We really enjoyed our stay here. I loved the quirky and hippy decor, it was relaxed and the pizza night was great. The staff were helpful and I liked the outdoor shower. I would recommend.

Lovely staff, nice vibe and the surf hire was great!

Overall great hostel. The showers were great, really good pressure. Some areas in the the private room I had could have done with a proper clean but the 4 bed dorm was spotless.

Easy stay for a night! Facilities were okay, definitely more dated. Shared room was fine with only 2 of us. Cool vibe in the decor/setup but maybe there on a quiet night where there weren't many people around. Think it would be way better if it was full! Supermarket/shops and beaches really close.

We had a double room which was fine for one night but overall very small for the two of us. Door had no lock on the inside so we literally couldn’t lock the door whilst we slept which was weird.

Fun hostel with loooooads of staff who are very friendly. Small dingy kitchen, but large well worn living areas both inside and outside. Numbers fluctuate with the Kiwi Experince bus, so one day you may be one of few and then dozens of people will arrive at once. Hostel often goes out for a surf together. Westport itself is a bit of a dump but good hostel to work at if your interested

Old facilities, small rooms and full of dust. Staff is unfriendly

It's a surfer hostel, so everything's facing outside. The atmosphere is alright, but not great, a lot of long-termers staying that don't seem keen to interact with anyone else. Facilities alright. Can't say much to the surfer services. Apart from surfing, I'm not sure Westport itself is even worth visiting unless for a night's stop.

Booked last minute but was made very welcome by the staff. The room was clean and as shown. Amazing bathroom facilities. It was quite quiet whilst I was there but the kitchen still seemed busy and was fairly small. Overall, would recommend staying here!

This had amazing bathroom/shower room facilities, a real bonus! The bed was particularly squeaky and you could feel every breath move the bed. Otherwise, I loved the vibe here. I didn’t have one but the do pizzas in a proper oven and they looked fab!

Decent hostel. Kitchen was a little small and ill equipped. Showers were amazing. Staff were ok, sense of unease. Also the surf instructor was kinda rude. Atmosphere was lacking.

Agréable séjour passé. On avait un dortoir de 4 rien que pour nous deux. Le seul bémol est qu’on a passé la nuit en même temps que le bus Kiwi expérience, et donc beaucoup de jeunes voyageurs dans la cuisine. Les sdb sont nombreuses et propres. L’atmosphère est très sympa avec de belles déco

Loved it!!!! Extend our stay twice

Nice place and nice dorms. Nice places tot sit outside. Good vibes. One Point though is that The kitchen is very very small and constante very full while music was being blasted through the speaker. Very overwhelming and hard to cook in

Very cool hostel, everything is custom painted. Surf deals are very good value. Kiwibus stops here, so can get loud

Enjoyed my stay, met nice people. Metal bedframe a little shaky, when you are on the top bunk, but everything else was great, super clean and well organized. Grocery store and activities close. Incredible beaches 10 min. away!
