+ No staff room was cold absolute shocking will nevr recommend or stay there again.

+ The location was ideal for us previously stayed here. The check in staff was lovely she was helpful, there was a guy on the Friday night staff that also was very helpful.
- Staff did not communicate that rooms had to request cleaning, the cleaning crew only empty bins and you have to get towels and toilet paper from the reception. This is fine if you are told. We requested a room clean on the Thursday night for Friday and no one came, I spoke to reception on the Friday evening he took a note and noone came the Friday, I spoke to reception on Saturday morning they said they would tell the cleaning team and still noone came. I then spoke to the reception on Saturday evening the girl said there was nothing that was going to be done, if I wanted towels and toilet roll to come back and speak to a manager, and if the bins were that bad she would give me a bag to sort it myself. I requested a manager and none was on site, the room was freezing with no working heater and when speaking to the staff we had booked an early check in the room wasn't ready and when we finally got in she moved our early check in to a late check out this was not on the system and noone knew so until I spoke to the reception on the Sunday check out they weren't aware. No manager was on site and one girl told us they didn't have one. The way staff spoke to guests and didn't care was appalling I will never be back to this place it has went seriously down hill since Hilton gave it over. Disgusting place smelt horrible and the room wasn't clean for us entering I don't even think they changed the beds.

- We stayed with two children on arrival my child came to me with a round circular tablet he had found on the floor
+ The only thing I liked was leaving! This hostel was listed as a hotel for starters which we would never have booked if we would have known!
- Everything! It smelt like sewers as soon as you walk in, the reception staff was rude and unhelpful. The tv didn’t work, the carpets were dirty. The one pillow that was provided was horrible and flat. The windows were dirty. The room was very cold. The tiles in the bathroom were moldy. No water/kettle/cups in the room. Bath leaked. Toilet blocked as soon as it was used and when spoke to reception about all of this was told maintenance wasn’t available till the next day. The breakfast was horrible. Not much there and what was seemed like the cheapest of everything. The hash browns tasted like they had been in the freezer for years and then over cooked! Again staff wasn’t helpful and looked like they didn’t want to be there! Nothing was being replaced unless asked by customers, cutlery-bread ect. Woken up by workmen drilling at 9am on a Saturday morning. We was meant to stay for 2 nights but left after 1 as it was just not a nice place to stay. No manager works on the weekends so we was unable to get any help with our situation. We stayed here years ago when it was a Hilton which was amazing. I can see past reviews on this page that are still from when it was a Hilton which are also very misleading. Any way that this company can do things on the cheap they will do!

- These people who run this place and also the customer care are a total joke. To let people know also that this is also a HOSTEL WITH SOME REALLY DODGY PEOPLE, one guy blew smoke in my face and became aggressive. It took half a day to deliver a small heater because the heating didn’t work (this was a reoccurring problem for many). I complained and after 6 weeks they replied and offered a small refund. I never received it 2 weeks later. I’ve messaged and threatened now go to the paper and share about the Hostel with a picture of the aggressive Middle Eastern guy. Don’t go. It’s the staff and management who are a problem, not the place. I met another couple who used to go when it was the Hilton. They said it has really gone down hill. The breakfast is disgusting and cheap! They may regret not giving me that £35!

The room was okay, it was clean and I had a nice view from my room. For the price, it’s decent, but I would only recommend it for a short or emergency stay. The facilities are nice; however, there is no kitchen, so you can’t cook or even heat up your food. I asked a staff member if I could use the restaurant microwave to heat my food, but she replied quite dismissively and said no.
the hostel itself was like a hotel so the facilities and beds were really nice and comfortable. the most convenient tube station was accessible by ferry, which was complementary with the stay so it was an unique experience. however, the storage areas did not have locks so it felt slightly unsafe leaving valuables in the room. also the split of the room was unbalanced with 1 person getting a private queen sized bed and the other 3 people needing to share a space with single and sofa beds
This place is not really like a hostel. There’s no secure place to store my bag, which makes me feel unsafe, and there’s also nowhere to heat my food. At the restaurant, they told me it’s only accessible for members because there is a private club.

- The heating was not working in the room. After we asked the staff to do something about it, they provided us with a heater. It was fine when we were in the room; however, when we went out, it was switched off, and we returned to a cold room.

+ Het uitzicht op het water was echt fantastisch! Personeel was ook zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We hadden een prachtige kamer gekregen wat boven mijn verwachting was.
- Enige minpunt was dat de kamer wat was verouderd. Je moest staand in bad douchen, en we hadden wat probleempjes met de airco en verwarming. Toen we de kamer binnenkwamen zat er nog wat viezigheid in de wasbak en het bad.

- Waited an hour to check in as only 1 staff member on reception on a Saturday night? Got to the lady and she wasn’t very welcoming , finally got a room and it hadn’t even been cleaned yet , bed all over the floor and rubbish and hair everywhere, went back down to reception and asked for a new room and she kept telling me it had been cleaned ( I should have taken pictures in all fairness) , she then gave us a different room and it was ok
