Had my purse stolen from the main area and all my money stolen, this was left in the main area in the evening so I suspect the people that work there or the volunteers so not good vibes

Hice tres reservas separadas en Hostelworld para poder cancelar la última noche si el lugar no correspondía a lo que buscaba: tranquilidad. Al llegar, me hicieron pagar las tres noches, quitándome esa opción. Me aseguraron que sería tranquilo, pero hubo fiesta la primera noche y ruido constante la segunda. Además, alguien entró en mi habitación y revisó mis cosas. Me fui antes por seguridad y pedí reembolso. Nadie responde, muy poco profesional.

Wouldn’t recommend staying in the tipi tent. When it rains the water gets inside and you can smell it… there is also no musquito net. The proterty can also use some maintenance.

2/3 of our days the neighbour played loud music from 5:45-7:30AM through a PA speaker due to a vendetta against Casa Loma. Previous comments on hostelworld indicated the issue had been resolved. The owner, Stefan agreed to refund 1-night. Since, he has been incredibly difficult to communicate with. After much back and forth he sent us back a fraction of what we paid and was then unresponsive. Although a good hostel, this lack of professionalism and accountability has left us with a bad taste.

I would advise not to stay at this hostel. Our stay was unfortunately ruined by a disruptive neighbour to the hostel which plays the same song on repeat very loud from 5-11pm every night, and also played it one morning between 6-6:30am. The view is fantastic but the hill to get to the hostel is also difficult to do which means getting in and out of town very tough. The staff members were lovely but sadly the trip was ruined because of the noise issue and navigation to the hostel.

I need a refund because that reservation was never completed and I had to make another one at Rio Hostel and they charged me for two reservations... unbelievable, such bad service. Walls made out of paper. Staff starts speaking really loud at 6:00, which means you’ll wake up as it sounds like they’re standing in your room. WIFI didn’t work for 5 straight days, with no intention or will to fix it. Both in the general area as in the designated wifi room. Staff has a general disinterests in the place and customers. Mosquito nets with holes in them. Not worth the hype it gets. The view is the only good thing, but that’s something that’s already there despite them.

If you want to sleep and not be sick : don't go there !

Would not stay here. Showers and toilets are covered in bugs and ants, moquito nets had holes and was bitten alive overnight. Left early cos the bites were so bad. Dirty filthy place and the walk up is not worth it to stay there. Just stay somewhere else and go there for sunset one night.

Mooi uitzicht, maar daar is alles mee gezegd. Er was een technofeest dat tot 10 uur zou duren. Wij sliepen boven het restaurant waar het verschrikkelijk luid is. Je zit letterlijk aan tafel bij de mensen. Het feest duurde tot 12:30 ipv 10 uur… slaapkamer en badkamer waren vies en kamer was warm. Heb hier mega slecht geslapen. Toen we eerder wilde uitchecken kregen we geen geld terug, terwijl het hostel helemaal volgeboekt zat. Dat de bedden opnieuw geboekt zouden worden was dus zeer aannemelij...

Nice staff and guests! The bathroom / shower was clean enough. The food was really good, but pricier than the food in town. The walk up to the hostel was terrible. It’s an okay place for a night if you’re a traveler on a tight budget. The rooms are not great. The “private room” was a little spooky and super dirty. The mosquito nets had holes and there were bugs and bug guts all over the bed.. for the price, I at least expect clean sheets. The power was shut off during the late evenin...

Hostel Is Up the hill business there IS expensive, they wanna charge like Massaya prices, but toilets are not clean, voluunters seems to do the dirty job. I can tell workers are effortless and do Minimum , they just wanna hook up with the hot chicks, if u wanna charge high prices give that quality, otherwise we keep buying our food outside.. make Big changes with your staff they look very chill, Great stunning sunsets

Buen hostal, muy bonito y con buen ambiente, el atardecer desde el allí es espectacular. Pero no hay cocina y tampoco espacio de coworking. También algunos de los voluntarios no hablan español…

Facilities dated. Views and sunset are fantastic. Cleanliness can be improved for toilets and showers. Bit basic for the price you pay for a private compared to options in town.

das Casa Loma ist ein schönes Hostel, der Weg hoch ist knackig aber nicht weiter schlimm. gutes und leckeres vegetarisches Essen, leider war das WLAN defekt.

Super schönes Hostel auf dem Gipfel mit traumhaftem Sonnenuntergang. 8000 für ein schlechten Café ist allerdings Wucher und auch sonst recht teuer für das was es ist. Würde trotzdem wieder kommen :)

super auberge perchée en haut d’une colline, la vue sur les montagnes est absolument magique ! l’ambiance est extra, très chill et on mange super bien! en revanche la propreté n’était pas extra surtout dans les sanitaires, mais à part ça tout était bien

Beautiful atmosphere and location, it’s a steep walk up though! Met lovely people and there’s always something going on 💗

Mega schön besonders für die Sonnenuntergänge sehr zu empfehlen. Super Stimmung und super nette Mitarbeiter.

Special hostel, nice view

Top hostel, super gezellig en prachtig sunset deck waar iedereen elke middag en avond bij elkaar komt. Sowieso het meest sociale hostel van Minca. Enige minpunten is dat het een flinke klim is om te komen, maar het is het waard. Ook hoor je vanaf de dorms veel geluid van mensen die aan het praten zijn.

If you want a chill place where you can go to bed early, this is not the place for you. However, if you like to hang out with new people till midnight, I recommend it. They have a selection of games that you can play with people

Beautiful views from the hostel over Santa Marta and the mountains. The dorm was basic but comfortable. The food in the restaurant was amazing. Social place but not a party place. Only downside was that the plugs in the dorm didn’t work so you had to charge your stuff in the common area.
