Sujet Beach Hostel and Hotel Danang by Haviland

+ I didn't like anything. This is not a hotel it is a hostel. I checked in but checked out a few hours later.

- No water pressure and a toilet that wouldn't flush. Pretty shoddy state of repair.

- Non hanno mai risposto alle mie richieste e alla mia mail di cancellazione gratuita, assolutamente da evitare

- The girls at the reception are not friendly at all. That's why I gave a low score, they are very unattractive.

+ Went to check in here Thursday after booking a studio for 4 nights very excited as it looked lovely and reviews were good. COULD NOT BE MORE WRONG. Immediately on arrival the pool and lobby area looked unclean. We were hesitant to pay. We got up to our room and my jaw hit the floor when we turned on the light. There was about 100 flys/small moths on all the walls the windows ceiling and bed of the room and bathroom. I immediately went down stairs to talk to reception. They apologised and put us into a large family room on the top floor and said they would have to downgrade us for the remaining 3 nights to just a double room but would try issue a refund for the difference. Looking at a glance the room looked ok so I said yes to this but once we got the key and looked around this was also filthy. There was 3 hairs under the covers of the main bed. Mould on the window, none of the windows actually closed they all had gaps in them. Tiles on entry had loads of chips in them and there was dirt, hair and dead mosquito in the hallway. My girlfriend took off her shoes going in and within 2 minutes her feet were black. We went down stairs again and asked for a refund and to check out and to their credit I will say they did this for us without too much hassle and we have received our full refund back todav.

- Personnel inexistant (moyenne d'âge 20-25 ans ?), en retard. Chambre jamais faite même si demande effectuée, linge non changé. Tables non nettoyées et donc sales. "Vue sur la ville" hideuse. Chambre avec baignoire qui fuit et qui infiltre le mur. Rebord de fenêtre mouillé car réceptionne la condensation de toute les climatisation des étages supérieurs, environnement hideux... et je dois en oubler. Un naufrage. Nous avons à disposition encore d’autres photographies pouvant attester nos dires.

+ Nothing

- The hostel room is very dirty. They don't clean it. I told them twice to clean the room as the floor was full of dirt, they said ok but didn't clean it. When I checked late evening my bed had a sheet full of sand. AC didn't have a working remote control. It got stuck at one temperature, I told the staff about this but they didn't fix this

+ Frukostpersonalen.

- Skitigt ställe, grannar med taxi och en biltvätt som hade sin verksamhet långt in på natten, upplevdes som störande. Poolen klorerades hårt på morgonen, inte okej då det är just då folk skall bada… Men det var inget större problem då ingen verkade vilja kliva i den självmant. Renovering som pågick i byggnaden från tidig morgon. Lyhört överlag, framförallt från vägen utanför. Hamnade i ett riktigt risigt, smutsigt och fuktigt rum första natten-klagade och fick ett något bättre de övriga 2 nätterna. Trotts att jag i god tid deklarerat ”ej fuktigt, mögligt rum pga av känslighet” fick jag just det! Bokade i god tid innan, så kommunikationen kändes värdelös i den frågan. Flera andra gäster på plats hördes klaga över sina rum. För oss är den höga ratingen helt oförståelig.

+ The swimming pool

- The swimming pool, I developed an itch which I suspect is from swimming

- Hygiene was a bitt off.in room .had to ask for cleaning .urine smell in 2 bedroom apartment. I cleaner to check why smell .

+ The kind staff and clean facilities. The pool area is wonderful and large.

- The breakfast was kinda boring, same everyday. The bread selection was great and the fruit very good. But im not use to salads in the morning and the pho leaves much to be desired. My biggest concern was the noise level at night and from kitchen staff at 6am, always loud music.

+ The people staying here are very chill, the vibes are calm but still social if you want it to be. They have a small gym with a treadmill, bike and some weights which was more than perfect. Included in the price so that’s what I really liked!

- In the female dorm, the ac was dripping water down. The dorm itself felt worn down and dirty. Not enough hangers to put your clothes. Showers also slightly dirty. The bed was super hard and it hurt my back. Pretty far from the city / shops / cafes etc.

+ Near the beach,good bed and good price

+ The staff were really nice. The security guards in particular were sweet and helpful. Luu Dinh was so sweet. Pool area was nice to have. Breakfast looked nice but I didn’t pay the (I think) 100,000 for it.

- For dorm side only: really really dirty and neglected. Not enough bathrooms and showers for the amount of people. Nothing to hang your shower things on in the female bathroom. I had to ask for our female dorm floors to be cleaned bc if you were barefoot, you were scraping stuff off your feet once you climbed into bed. Gym was very dirty too. AC took forever to kick on then cool the room, so you were done working out by the time any temp change happened. I didn’t want to touch anything in there- mat was so dirty, bench had sweat marks all over it. Ironically stayed in this hotel to avoid the noisy parts of town, but you could hear them prepping for breakfast by 5 AM anyways. Probably my worst stay in my 5 weeks of travel so far. Maybe the hotel part is nicer.
