Worst place to stay

La chambre double individuelle est minuscule et sans espace de rangement. Le lit est en 140cm. Le sol et le matelas n’etaient pas propres. La télécommande de la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas. Tout est extrêmement sale : salle de bain WC cuisine espaces communs. Il y a des cafards a l’interieur. Aucune isolation sonore, c’est extremement bruyant. Pour le prix payé c’est clairement du vol. Seul point positif. : la jeune fille a l’accueil et charmante et serviable merci a elle.

Absolutely filthy. Stains on the walls. Dust, dirt, and literally ants walking around in my room. Washroom was fine. The girl at the desk was helpful. Hostel is very loud

Not social and small, ugly rooms, so overall the atmosphere was kind of uneasy. Location and cleanliness were alright, not great though. No towel left for me to rent, no possibility to charge my phone at the bed. Staff was nice.

It’s not the worst and definitely sth you can go but be aware: there are a lot of long term guests, many over 30yrs, clearly more men than woman. Also they give free drinks for good reviews so I would assume real rating would be way lower. Didn’t hate it but definitely woundnt go again.

I had a great time there until the person who cleaned the fridge throw away my bag of food which has a container that I really care about..and really annoyed me (the bag had a label on it). Next time just be careful on what you throw away and open the bag before. Thank you. Otherwise thank you to Summer who was very nice :)

Overall we did not enjoy our stay and did not think the private room was good value for money. - Room very modest, nowhere to hang your stuff. Bathrooms very dirty (mold in the shower, bugs on the floor, human feces on the wall and pee on the floor). No insulation in the room, we could clearly hear the other guests and it made our stay uncomfortable. + Room had AC and the kitchen was well equipped

Internet slow The rooms really dirty… I think is more fault of the people that stayed but they can tell them something like don’t bring food inside the room… The room smell really bad and a mot of fly at the kitchen… The price is cheap but I think is better ti pay a little bit more to a better place

Not good hostel, the guy is nice to women but if you are a man he treats you like sh*t The kitchen is small and dirty They charge you 10$ if you loose your fork The wifi is the worst i've seen in an hostel The pool doesn't even works and is a big s*am Just don't go there

I was only staying very briefly on my way through brisbane but found it very convenient fir Roma St station (10 min walk) and close to Croxton Street fir food and a drink. Friendly staff and comfortable bed

Nice & cozy not the cleanest but nice staff

There was no Wi-Fi at the hotel. It wouldn't connect at all. I desperately needed internet for a reservation the next day. I asked the receptionist to do something to restore the Wi-Fi, but he only said there wouldn't be any today. He said I could go look for working Wi-Fi somewhere. I was very tired after a hard day, but I had to go to a neighboring hostel and ask for Wi-Fi there. I wouldn't have booked there if I'd known there was no Wi-Fi.

It's an alright hostel. The private rooms are very small, there is nothing in the room besides the bed, so nowhere to put your stuff, everything has to be on the floor. The common bathrooms are alright, but they feel a bit run down and dirty. The kitchen was very dirty when we were there. The staff is very friendly, Callum was super kind and helpful.

Chill place, and the friendliest people. Shout out to Summer and Calum!

Overall a good stay. Premises are clean, people are friendly. The wifi was a little wonky and it can be a little noisy at times, but overall a nice stay for what you’re paying. Just be mindful of the night and day math cause ended up costing me a little more than I had expected. Would recommend 👍🏻

The staff were absolutely lovely and so helpful, and the hostel is good value for money with good communal spaces and kitchenware provided for everyone. However, the shower on the right hand side of the building is terrible, it’s basically a dribble of water, and the rooms are not sound insulated at all and the beds feel cheap and creaky - I slept pretty poorly even with earplugs in. Overall, it’s decent for what it is - the staff really make it, without them I’d be rating a lot lower.

Rooms were spacious and air-conned. Lots of long stayers. Not a huge dining/kitchen area and the fridges and kitchen smelled pretty bad, grubby. The showers were also definitely not cleaned every day which was a bit gross. Location is not the best, but if you’re on a budget it’s cool!

Beautiful place to stay in and enjoy.

It was an absolutely amazing experience and I’m so thankful for all the staff. I’ve stayed in many hostels in Australia but this for sure has been my favourite. For it being a small hostel I think this makes it better as you can make more connections. I came by myself and formed a big group and now I have life long friends. Bingo night and trivia night is the highlight for me. The tv room is undefeated. Summer was an amazing worker, her service and rapport was amazing. I will miss everyone

Extended our stay here for 4 more weeks ans loved it. Staff were really friendly and easy to chat to, the atmosphere was really fun too. Would definitely recommend to anyone coming through Brisbane.
