Could be nicer and cleaner if the 3-4 ”volunteers” would actually help the old woman with housekeeping instead of blasting music and smoking weed on the porch all day.

they overbooked my bed, placed me in the staff room. no apologies what so ever. staff room was horrible, dirty and smelly. felt bad about people working there.

Too keep it short: loud nights; sounded like people moved stuff and big trucks from the road, bad location; was a big road right outside, cleaned one time during our stay; smelled in the bathroom & a guy left a day after we came and his trash were there for days & sandy floor, the AC; it was freezing cold in the room. Last but not least BEDBUGS. Do I have to say more? But people and staff were nice.

I would rate this a 1, but HostelWorld has somehow made it a 2. How this has such good ratings is beyond me. I stayed in this hostel for the August full moon party, on returning to our room after our night, we found large cockroaches crawling across our pillows, spiders, and a faulty air conditioning unit leaking water onto the bed below. Due to how unhygienic this hostel was, we checked out at 4am. Originally the hostel agreed to refund us in writing, but has since ghosted us.

This hostel was crap! The biggest issue was how useless and rude the staff working there was, this was not all staff it was the clearly ‘volunteers’ that had been taken in, they had absolutely no idea what was going on and had no way to help with anything I wanted to ask questions about. I had to wait a very long time after check in time to get my room. They were rude and made me so comfortable to even ask any questions due to their lack of knowledge and horrible attitude. It’s fine for 1 night but no more.. beds weren’t ready until way after check-in. Paid for a 5 bed en-suite and was given a larger room with no bathroom. There are stains on the mattresses and dust absolutely everywhere. Not enough showers for everyone staying. Some volunteers are nice but as they’re volunteer staff there’s an overall lack of care to the property.

I didn’t enjoy my stay. The hostel is very dirty. My bed didn’t look clean; the sheets had multiple stains and rips on them. The toilet and shower doors were crooked so I had to use force to close the door every time. There’s rubbish everywhere, near the sink in the bathroom but also in the sitting rooms. We had to take our shoes off but the floor is dirty. The bed is just as hard as the floor is. The bedroom had to stay unlocked all the time. Didn’t make me feel safe.

Bathrooms smell and sink doesn’t drain. there is a cat that meows constantly to the point where it sounds like a child screaming. I usually like cats, but this one goes into everyone’s rooms and I am allergic so I was sneezing a lot. Our room had a broken light and only one window that faced an indoor wall not outside. The room was constantly dark, I couldn’t even see my bag to unpack. I told the staff and she just kind of shrugged and said the lights broken. The A/C switched off every 30 ...

Dirtiest hostel I’ve ever stayed in. There were mosquitos everywhere in the room , the drains stank of sewage, my bed was dirty and clearly slept in. My room was so unclean. There was loud music I could hear clearly playing until 12am. Staff were friendly enough and there was a cute cat. But overall would recommend against staying here

This place has such a genuine, laid-back vibe that’s hard to find. From the moment you arrive, it just feels easy. The common area is honestly the heart of the hostel—super cozy, social when you want it to be, but also chill enough if you just want to relax. I met great people without even trying. The atmosphere feels very natural, Location-wise, it’s perfect right in Thong Sala, close to everything you need, but still quiet at night. The whole place just has a character 🫰

Close to the port but nothing else. You need a motor bike if youre staying there. Good for solo travellers as they have lots of social events. Rooms & beds were clean just the bathrooms were a little messy and shower pressure was terrible

Les douches et les toilettes sont vraiment pas propres. Les portes ne ferment pas à clef. Heureusement que le personnel est sympathique et petit + sur les cours de yoga !

Wir waren nur für eine Nacht in dem Hostel. Unser Zimmer konnte nicht abgeschlossen werden, es gab kein fließendes Wasser, in unserem Bett krabbelten Ameisen und es gab kein Moskitonetz. Die Klima war extrem laut und die Bettdecke war quasi ein großes Handtuch. Unsere Mitbewohner waren 3 Nächte in dem Hostel und erzählte uns, dass sie an keinen Tag fließendes Wasser hatten. Die Mitarbeiter waren nett. Wir haben uns dennoch leider sehr unwohl gefühlt, einfach aufgrund der mangelnden Sauber...

Best hostel I could’ve chosen! I had an incredible time, I was planing on staying for 3 nights that ended up being 2 weeks. Very nice atmosphere, super social and easy to meet people, rooms are nice and clean, personal it’s super friendly and helpful, and the yoga in the morning and breathwork in the evening were an amazing plus. I would definitely go again, thank you!!

I had a great experience at this hostel. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with anything I needed. Every morning there was free yoga and breathwork, which was such a nice and refreshing way to start the day. Some evenings they also offered free popcorn and social dinners, which made it really easy to meet other travelers and created a great atmosphere. The location is excellent as well very convenient and close to everything. I would highly recommend.

Lovely stay, lovely staff, friendly vibe. We had the protection. It’s right next to the bathrooms however and quite noisy.

very weird vibe with the staff while i was there. Not really any privacy for there were no curtains on the bad and the bathroom/shower was right next to the chillout space. the bathroom and shower were dirty and there were a lot of ants and insects around. changes hostels as fast as i could.
