Cleanliness was poor — on the 5th floor the bins in the dorms and bathroom were overflowing with used toilet paper. However, the reception experience was worse. Before checkout I confirmed I could return for a shower for 50 pesos and agreed. When I came back, they changed it to 200 pesos because my run was “too long,” though no limit was mentioned. Changing the price after the fact felt dishonest and unprofessional. I wouldn’t stay again.
would not recommend, you sleep next to toilets and shower cabins in the doorm.
Nice beds, however so so warm at night with no AC. Also not a social hostel. If you want social go near historic centre.
Great location and very safe. Beautiful common area! Room was very clean and the bed is comfortable. The windows are open for the heat but meant I was bitten a lot by mosquitos. I didn’t like how close some beds are to the toilets especially if they are used during the night….there is no privacy.
Beautiful hostel, amazing staff, and in condesa. The breakfast was delicious and the interior decor is beautiful. However, I could not sleep at all in this place. The mixed dorms (which are basically male dorms), face into an open extremely loud highway. The female dorm faces the interior patio so does not have this problem. If you want a good night seep, avoid this place.
I like the hostel, very modern and well decorated and staff were nice. However it's extremely loud and noise travels from outside and through the building. The bathrooms are located right in the dorm which isn't great for privacy or for rest. The breakfast is also very limited which is surprising given the price of the hostel.
Really nice and clean place. A bit too expensive
Super clean nice hostel just has a lot of floors and kinda expensive compared to other options but in a way better area
Having no AC in this heat is a torture. I had to go and find another place to stay after just one night, even though I booked for 6, because of it. I was literally getting sick from the heat. Combined with the heat, because the shower is inside the dormitory room, it really feels like a sauna when people starting to having shower. The staffs were very kind and caring. It's a bit difficult to get around since the metros are located far from it and I don't know how to catch the local bus...
Lovely hostel in my favorite neighborhood in CDMX. My only criticism is, that considering the very high price the 10 bed dorm is too crowded + several beds are right in front of the bathroom/shower = it is always bright/noisy, there is next to no space for personal stuff (i stored all my clothes in my capsule bc the locker was on the other end of the room and full with my backpack) and it is very very hot (could def. use an AC at certain times of the year). I think this should be addressed.

Overall een goede locatie om te verblijven. We sliepen niet super goed omdat er geen airco was. We hadden ook ongeluk dat er een dag geen warm water was dus douchen met koud water was minder leuk.
Casa Pancha is a great base to explore Condesa and surrounds, and feels super safe for solo female travellers. It’s good for if you’re wanting to meet people but not after a party environment. The common areas are beautiful and dorms have capsule-style beds. Staff were super welcoming and helpful. The nearby road can make it quite noisy at times, but this isn’t uncommon in Mexico City.
Good hostel! Great location, close to everything. Very clean. Helpful staff. Nice modern building. Only downside is the noise. Its on a main road so very loud all night. The dorm rooms are open plan, sinks right next to beds, so means minimal privacy and multiple distributions. Eye masks and ear plugs are a must.
Beds were clean, good storage, nice privacy blinds. Overall design is nice and quaint. Top floor with the kitchen is very cosy. Overall atmosphere was very chill, perhaps a little too chill, if you're looking for a social spot I probably wouldn't recommend. Neighbourhood is very nice and safe feeling.
I had a fabulous time here. Everyone I spoke to was so lovely and we made a great group of friends who did activities together. People respected each other, left the spaces tidy and were quiet when people were sleeping. It is within walking distance of the big park and some other great things to see- awesome location that felt safe to walk through alone as a female too (I only did this during the day though). Highly recommend!
Casa Pancha is just wonderful! The hostel is so pretty, it’s very clean and the location is fantastic, very walkable to many cute cafés, shops and restaurants. Even in the 10person all female dorm it was very nice, clean & quiet. 10/10 would recommend!
Casa Pancha has lovely staff and amazing facilities. The security is great with keys to all dorms, plus security boxes and lockers. Super clean as well. The balcon and common area are beautiful. If you're looking for a party hostel, this is not it, but I can highly recommend Casa Pancha for its facilities and lovely staff! They also organize activities every day!
Not a great hostel for meeting people. Very calm. Good breakfast and friendly folks working to maintain the hostel
Hostel is super clean, safe and the staff are helpful. Location is decent, most likely having to walk 10–15 min to main areas. Wasn’t my favourite only because the highway is very loud at night and you do have to cross a few busy streets when walking around. The dorm beds are comfortable and there’s a blackout curtain, but the bathrooms are in the dorm which means you can hear people coming in and getting ready at all hours of the night. Not very social, an older crowd.
Amazing stay, would stay again!
Great location, friendly staff and guests.
Had an amazing stay at Casa Pancha for 3 days. Secure, clean with a relaxed environment, well decorated in a perfect location. The staff was very kind and helpful :)
I really liked this hostel. It‘s very clean, good location, quiet and lots of privacy in the dorm. Also all of the staff is so incredible nice and helpful.
Spotless and new. Great social layout, wonderful La Condesa neighborhood. Lots of hot water, comfy beds, good sized lockers. Cubicle frames a bit creaky, but that was minor. This is a lovely place with a great kitchen and room to chill or socialize. Book now!! :)
Very beautiful peaceful hostel in Condesa, quick walk to many tourist destinations. Delicious breakfast provided free in the morning (fruit, granola, yoghurt, toast etc). The reason for the lower score is that there was no atmosphere - felt more like a shared work space than a hostel. Wouldn’t recommend if you want to meet new people! Also felt a little on the expensive side. Power/hot water went out and took almost 24hrs to fix in our room w no alternatives offered. Overall a lovely place
Great staff, great staff, great staff!!! Really great place in great location. Comfortable beds, strong WI-FI, hot water, strong water pressure.
Good hostel, good area. Beds are comfy with nice blankets. Only stayed one night so not sure about the vibe, but clean facilities with some nice places to hangout.

Probably the best hostel I’ve ever been to. Everything was perfect, even the vibe of the people there was great. Such a welcoming and nice community culture, especially for solo travellers. Next time I’m in CDMX I’ll be coming back!
