Hostal Don Cenobio

Nos quedamos en una habitación quadruple con baño privado para las 4 personas que íbamos. A la habitación y baños le hacía falta limpieza,la alfombra de la ducha estaba súper vieja y sucia. Las sábanas se transparentaban de lo viejas que estaban Hay una sensación general de dejadez en el hostel. Unwelcoming

Most stupid hostel rules ever. If you check out and you want to stay in the area you have to pay Q50. But the receptionist just reply „that’s how it works“ Check in is only possible when pay in cash or giving away your passport It’s not allowed bringing alcoholic inside „because we have a bar“ But that bar is dead all the time. It closes at 10pm and if you’re staying there, you need to talk really quietly. At 7:30 you’ll be hearing the craftsman starting with his hammer. My se...

I had a disappointing experience here. After checking out, I was charged 25 quetzales just to use a knife to make a couple of sandwiches for my bus to antigua. This felt unreasonable and unnecessary, especially since it was such a minor request. The lack of flexibility and basic courtesy left a bad impression. I would not recommend this place based on how they treat guests over small things like this. There are better options where customers are treated more fairly.

I stayed 4 nights in the 6 beds mixed dorm. The hostel provides a good kitchen & pretty areas. The stuff is super nice & you have good curtains at the bed. Sadly the WiFi isn’t really working in the room, they only have a small locker, you cannot sit straight in your bed and you have no light at your bed. Also the room was really small for 6 people (luggage wise). I booked a shuttle with them to the airport in the morning and it never arrived :/ Overall I was expecting more for the price :/

A really beautiful and nice Hostel directly on the island of Flores at the lake (the terrace is really really wonderful to sit at). But concerning the price it costs to stay here it is a bit disappointing: the toilets and showers are not cleaned every day, just very small lockers and you even have to pay extra when you want milk in your coffee for the included breakfast.

That hostel is ok for one night.

Carlos was great. I loved talking to him and he made me feel very welcome 10/10.

This was a nice stay while we were in Flores. Very cozy, right on the water, and has a good rooftop area with a big kitchen. Carlos was really inviting and let us stay after our res until our bus came.

Das Hostel ist sehr schön! Vor allem die Dachterrasse und die Küche mit dem Blick auf den See haben uns gut gefallen! Die Betten sind gemütlich und das Einzelzimmer ist zwar klein aber gemütlich. Alle Mitarbeitenden sind super nett und hilfsbereit. In der Nähe des Hostels gibt es viele Restaurants und Cafés. Für wen es wichtig ist: im Hostel werden keine gemeinsamen Aktivitäten angeboten. Es ist insgesamt eher ruhig.

We had a good stay in a private at Don Cenobio. Room was clean & comfy, only the shower was a bit broken. Staff was friendly and helpful. Flores itself is very small so its nice that you can get reccomendations on what to do and whats around. Super cute cat lives there. Would reccomend.

J'ai passé un bon séjour dans cet hostel ! Propre avec une terrasse couverte vue sur le lac et un personnel très sympathique ! Je recommande beaucoup !

Really relaxing hostel with a great kitchen and friendly 24 hour reception staff. No real atmosphere in the social area but it is a really nice space

Das Hostel ist echt top!:) Die Betten sind mega bequem mit Steckdose und Licht. Es gibt leider nur ein kleines Schließfach, wo nicht viel reinpasst und das Zimmer, sowie das Bad, ist auch ein wenig klein/eng.. Aber die Terrasse ist sooo schön und zum chillen auch echt gut☺️ Küche ist super ausgestattet und Personal mega freundlich und süßeste Hostelkatze 🐈

Très bonne auberge, les dortoirs sont accueillants, avec Clim, plusieurs salle de bain disponible dont une dans la chambre spacieuse La partie cuisine est bien équipée et la salle repas/salon est très agréable aussi avec une jolie vue sur le lac !

Nice clean hostel with comfy beds. Helpful staff. There are no lockers for your bags, and no locks on the dorm bedroom doors. Would stay again

This hostel was a nice place to stay for a few nights. The room i was in had AC, and each bed had curtains all around, along with a small privacy box that you could lock. There was a bathroom in the dorm as well as a bathroom with hot showers outside of the dorm. The only caveat was that when it rained, the short walk to the bathrooms could be a bit wet. The kitchen/terrace area was very nice for relaxing / doing work.

Very pretty and clean hostel along the water. A little loud in the evenings and early mornings due to the ferry taking people and motorbikes across the lake. Also, not very social…but we just hung out at Los Amigos Hostel in the evenings which was a short walk away.

Lovely hostel, helpful staff and lovely view on the water. There is also a fluffy cat who lives here and is beautiful. Dorms were clean and showers were available when needed.

Loved my stay at Don Cenobio, the staff were very caring and helpful in answering all my questions about Flores. The hostel also has an amazing rooftop!
