Hostel Old Plovdiv

Amazing!! Favourite hostel so far in my backpacking trip, staff was lovely, in such a great location right in the old town, beautiful building inside and out. Lovely garden outside, and tons of cats to pet and feed just outside the property :) 10/10 worth it for the money as well.

Location in the old town was perfect. Hosts were very polite and did great explaining what’s where. And had some great roommates. Will definitely return.

Incredibly friendly staff. They made check-in very easy and were very kind. Very clean and great location in old town. Best hostel I’ve ever stayed at, excellent value for the low price.

Wonderful hostel in the old town of Plovdiv. A really warm greeting and good facilities. Super close to all sights that one would want to see on foot in Plovdiv. The staff was able to recommend many activities!

Staff is super friendly. Everything is well organised. Bathrooms are cleaned and beds are extremely comfortable.

Very beautiful charming hostel in the middle of Old Town. Everything is in near walking distance (bar district was 7min away). I got greeted very friendly and the rooms were superb. I just love the vintage vibe and it made me feel homey! Breakfast is good value for 2€, but don’t expect a huge one! Veggie and vegan options were available which I liked. I had a great time here. The staff were super nice and attentive, the building was beautiful and we met some great people here. Beds were also comfy and lockers were massive. Only negative would be you can't put toilet paper in the toilets.

An amazing experience. You must try when you’re in Plovdiv. It’s like you’re staying in a museum. The location is great and the staff are super nice and helpful. One of the best greetings that i ever seen.

Amazing architecture, the hostel was exactly like museum flower houses that I visited. It was located literally 15 seconds walking from main attractions. The staff was friendly. It was clean.

Pros: • Authentic Heritage: This is absolutely the best chance to stay in a stunning, century-old historical house. It’s beautiful. • Excellent Breakfast: The breakfast was rich and plentiful—a great start to the day. · The cutest cat that would sit on your knees. Cons: • Because the communal kitchen is rarely used, it wasn't as clean as I’d hoped. But restaurants are cheap here so no need to worry.

The photos don’t represent what the property looks like in real life. On the floor where all the rooms are, there is one shared toilet/shower. The kitchen is appalling. Fridge was unplugged. I stayed 2 nights and when I left the morning of the third day the bins were overflowing and smelly. Although I gave an arrival time of 3pm there was nobody at the property to let me in to reception. Location is good. And that’s it.
