hostel! Nur 40 Leute können hier übernachten, das macht es persönlicher. Man kann sein Bett mit Vorhängen schließen und die Badezimmer sind okay. Großer Aufenthaltsraum und Küche. Kann man super empfehlen, grade wenn man mit einem Auto unterwegs ist.

It was my first time at this hostel and it was excellent. The facility is great and the sleeping quarters were cozy. Love the location! Thanks to Karo and Remi for stellar customer service and a very welcoming affect.
