The host is friendly, but there are some important things to consider. My booking was downgraded without prior notice. The shared showers are cold, and there was mold on the bedroom walls. There is a lot of loud noise from a Church and from the street, ear plugs must be used to rest during the day and in the evening. Also, a cat and two dogs roam freely and may enter the room if windows are left open, which could be an issue for guests with allergies.

I went there and my reservation wasn’t there they said they no longer are with Hostelwold but I had the reservation. It was already 4pm after a long day of Traveling and I had to wait. When I got to my room the bathroom was dirty and there were stains on the sheet. Would not recommend

Personnel peu acceuillant, chambres très sales, toilettes insalubres, les araignées possèdent notre chambre, malgré que l'ambiance et la beauté de l'endroit étaient au rendez-vous

L’Hostel ELOA, est un super endroit, vraiment cosy et très conforme aux photos. Le personnel était adorable et nous a donné pleins de tips sur la ville et les activités à faire. Très beau séjour à San Marcos 🫶🏼

Loved our stay - Pablo was a legend, staff super helpful. Very relaxing with great views, quiet vibes and a 5 minute walk into town :))

Amazing place, many trees, at dawn you can hear the song of the hummingbirds, I tried the Kombuchas, the staff was very friendly, my room comfortable. I loved that they don't have time restrictions to use the common areas I’ll be back 🥳

Me encantó el lugar, una atmosfera tranquila el acceso es 24/7 y la habitación es muy comfortable, la vista es impresionante, hay 2 perritos y 2 gatos que son una dulzura tomando en cuenta que es lugar es PetFriendly. El Staff muy amable y puede comunucarme en inglés sin ningún problema, volveré pronto.

L’Hostel ELOA, est un super endroit, vraiment cosy et très conforme aux photos. Le personnel était adorable et nous a donné pleins de tips sur la ville et les activités à faire. Très beau séjour à San Marcos 🫶🏼
