Dionny's House in heart of the Cordillera Blanca - 35 km from Huaraz

Dionny and her family are wonderful people! They made me feel so welcome, and took great care of me. The food in particular was delicious, and the location in the mountains is beautiful. Alan, Dionny’s son is extremely knowledgeable about the hikes in the area, and even helped me set up a 4 day trek through the Santa Cruz valley!

I really enjoyed staying here with Dionny and their cute dog Valentina. If you’re looking for a quiet but great base to explore cordillera blanca you should definitely come here. They have a lot of good recommendations about where to go and are super friendly

Highly recommended. I had an issue with my original reservation at another hostel in Huaraz and needed a last‑minute place for the final two days of my trip. I ended up staying here for two nights, and honestly, it worked out better than expected. The price was very reasonable, the food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was practical and comfortable.

Villa Elena Hostel is a warm, family‑like place with delicious homemade meals and beautiful mountain views. The hosts are kind and welcoming, and the house is clean with clear guidelines.
