Onederz Koh Rong Sanloem

I got food poisoning from the food here so that was really terrible and it’s also not social at all. Other than that it’s a nice building, rooms are clean and nice, it’s right on the beach, and the staff were lovely

The worse place I’ve ever stayed in. Eaten alive by bed bugs. Left after one night and the stole £55 off me as they refused to give me my money back. Staff are money grabbers and nothing more. They don’t care about guests only money. Avoid like the plague.

Unfortunately I ate food at the hostel my first night and got food poisoning which lasted my whole stay and longer. Also the atmosphere from other people was just off for me. Just don’t really recommend this place or the island.

ABSOLUTE AWFUL EXPERIENCE! We had a ferry at 9:30 am and the staff told us a boat would take us to the pier instead of walking and being there for 9:30. we were told and promised there would be a boat taking us the boat finally arrived at 9:22 and got us to the pier after 9:30! Making us miss our boat and having to wait another hour and 45 minutes for the next boat! Causing us to miss our bus to phnom Pen!!! We would have gladly walked to the pier and were instead screwed over by Onederz.

There was bed bugs in my bed, woke up with tiny bites ALL over my body. The staff didn’t seem to care.

Staff were awful, bed bugs everywhere, had blood on the walls. Food is awful, but at least it was on the beach.

I booked into here for one night on my way back to Sihanoukville. When I got there at 6pm after a sweaty hike, the receptionists were busy and after a while they told me they did not have a bed for me (a fault with the system). They arranged for me to stay in the Big Easy which was not the standard I was expecting. This is all fine as things happen, but the my told me they would refund me the booking fee and they have not. The most expensive onederz and the most basic I’ve stayed in. There were tonnes of fly’s and mosquitos in my room, the bathroom stank and the room was just not clean at all - the toilet seat had yellow stains all over it! It’s also a long beach walk from the pier when you’re carrying a giant backpack. I messaged them to try and book a water taxi before I got there but they stopped replying to my messages so I had to do the walk myself

Got bed bugs and cost $20 to get it properly done with zero compensation and still had to pay for a nights stay! Went back to the room after as left my charger and the bed was made up like nothing happened even after I told them!

This hostel is the worst we have had in our 9 month trip around the world. We cannot recommend it!!! It doesn't look like the photos and is completely run down. We were shocked. The beds are ok but that's the only thing. It's not clean, the rooms and bathroom smell gross, the water stinks. The food is totally overpriced. Overall poor value for money. What should I say its a decent onederz, its what you can expect what is really great, its super clean, great ac, I wasn’t too fond of the location but honestly maybe thats just the island on its own. Its again not very social, they dont do like events to bring people together, still its very cute and chill and yeah

Our stay here was good, Onederz is a solid choice. However, my boyfriend got food poisoning from the boat tour they offer. We ate the same but I didn’t eat the rice (from a plastic bag in the sun all day) and he did and has been very ill. When I informed the staff the response was “it hasn’t happened before” and was brushed off with no apologies (if the food poisoning wasn’t from the rice, all the meals we ate were from this Onederz anyway). Amazing experience at Onederz. I live in a female dorm. Everything is clean. The staffs were so kind and helpful. Plus the food is great. And the fire show is on fire!! Everything's worth the stay.

A relaxed, affordable resort-style hostel in a beautiful part of the island, only a 30min walk to the western beaches. Loads of space to chill or socialise, decent rooms and bathrooms are cleaned very often.

Very nice hostel! Clean, decent location for Sarancen Bay. The only things that would improve it for me would be more vegan options and maybe more sun loungers!

Another really nice Onederz. Smaller and chiller vibes than Koh rong, as is the beach. Not very social but there isn’t much to do but relax anyways! The facilities were clean and dorms were nice, restaurant was good. There’s also a small outdoor gym!

Everything was great, comfy and clean to have the best relaxed time in Sanloem :)

Enjoyed this hostel; not lots to do here but they’ve got a pool table and they do fire shows at night. Rooms were really clean and tidy and the overall vibe is lovely as it’s on the beach

We loved our stay here, for location and facilities. Only downside, cleaners came in multiple times during the morning which seemed excessive. The food did make one of us poorly also.

Great hostel, nice outdoor seating lots of places to chill. Outdoor gym was a good touch! Not very social but this is a quieter island so makes sense

Gorgeous hostel for two nights max imo, the staff are SO lovely and the hostel is clean!
