Absolutely terrible.

It was awful. They placed us into a disgusting basement with 15 other people despite booking an ensuit there were no proper rooms. People would constantly argue upstairs over the conditions and the lights were never off. Worst stay of my life

for me this was not a good hostel. it is absolutely not a backpackers hostel and there is absolutely no bar. it is for old creepy man that hang in Boston for a while. bed sheets were dirty, no cutlery, nothing in the kitchen and everything was dirty

I choose this Hostel because of the great reviews - in reality, the Hostel did not meet my expectations after reading the reviews agsin. Coming from the UK the day before I was awake at 5am and in the lounge at 6am. There was no breakfast and no staff - I waited until 7.30am then left without any breakfast or hot drink - not impressed !

my reservation wasnt even honored and refused to let me stay without paying full price when i already paid for the room.

Tried calling multiple times, and the phone would never connect. Then it had no parking available and was in a shady side of town. Wouldn't receive at all. Didn't even stay

Pour accéder aux lieux d’intérêts et de sorties il faut prendre un bus et un métro. L’auberge est située dans la banlieue de Boston, dans un quartier où il ne se passe rien. Son nom indique qu’il y a un hésité et un pub mais en fait il n’y a pas de pub, c’est juste une salle où on peut voir la télé et prendre le petit déjeuner (point positif le café et des toasts sont inclus).

This was in a terrible location. The bar was in the main room amd felt very unsafe. As a female, this is not the place to go. The omly good things about it was that the bathroom was ensuite and there was free parking on the street. Definitely a boy's spot.

This was easily the weirdest hostel I have ever stayed at. Good things first, the cleanliness and the staff were ok. The crowd however was strange. Most people were middle-aged men who basically seemed to live there. A contingent of them could reliably be found on the stairs outside the hostel smoking or drinking but otherwise not having much of an occupation. Someone in my dorm had an Xbox set up in his bed and was spending all day on it. Actual backpackers were rare. I was glad when I left.

The shower was very good.

Wonderful stay. Near transportation and eateries. Worked out perfect. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room are very clean with extra showers and bathrooms in the hallway. WONDERFUL STAY! 💗

Hospitality was great, I was greeted with a smile—even at dark hours of the night. My room was clean, I was happy to see a bathroom and shower in the room. Chill environment, coffee and toast in the morning. Loved my stay.

So good the first time had to comeback with friends!!

Absolutely terrible.

The sheets, blanket and pillowcase are super lame. Small flat and thin the pillows are hard and flat. Noisy metal bunkbeds. I asked for a mixed dorm and got an all men’s dorm.

This was the best owner was so so nice we loved it 10/10 perfect to get to Salem as well!

Good place to lay your head to rest. Comfortable and clean. I was able to work remotely. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It was a last minute reservation so bunk beds were the only ones available. The private rooms looked great, next time will book more in advance to try to get the private rooms.

Hostel é bom, atende as necessidades básicas para uma viagem curta, quando em quarto compartilhado. Distante, para quem estiver de carro vale muito a pena. Staff atenciosos e limpeza impecável. Qualidade dos colchões deixa a desejar. Organização das camas e armários depende da sorte dos colegas de quarto, se não, não terá. Se for em estações frias, leve coberta, aquecimento e a coberta fornecida não são suficientes.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and everything is really clean. Nice updated bathrooms. There were people screaming outside the window (not sure if its a bar or apt next door?) until maybe 3am which made me nervous.

Stayed for a couple nights. The “bar” is just a social room. The shuttle was not in operation all weekend, and was the main reason we picked this spot — we were commuting up to Salem. They were out of drinking water the entire weekend as well. The AC in the room wasn’t strong enough to cool the whole room. Overall, it was good for a bed for the night and a place to shower. Staff was kind and held our bags for the afternoon before we left for the airport, so we could sightsee more.

Great for short staying, good value for money.

I enjoyed my stay here. The owner is pleasant and always helpful, the entire staff was welcoming and ready to socialize. It was so good. I ended up staying an extra night. I plan on telling my friends about this place for sure. 👌🏾😌

Convenient clean facility, and room . Wish the room had been cooler temperature wise. Private bathroom even though a group bedroom. Good value and met what I was looking for in a one night stay.

It's safe and gets the job done. Staff can occasionally be hard to get a hold of, and the facilities are not what is expressed on the website or advertisements. You also are likely to meet some interesting people who live their full time and most of them are fairly pleasant. Overall a good experience.
