Bon Ami Hostel

I was put in a moldy room, was not good, all my clothes smell from the mold. Hostes are really sweet !

the kept turning off the A/C the rooms were so hot even during the night i was burning so i left asap

I found bugs on my bed so I left to go to another hostel. I requested a refund but they only offered to move beds.

We didn’t get the room we booked. We traveled five girls together, but they split us up so one person had to sleep alone. We had to pay, before they even told us about the room situation. The rooms were cold and humid. The sheets were dirty. The rooms didn’t have a lock. There was no hot water. We had to pay for the towels, even though they were “included” on the website. When we asked for accommodation for the inconveniences, the offered free towels. Overall not impressed.

We got bed bugs. We are disappointed that this happens. But the staff were nice and the breakfast was good!

Tried to charge me 700,000 VND for one night after the agreed $14 on the website. Had private room with no towel, bathroom sink leaked but the bed was very comfortable

BEDBUGS! Simple as that. Staff were very good and offered us another room however we declined as we were put off. What was most worry was how unfazed they seemed about this, like it was an everyday occurrence.

Great location and the price is good. The breakfast was not very much. We also paid too much on arrival. When we asked, the owner told us that we had booked through website and that was the problem. She gave us the money back - but it's better to recalculate. And don't book tours with her - there are much cheaper tours in the travel agencies.

The staff at the hostel were amazing and so helpful with booking tours and the transport to the airport. The roooms were basic but I guess that’s the price you’ve paid for. The bathroom smelled and there was no ventilation.

Dirty hostel and mouldy rooms, sheets were dirty. Good location, but would find another place to stay!

Very good location, kind and helpfull people. Good advices for the hai van pass. Beds are confortable and the room is clean. Very lovely stay.

Die Eigentümerin ist wirklich ein Engel. Sie kümmert sich sehr, um ihre Gäste und steht für all Fragen und Sorgen bereit. Ansonsten ist es ein einfaches aber gutes Hostel direkt in der Fußgängerzone der Stadt. Alles was man für einen kurzen Aufenthalt braucht.

Very basic hostel but serves its purpose as it’s in a decent area. No real social area so not a social hostel and think they have a bit of an ant/bug issue. They overcharged me for the bus I booked through them. I paid 400k whilst other people on my bus only paid 250k for the same journey!

Perfect location

Goed, hele aardige mensen en behulpzaam. Zachte bedden. Locatie goed in het centrum. Wat je kan verwachten voor de prijs.

Wir waren hier für drei Nächte und sowohl die private Rooms als auch Dorms waren sehr sauber und schön gemacht. Wir sind um 6:30 aus Hanoi angekommen und das Personal hat sich sehr bemüht uns einen angenehmen Check In zu ermöglichen. Generell waren alle sehr sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Good value and good location

Staff couldn’t provide us with locker keys on arrival, and there was also no locks for the dorms. Dirty sheets when we arrived but they fixed. Towels also dirty, and an extra charge. Everything else is okay and the location is good. Okay for what you pay.

It didn’t have a locker or a safe for your bag and valuables. There wasn’t a key for the door either.

Extremely friendly staff and the lady who runs it Fin is a class act. she helped us when we needed to extend and even gave me her motorcycle to use when there were none left to rent. we used the bike for nearly2 days and she only charged for 1, the rooms are also very clean and comfortable.

I had a lovely stay here, fin and Quan were both very lovely and friendly and I would highly recommend this hostel for both the hygiene and social aspects. Thank you Quan and Fin for everything you guys were great!!

Super hostel dans le centre, à côté de bars et restaurants. Notre chambre était grande et propre. Coup de cœur pour la propriétaire qui est vraiment adorable et super drôle. Vous pouvez réserver vos bus et excusions sur place, le personnel est vraiment là pour vous aider.

Amazing staff, super lovely and helpful. Room was clean and very central location. No lockers or key for door and man door stays open all night is only thing :)
