- ⭐ Very Poor Experience – Not Recommended for Tourists This place is not suitable for tourists. It seems to be more suitable for hippies or very low-budget travelers. We were given a room that felt like a chicken cage for USD 10 per day, with 6 beds in one small room. The air conditioning was not sufficient, and because of the heat and sweating, we could not sleep the entire night. The overall condition was uncomfortable and unpleasant. If you are someone who is used to sleeping on the road, this place might be acceptable. But if you are a tourist, I strongly advise you not to choose this place, even for 10 dollars per night. At around 6:00 a.m., when I tried to leave, the reception was completely empty. I made several phone calls, but no one answered. The gate was locked, and I was put in a very unsafe and stressful situation. Because I had to leave in the morning, I was forced to jump over the wall, risking my life, just to get out. This is the worst accommodation experience I have ever had. I sincerely hope no other traveler has to go through an experience like this.

- Most of the staff, except one person, lack basic hospitality knowledge. They seem confused whenever guests ask questions. No one smiles — not even the manager. Honestly, it’s disappointing. I booked my room two weeks in advance. On the first day of check-in, after one hour late, and they requested me to change my room to a different room. This is not a professional request. Please advise your dum manager accordingly

- Warning: Bed Bugs Unfortunately, we have to write this review even though the hostel itself seems to have a good system and makes a positive first impression. The staff are friendly and the concept appears well organized. However, we had a very unpleasant experience. After we arrived and lay down for a short rest, we woke up to find the bed full of bed bugs. The bed bugs were already quite large, which suggests that the problem has existed for some time. The staff came into the room immediately and sprayed an insecticide. We decided to check out right away. We were met with some understanding and received a full refund, which we appreciate. When we saw the condition of the mattress, it was completely pitch black and extremely unhygienic. Our decision to check out was not fully understood by the staff, they suggested simply moving us to another room, which made us feel that the seriousness of the situation was not properly recognized. Additionally, the hostel was almost empty, with only one other guest, so it was not very suitable for socializing.

+ Reception staff is good and very cooperative

- Keep changing their policies, actually the owner doesn't know how to do business, the owner is racist about Indian....he only wants business from European countries and Western countries, ... because European and western countries come to stay there for 2 days maximum..... I have faced so many problems, with food, behaviour and very bad hospitality.....

+ No have to like anything.. I hate just and that's hottel R chitter just explain one story One botal MRP price is 100 rupees But hotel staff saleing to 300 rupees And there's all of them so high price sale by customer

- Very very chip quality room and bedroom You know They're outside and single room R cool ok but bunker room R so chipest for on person is bad experience that's hottel..

+ Nothing. They charged me for a room with a broken a.c and made no effort to fix it or give me another room. When I found another room in another hotel they didn't even give me a refund. I'm going through my credit card to get a refund. Terrible will never go back and will not recommend.

- Je suis arrivé à minuit (23h00 normalement mais mon avion était en retard) et lorsque l'employé m'a présenté mon lit il était trempé, de l'eau coulait dessus venant de la climatisation. J'ai attendu jusqu'à 1h00 du matin pour qu'ils trouvent une solution et l'employé n'avait même pas pris l'initiative d'appeler son patron, je suis resté jusqu'à 1h30 et voyant que ni le patron (non présent) ni l'employé ne souhaitaient trouver de solution j'ai dû partir et trouver un autre hôtel tout seul en pleine nuit ! Le patron a répondu à mon commentaire Google avec beaucoup de mauvaise foi et en me rejetant la faute dessus ! À éviter clairement

+ The swimming pool was good. Nice lady was there . She was very kind. Always helpful. And more attention for the guests. ..

- Staff were very bad we asked for the late checkout for only 1.30 hrs. But there refused and they need to 1000.00 lkr per hour. They behave like a guest house.. it's very bad.. we paid it and came out. We spent one night there. When we arrived at the hotel their no bath towels in the room . No water bottle also in the room . That's was very bad experience in there. Price also not worth it. We felt like we are in guest house. So sad., 😢😢😢.

- Manager cold to certain people.... Compared to where I am now is light night to day.... HERE people are congenial, pleasant, helpful, and kind. The manager in Colombo made me feel completely unwelcome until she found out who I am then she began to attempt to open up

+ A really lovely stay overnight stay. The room was clean and comfortable, staff were super friendly and breakfast was delicious

- The aircon barely worked, the atmosphere was pretty poor, the room smelled of mould, beds uncomfortable with high pillows and the blinds didn't work to keep the bright lights out. We had breakfast included but they refused to serve us breakfast, or any food, before 8.30 which was after we needed to leave.

+ Clean room with AC and shared bathroom with hot water. They have shampoo and shower gel if you need it. They offer breakfast, it was good. The reception staff are welcoming.

- The location was a bit far from the places we wanted to visit but not extremely far. You can take the bus, super cheap and super fast.

+ This was my second time staying at this hostel. Breakfast is included, but it hasn't changed at all — I would recommend at least a little variety and some options. There's a restaurant on the property. The room is clean and has air conditioning. Water is freely available, but laundry is available for an extra fee.

+ Sehr zu empfehlen, super Start in Colombo/Sri Lanka! :)

+ Gutes Essen, die meisten des Personals sind sehr nett. Die Zimmer und auch sonst alles ist sehr sauber. Es hat heisses Wasser um zu duschen und ein Föhn.

- Wir mussten lange auf unser Zimmer warten, haben aber dafür einen offerierten Smoothie erhalten.

+ The garden is beautiful, the pool is small but clean, the food is delicious, and the staff are friendly.
