Dalat Central Stay

They don’t change the bedding!!! Only thing we saw them change was the bottom sheet after asking twice I arrived at 6am ready to sleep for my bed just for the duvet and pillow to be covered in hair. This meant we had to sleep with no duvet, just on jackets we brought. They seemed very confused when we wanted the covers changing despite showing videos of the hair. Disappointed by the receptionist manager. She made up prices on the spot saying 90k for the family meal when price clearly states 80k. You never come away having a nice conversation with her, she screws you over wherever she can with prices. Toxic af. Not nice vibe. She needs to learn some basic manners and customer service skills.

Worst stay I've had traveling EVER. The beds are so close together and there's no lockers so there's almost no room to walk. It felt dirty and dark there, and the staff was not very kind. I could not recommend at all

My stay at the hostel was the worst experience. As I was on my sleeper bus to Da Lat, so only mere hours away from the hostel, I received an email that simply said that my booking was cancelled and to look elsewhere due to overcrowding from tet. I had booked this hostel six days prior. On arrival I WAS given a room; it was a mattress on the roof/laundry room of the building. It was cold and loud and I had to pay FULL price. Also, newcomers got beds clearing up but I was told to remain. Awful.

They overbooked and had to sort loads of things out and it just kept going more and more wrong but it did all work out and the woman behind the desk did try her hardest

Wasn’t too bad but did come back one night to find two people asleep in our bunks, many other people have had similar experiences. Think they are unorganised and over booking and forcing people to move to the family hostel gym floor for their mistakes

Stay away from this hostel: When I arrived early in the morning, I was extremely tired and exhausted from the night bus. The receptionist took advantage of the situation and charged me far too much for an early check-in. She also made me pay 230k VND for two nights, even though my booking on Hostelworld clearly showed 60k VND per night. Personne à l’accueil pas du tout agréable. On m’a fait payer plus chère que le prix indiqué sur hostelworld. La dame de l’accueil m’a gentillement dit que si j’étais pas contente, d’aller voir ailleurs. Mais sinon la chambre double était très correcteur, juste il n’y avais pas de fenêtre

Le mépris n'est pas feint il n'y a qu'à lire le nom attribué au cocktail programmation mentale pour entuber les clients sans parler du nom du mot de passe qui sera certainement changé après ce commentaire

Room was tiny. Photos don’t accurately depict room size. 6 beds (3, 2 bed bunks) shoved into tiny room. No lockers for bags in or outside room. Stains on 4/5 bedsheets. No lock on bathroom door. No headspace for top bunk, hit head off roof. Main door didn’t close properly. Staff were okay. No atmosphere whatsoever for a ‘social hostel’. No music, everyone in common area headphones on and dead quiet, no chat whatsoever. Bathroom in room was also see through at some points in the glass.

Loved my stay here! The family dinner was really well done and the staff were absolutely lovely, going above and beyond when I was feeling ill!

I had a great stay at Dalat Central Stay, even extended another night. It had a good location to the town and grabs were easily available to get around. Private rooms were really clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Lovely rooms and bathroom area. Super kind staff who were accommodating of every need. Definitely worth a stay here while in Dalat. This hostel is in a great location, close to the best food spots in Dalat! :)

The beds are small and all cramped together only separated by a thin curtain between people sleeping. Very hard to get to the top bunk with the steps provided. There are two toilet/showers per floor so you have to wait a lot and they are never clean. Family dinner food was pretty good. The offered tours are super expensive and felt pushy. Staff kept separating groups into different rooms I heard arguments with three different groups about it. Wouldn’t stay here again even with the cheap price

总是欢乐的员工，员工工训态度不错。值得称赞！这个地方买东西稍微有点点远，缺点么。设施么？不知道晾衣服的地方在哪儿，自己不能使用厨房！一楼前台有点吵，音乐声音很大！不过年轻化喜欢稍微吵闹一点的！我主要找个安静地方待着就行 总体不错，值得推荐！有各种活动，租车，旅行团，有喜欢的可以来！各个国家人都有！

Overall this is a good hostel but there could be some improvements. the beds are super comfy and the rooms and showers are clean. Also has a pool and places to chill. i found it very social here. Although the main common area is also a public resturant which takes away from the hostel vibe. Also the drinks here are super expensive, 3x what you pay in any other bar or hostel. I don't mind paying slightly more for convenience but that is ripping off your customers.

Great location, good food at hostel, helpful with tours and buses. The rooms are just very compact with no luggage space making for a messy room. It is clean though with helpful staff.

I loved this hostel so much I ended up staying for 8 months. A cheap stay too. The staff are absolutely incredibly so sweet and friendly. Family dinner is great too to meet other travellers. Buses are also cheaper to book direct with them.

The hostel is too small for how busy it is. Luggage can be left in the main sitting/bar area which didn’t feel very safe and the dorms are so small, you couldn’t swing a cat. However the staff were really nice and helpful.

It was $2 and I got what I paid for. The bunkers are set up like 1 big mega bed but the showers were clean. No room for bags some girl accidentally ripped my skirt and it pushed my bag all the way under the bunk bc she was so drunk. That wouldn’t be a problem if there were lockers but the room is so small there is no room. Food is not great. Staff was nice.

This is a very lovely inviting place with great cheap food available if you are travelling early or late, the sociability is less inviting as people tend to group up whereas there’s other hostels in da lat where everyone socializes together. If you’re looking for a more chill location, definitely go here.

Yen, hot latte , hot chocolate, the most amazing hosts, we had the best time at this hostel. It was my friends birthday and they made it the most amazing experience. Insane for the price, clean and fun and 10/10 recommend

Es war eine sehr gemütliches und geselliges Ambiente. Die Mitarbeiter, vor allem "Hot Chocolate", sind allesamt sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das gemeinsame Abendessen wird frisch zubereitet und schmeckt sehr gut. Wirklich ein tolles Hostel.

This is the best hostel I’ve staying in on my travels. Social without being hectic. Facilities are top class with great hot showers. Staff are super friendly and always go the extra mile. If you’re in Dalat, I would 100% recommend this place!
