Hostel Santorini Chrissi Ammos

Shower had a leak and was “temperamental”, swinging from hot to cold. Soon is quite small for 4 beds. Kitchen appliances are in a room, which you need to wash the dishes in a sink in the toilet where someone can also use the toilet. Location is right in front of the beach, room has Airconditioning and staff is helpful. However, when you’re in the room, things aren’t as pleasant.

Propre, accueil chaleureux et l’hôtel était très disponible. Par contre, la douche n’était vraiment pas commode (l’eau revolait partout dans la salle de bain), les lits étaient très inconfortables et l’air climatisé était hyper bruyant et coulait tout le temps (même si elle était à 24 degrés Celsius et plus). On s’est fait réveillé chaque nuit parce que les gens parlaient hyper fort (entre 11h soir à 2h matin), donc assurez vous de vous amener des bouchons et de vouloir ...

Very nice location, walking distance to the beach, staff was very accommodating. No security as to who can walk into hostel, door was open. Beds uncomfortable bathroom very small. Nothing to lock valuables in when sharing room. Balcony was nice.

Hostel felt like I was at my grandmas house. Not terrible by any means, felt very homey since it was quite small, we left doors unlocked and everyone knew everyone. It was a very quiet location kinda in the middle of nowhere but about 7 min walk from a bus stop. The owner was great, hostel was right on a beach with lots of restaurants. Met some cool people!!

Super basic amenities but great great great location! Felt safe enough for a solo female, met two girls in the room. It may be pretty empty over the low season so may be harder to meet people.

El lugar es hermoso, el patio muy cómodo para pasar el rato cuando hace mucho calor para estar a la playa (que está literalmente a dos pasos). Sí es importante saber que queda lejos de Oia y Fira (que son las ciudades más conocidas y más lindas para pasear en Santorini), pero el bus es muy cómodo para viajar. Lamentablemente no encontré en quien estaba a cargo del hostel alguien con quien despejar mis dudas, pero google todo lo puede.

Beautiful place, the host is very nice. Arrived very late and had to take an expensive taxi, but during the day the area is very easily accessible by bus.

I had a wonderful stay at Chrissi Ammos. The location was perfect - just steps from the beach, with a market and other shops close by as well. The hostel owner personally greeted me upon arrival and made me feel incredibly welcome from the start. We had some excellent conversations during my stay, and he was always so helpful with recommendations. That genuine warmth and hospitality was a real standout for me. The hostel itself was clean, comfortable, and made for a really enjoyable stay.

Nice location, on the beach, behind Tranquilo bar, good living spaces, and equipped kitchen. Also pretty close to the bus to get into Fira. Staff/owner was not onsite, but easy to contact on the phone. Beds had privacy curtains but I found the mattress pretty uncomfortable. Also the shower in my room would flood the floor when turned on, which was strange. Would stay again if going to the beach in Santorini, but not for as long.

Very nice staff, I felt at home right away. Everything is really nice here – the beach is close, and there are good restaurants nearby. A shopping center is only about 10 minutes away. Clean, comfortable, good value for the money, and an easygoing atmosphere. Perfect spot for enjoying Santorini.

혼잡한 도시들보다 여유롭게 머물기 좋고 직원분들이 엄청 친절해요! 그리고 버스정류장.마켓.해변과 가까워서 좋습니다

L’ostello è davvero una perla :) non sono solita viaggiare per ostelli ma grazie a questa struttura la mia idea è cambiata. È a gestione familiare e si respira un aria di casa anche con gli altri ospiti presenti. Ha uno spazio all’aperto molto curato dove svolgono attività di yoga, una mini palestra attrezzata e il personale è superbo! Cozy and relaxing vibes I only stayed for a night and kind of regretted that. I missed the yoga :( It's right next to the vegan/vegetarian restaurant and the beach. Lovely people :) You get a towel which isn't that common for hostels I think. The water pressure is a bit weak for the shower and I'd recommend fliflops for the bathroom in general

Hostel Chrissi Amos was perfect for us. We had a night stop over in Santorini before we flew home. It was clean, beds were comfy and it had a shower and clean bathroom. We were met at reception when we arrived by Antonis who was lovely and helpful. The location is excellent, about a 2 minute walk to the beach and restaurants and close to a supermarket too. The only regret I have is that I didn’t stay for a few more nights!!

hostel muito bom e perto da black beach (praticamente em frente), oferece um drink de boas vindas no barzinho da frente, quartos são bons os únicos problemas são não ter tomadas perto das camas de cima do beliche, o chuveiro que não é tão bom é o Wi-Fi que não pega bem nos quartos. A área é bem tranquila ideal para relaxar, tem um Carrefour bem perto. Experiência muito boa!

Good vibes. The garden outside is so relaxing, with hammocs and poufs and so on. Straight in front of a great vegetarian bar/restaurant and free beach.

this is one of my favorite hostels I've ever stayed at! It felt super safe and was easy to get to from the airport by using the public bus (pay with cash) an yet felt tucked away from the super touristy parts of santorini. the hostel itself had some of the most friendly people I've ever met while travelling, perfect for solo travelers
