Rooms smell. No vibe. Kitchen barely usable. I booked an extra night and they doubled the price without telling me. They charge for leaving your bags there when most hostels do so for free. The Breakfast is good though

Terrible, this is no hostel, take it off please No kitchen, no sheet on the bed and worst of all no door for the shower!!!! Which is in front of a huge mirror in a mix dorm Payment wrong too, booked 2 nights, payed at check in and had to pay again when checking out!! Complain there did not help Want my money back

We were disappointed with this hostel. The location was ok for the centre of El Calafate, about a 5-10 minute walk from the main street. You don't have a key to your rooms and in one of our rooms there were no lockers to leave your possessions. There was also no ladder to get on the top bunk. It was also the worst equipped kitchen we had seen in South America. Very few pans and the plates were horrible plastic. The staff were nice, but there was no atmosphere and the common areas weren't great.

I was absolutely livid when there were only TWO electrical outlets for a 12-person dorm. I plugged in my external charger around 11pm and when I woke up around 2am someone had unplugged it and put theirs on, leaving mine with just one bar. There was ZERO circulating air in the shower/bathroom and there is black mold growing. When checking out the staff were rude AF and acted as if I wasn’t going to pay…why would I come check out if my intention was to not pay?? Absolutely hated everything ab...

Muy poco serviciales , muy poca variedad en el desayuno y lugar con muy pocos ambientes por el precio que tienen .

Établissement qui paraît propre et correct à l’arrivée, hors les chambres, douches sont très sales et ne ferment pas elles sont sans portes dans des dortoirs de 8 personnes. Le plus horrible est la cuisine qui est horriblement sale et très très mal entretenue. Il n’y a aucun accessoire propre et sain dans cette cuisine (pas assez de vaisselles, nourritures pourries dans le frigo non jetées, etc…)

The place doesn't match the photos at all especially the rooms, the bathrooms were gender mixed, including showers and they didn't allowed much privacy as expected from this kind of arrangement.

Sadly one of them hostels you’re relieved to be staying only one night. We stayed in the 8 bed dorm, no lock on the room door, no lockers in the room, no lock on the toilets, no ladders to top bunks, the room smelt pretty bad and the showers weren’t that clean. It is set back a few streets from the main road but a long way from the bus terminal.

Room was fine, a bit stuffy and small but ok for the price. The staff were helpful. The kitchen was the worst equipped of any hostel I’ve been in in a long time!

Los dormitorios compartidos no son cómodos. En un dormitorio para 6 personas solo hay 2 enchufes. No pude cargar mi celular en ningún momento. El baño es muy chico y no estaba muy limpio. Las áreas comunes sí son agradables.

Es un hostel con una atmósfera agradable, amplio, luminoso, limpio, con lugares designados para comer y otros para el ocio y descanso. El personal es respetuoso, agradable y atento a cualquier inquietud. Está cerca del centro, a un par de cuadras. Aquellos que dicen que está algo alejado, entonces les digo: La Patagonia no es para ustedes, porque lo que más se hace en CAMINAR y disfrutar. Las habitaciones IMPECABLES. El desayuno también. Very nice staff good shower and good location

Folk Suites was a great choice in El Calafate. The location is perfect, and the staff were super helpful with all my questions. The only downside for me was the €5 charge for towel use, which felt a bit steep. Aside from that, everything else was smooth and comfortable. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to other travelers.

Overall nice stay. The staff is nice. But it really has a hotel vibe. Beds are comfy, but the door wouldn’t close and there is no lock for the toilets nor showers (there were clean). As a woman, I didn’t feel comfortable in a mix dorm. The kitchen is okay, it would be nice to have some lids and some extra plates.

Great hostel, really clean and modern. A couple of minutes walk from the very centre of el calafate near the shops pubs restaurants etc. Top quality breakfast and they have a kitchen too.

Nice Hostel! But it isn’t the most social atmosphere so if u want to get to know other traveler than this isn’t the best option but otherwise it ist a great hostel! Clean and the stuff was super friendly!

Sehr nettes und für El Calafate auch günstiges Hostel.

The room was okay, but not very social. There was no hand soap in the bathroom. The hand sanitizer boxes on the walls were empty, which makes me question how clean the breakfast was. Staff were friendly though!

Super nice staff!

Really enjoyed my stay there. Everything was great except there is not really a lot of socializing/its a bit quiet. Also in the kitchen weren‘t a lot of pots and pans, so during meal times there was usually a line waiting to use it. But the bathrooms and the rooms were really clean, the staff was very nice and helpful as well and the location was pretty good considering other hostels way more in the outskirts.
