Soley Hostel

Loved this hostel, had a great vibe! Close to the downtown area, right next to the beautiful lake. Manager went above and beyond helping me buy a bus ticket and getting me there last minute. Kitchen sink would clog often but because ppl dont properly wash their dishes. Certain showers the hot/cold water would go in and out. Beds were comfortable though with big lockers in the room. Would stay again!

Soley's is probably great in season but I went late April. I was expecting it to be quiet but there wasn't really any effort by the hostel to bring people together despite there being lots of people there. Staff were overall very helpful. There was a slight laundry mix up. Beds were average comfort but there were no curtains for privacy. It can also get quite cold in the afternoons/evenings in the dorm rooms unless you leave the door open to let the central wood burner heat it up. Good location.

Such a lovely hostel, would definitely recommend! The staff is also very helpful with organizing activities&tours :)

Je conseille le dortoir de 9 lits, vous êtes dans votre cabane avec votre cuisine. Les espaces communs sont propres, souvent rangés par les volontaires, l'auberge est grande mais conviviale. Soirees organisées en partenariat avec une boîte de nuit pour ceux qui le souhaitent

Kitchen can get busy. Everything is great. You get a sunset from the hostel!

The location of this hostel was amazing. The staff/volunteers were helpful and the atmosphere was pretty good. However, I found the facilities and the cleanliness to be a bit lacking. For example, the upstairs toilet leaked quite frequently from the base which was gross. The kitchen sink was often full of dishes, however this is more the fault of the people who were staying there at the time. Overall a good hostel, but some room for improvement!

The location is great, right next to the lake and the main street where all the shops and restaurants are, the kitchen was well equipped and big, the common area was good. But what I noticed from the beginning is a problem of hygiene, the kitchen was almost always filthy and messy, my room was full of dirt, one shower didn't work, the other one was full of mold and fungus and the third one got flooded constantly, meaning that you have to wait or get your feet in water that others showered in.

Im Soley Hostel wurde ich sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Wohn-/ Esszimmer lädt dazu ein schnell Kontakte zu knüpfen und das Hostel hat eine tolle Lage! Die Küche ist etwas spärlich ausgestattet und ebenso wie die Zimmer relativ schnell eng, wenn viele Menschen da sind. Sauberkeit war ok.

amazing hostel, located next to the lake, at the end of the main street. staff are very nice, big hostel with lots of people, there is a big garden with many hammocks, many bathrooms and 3 kitchens.

Habe dieses Hostel geliebt. So nette, hilfsbereite Menschen. Die lage direkt am See einfach nur klasse. Man konnte jeden abend einen wundervollen Sonnenuntergang sehen. Alles sauber und gemütlich. Wirklich empfehlenswert!!

L’emplacement du hostel est idéal, c’est en face de l’eau et à un coin de la rue principale. Le staff est super gentil et accommodant, tu peux louer des kayaks durant la journée et le coucher du soleil pour pas très cher. Tout est propre et les espaces communs sont principalement à l’extérieur. Très recommandé!

Will definitely come back here next time I'm in Pucón!
