I stayed for two weeks: i saw cockroaches in my bed(!!) and half the time the toilets ran out of toilet paper and it wasnt refilled when they were cleaned. If they even were cleaned daily bc often it didnt look like it. The toilet brush water was overflowing. The fact that there was nowhere to eat your own food except the room also made the room smelly. It might seem nice on the pictures but some rooms didnt even have windows. Probably a nice place if you have money for the big room and the bar

This did not feel like a hostel. It was a hotel, built from the old library. The breakfast cost two dollars less than my stay.So $$ The sheets were $8 and the Hostelworld fee was not part of my payment. In other words, they are sneaky. Look at the total booking and then what you owe. The deposit you made is not included. I would stay away. They don’t have a refrigerator to store any food or a kitchen and there is no nearby grocery store. Not a friendly place. Lots of families on holiday.

No kitchen, room was dirty and toilet paper was empty and not refilled at all. Random people ran into the room in the middle of the night that were not guests of the hostel. And, the walls are so thin that you can hear everything on the toilet. Overall, if not for the good, convenient location i wouuld give this hostel a 2/10.

A very mid stay. The facilities are lacking: no kitchen, no eating in the common rooms, pay 6.50 euros for linnen. The shower often is not hot. The automatic light in the room is insane! Every slightest movement in the entire room lights up everything, super annoying when trying to sleep. The vibes also aren't the best, you wil not find other travelers to meet up with during solo travel. The staff however is very friendly, and the bed is decently confortable. But not much more than that.

pros: central, not too expensive, can be social, nice&cozy common room, the rooms and bathrooms are clean. cons: they did forget to change the bed sheets of the person who slept in my bed before me which was annoying AND you need to pay for sheets/linen upon arrival and make your bed yourself (normally without having to remove dirty bedsheets of previous guests)

Le camere sono davvero molto piccole. noi avevamo quella da quattro e non entravamo in piedi tutti insieme. In più la camera non aveva nè finestre nè aeratori. l'unica apertura era una porta di emergenza che abbiamo scoperto dare in una stanza di 20 persone. la posizione è ottima ed il personale cordiale.

Overall really good hostel. My only criticisms are that they require you to pay for bedsheets. Never found another backpacker that takes bedsheets with them, let alone another hostel that has required bedsheets to be purchased or provided. Doesnt cost that much though, the real bummer for me was the lack of a kitchen. To be fair it is not in the property description but don't mindlessly book the place thinking they have a fridge or microwave or communal kitchen.

Insgesamt okay, leider war’s nicht sehr sauber im Zimmer als ich angekommen bin (8er Frauen-Schlafsaal). Auch nach Nachfragen wurde das Bad nur unzureichend gereinigt. Um genügend Klopapier zu erhalten musste ich mehrmals nachfragen. Ich hatte das Pech ein Zimmer im Untergeschoss zu bekommen, deshalb war es sehr heiß und Luft kam trotz des Fensters nur schlecht rein. Hatte sehr viel coolere Hostels auf meiner Reise! Die Lage ist aber tatsächlich nicht zu übertreffen.

It's rare for hostels to demand to pay for your bed sheets and I don't think, that fair. They also ask you to check in online, download and app for your room key, but after all I never received the key in that app, but had to go to reception anyways. So I don't see the point in that process beforehand. Otherwise it's a nice place with nice staff

Overall super nice and highly recommended! Only flaw is that the light in the room is automatic and it switches on every time someone walks - even at night… I had people coming back at 2, 3, 4 and I woke up each time

Super cool hostel, definitely had a hotel-vibe to it which made it feel more upscale, for a very reasonable price too!

crazy konzeot mit den riesen schlafsälen aber es funktioniert richtig gut und es gibt genug Privatsphäre

Nice to sleep there but this is definitely not a traveler friendly hostel. No kitchen area, even the linen need to be paid (hidden cost, take care), no washing possibility and especially annoying was the fact that you can't even bring food - you can only drink on their bar or need to buy their meals.

Chouette auberge, joli espace commun. Dommage qu'il n'y ait rien du tout pour cuisiner. Un micro-onde ou une bouilloire ainsi qu'un espace pour manger sa propre nourriture hors des chambres seraient appréciables. Les casiers sont également un peu petits. Pour le reste tout est nickel. Chouette restaurant communautaire, rideaux sur les lits, jeux en tous genre dans le bar (billard, Shuffle board, ping pong, jeux de société,...). Super endroit pour rester 1 ou plusieurs jours à Aarhus!

Lovely, easeful stay. Staff went above and beyond to help me sort my transport. Breakfast was delicious. Queen pods were a much appreciated chance to stretch out a little!

Estuve muy agusto como en mi casa muy bien situado un 10

Great vibe, cheap room and friendly staff

In general the hostel was pretty nice! Nice program in the evening, good breakfast in the morning. But I thing you should really work on is the room cleaning. Our bathroom was really dirty! But overall I’ll totally come back!!

The location of the hostel is perfect, only 10 min walking to either the main station or the bus terminal. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were perfectly clean for me. However I missed a kitchen or at least a boiler to get myself some hot water for tea or cup noodles. Also it’s a bit annoying that the lockers made noises everytime when they open and close and also that the lights in the (bath)room turned on and off by itself. I didn’t mean to disturb my roommates.

The staff was nice the room was clean. But it was lacking this hostel culture where people meet and chat. There was no atmosphere for that.

Lovely staff, nice bar/lounge. A minus that they didn’t have a kitchen to use, and that bringing food/drinks inside wasn’t permitted. Also they charged me for tap water? Which in denmark is pretty crazy. Overall good though.

Sociaal hostel op een topplek. Leuk om een biertje in de lobby te drinken. Wel veel lawaai 's nachts.
