Cocoa´s House

Een vriendin en ik verbleven hier voor- en na de quilotoaloop. De host, Santiago, heeft ons super goed op weg geholpen met het uitdenken van ons plan en hij regelde een ontbijtje voor ons bij een hostel aan het begin van de loop, in Sigchos. We konden bij Santiago onze backpacks achterlaten en hebben na afloop onze kleding laten wassen, die toen weer heerlijk roken. De kamers zijn schoon en de bedden slapen lekker. De keuken was oké, maar in de omgeving zijn genoeg leuke plekjes om te eten.

Great hostel! The people working there were very very nice and helpful. They let me stay the whole day while waiting for a night bus and I could leave my bags for a few days during hiking the Quilatoa loop! Recommend!

Bon emplacement dans le centre avec une très grande chambre avec balcon. Malheureusement difficile d’avoir de l’eau chaude. L’hostal était quasi vide, le petit dej censé être inclus à était oublié le 1er jour mais après discussion avec Sebastian, il s’est excusé et nous a offert le lendemain le petit dej à l’hôtel d’à côté. La cuisine mériterait d’être mieux entretenue

Mein Aufenthalt im Rosim Hostel war super. Ich habe es dann gleich noch einmal nach meiner Rückkehr vom Quilotoa Loop gebucht. Das Personal ist sehr nett und versucht einem wirklich bei allen Angelegenheiten weiterzuhelfen. Das Dorm und das Bad waren sehr sauber. Das Frühstück ist lecker und ausreichend groß. Die Lage ist zentral, ich habe mich in der Umgebung sicher gefühlt. Es war eine gemütliche und familiäre Athmosphäre. Man kann sogar kostenlos sein Gepäck lagern. Empfehlenswert!:)

It's an excellent place to start your Quilotoa trek. The accommodations are basic but that is reflected in the price. The staff is excellent and very helpful. Laundry was ready same-day, breakfast was excellent, they have a locked room where they allowed us to store our bags while hiking for 3 days. The location is right in the center of town and a short walk from the bus station.
