Coco and Pineapple Pants Hostel

Lots of bed bugs on beds in the female dorm. Incredibly rude and aggressive staff, said I was lying about the bugs and ants even though 3 people from the same room complained and showed bites. They did absolutely nothing about the bugs and they didn’t care. so I left. Also I have a nut allergy and the cafe staff did not know what ingredients were in any of the dishes they were serving which is appalling! Allergies also weren’t listed on the menu. Do better.

Location was good, but the amenities were too small. Pool and beans bags were always taken. Also I was charged an extra day that I did not ask for. I told them immediately after being charged and they said they need to talk to the manager. I never got my money back. Also I did laundry- DO NO DO LANUDRY HERE. The mixed all our clothes, we lost a few things- and when we confronted them- they said "it is because we wash it all together." No sorry, no apologizes. Nothing. I don't recommend.

Manche (nicht Alle!) Angestellte waren nicht so freundlich sondern leicht verachtend. Ich fand auch die Strenge aufgrund des Nyepi Tages absolut übertrieben, wenn ich für den Stay viel Geld bezahle, darf ich diesen auch entsprechend nutzen. Bei uns müssen zu Weihnachten Nicht-Christen auch nicht die Weihnachtsgeschichte zitieren, solange die Locals bei der Ausübung nicht gestört werden, sollte alles kein Problem sein. Essen OK. Leider nicht besonders sozial, eher kein echtes Hostel. Pool ...

The toilet stank of sewage every time you flushed it. Some staff members were friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions but the atmosphere was not sociable at all. Lights went out by reception by 10:30/11 even though you were still on the phone or sitting by the poolside. Overall was an ok stay but not a top hostel spot in canggu.

We had bed bugs in our beds and a mouldy femaldorm. Apart from that it was clean. At least we got our money back.

The cleaning standards are by far the lowest of the hostels I’ve been within the same price range. 1. The bathrooms (shower and toilet) were hardly ever clean. The same trash I found lying on the floor was still there on my last day. The soap wasn’t refilled often so I had to buy my own supply 2. The lockers don’t lock properly. The hostel was very pretty, but not social. Most people that stay here are in groups or with 2 and they don’t tend to mingle with the other people in the hostel. The hostel itself is nice. But there was one staff member that was very unfriendly. She was rude and made new rules that stood nowhere and got angry at me and other people at the hostel for no reason. I did laundry and the staff mixed it with other peoples. I got back stuff that was not mine, and some of my things were missing. When I addressed the issue, the staff was very unhelpful and acted as though it’s totally fine. My friend and I were also on separate reservations and I wanted to extend one night, but she didn’t and they charged her anyways. Op de foto leek het een erg sociaal hostel. Was helaas niet zoveel van te merken. In de avond was het erg uitgestorven, en overdag zag je een enkele persoon bij het zwembad. Het was erg schoon en verder helemaal prima, maar houd wel in het achterhoofd dat dit gewoon meer neigt naar een “normaal” hostel dan een sociaal hostel.

The staff were not that approachable and I had bed bugs in my bed that i noticed in the middle of the night. And when i went to tell the reception about it there was no one to be found so i had to go look around in the middle of the night for someone to give me another bed.

i suggest it for long term place. Is ideal for people who want quiet place. they have cheap breakfast and dinner. the bed feel private with personal light and plug plus curtains!!

the hostel was nice and good value and great location , the beds were super comfy but there was no real events/vibe, the bathrooms were not every clean (things left from previous guests and empty bottles in the showers) and the staff (apart from the guy at the bar) didn’t seem to be happy to be there.

Good hostel in central Canggu if you want to relax&rest. The structure is really nice, pool, court and solid wooden bunk beds. Cleaning is not bad but it could be improved a little. Staff is nice and helpful. Not much atmosphere/social vibe if that’s what you’re looking for.

Loved my stay here, rooms are very spacious, modern and clean, big shower with hot water, full body mirror, beds were really comfortable. Lactation is amazing, so many cafes, mini markets, ATM and shops in walking distance. Nice communal spaces to hangout/ do work and the food is also good and very fair priced for canggu. Rooms lock with a keycard aswell as a big locker so all very safe.Friendly staff.. loved my stay here, would definelty come again!

Chill place to stay. The dorms are clean and spacious. The location is great, it’s close to the beach and the shopping streets. The only thing is that they don’t have a free water tap. If you want to fill your water bottle you need to pay, something we haven’t seen at other hostels.

Coco and pineapple pants is an amazing hostel! I felt so comfortable and safe here, the rooms were clean, the bathrooms were kept clean as well. The staff were all so nice and funny. It’s in a nice area down a side road of a popular street in canggu. This place is like home away from home, I will be returning next time :)

Instalaciones cuidadas y limpias, siempre que visito canggu me alojo aquí

This stay was lovely so clean, comfy beds and black out blinds, not very social so wouldn’t recommend for solo travellers but would be great for couples as it’s very beautiful and has a great pool!

Beautiful hostel with quality rooms and showers, pool and shared areas were also lovely. Not really a social hostel though, no hostel events or anything - but so much potential!

I stayed 4 nights at coco and pineapple and it was really a good location - less than 10 min walk to the beach and very central. It is a nice quiet hostel and the privacy in the dorms was also really nice with good lockers to keep your things in. Other guests also had the same chill vibe and you easily fell into conversation with several.

I highly recommend this hostel! Staff are super helpful, location is perfect - close to the beach and all the shops, quiet and away from the busy part hostels.

Great hostel in canguu if you want to hang out , go to bars and restaurants nearby.
