Don’t accept dinner with him and his family. Didn’t mention that he would charge me until the next day. Charged me for everything in that stay. Even water that he offered. Breakfast as well. Might as well just stay at a hotel. The whole area tries to get as much money from you. Besides that the scenery is nice but the people are walking fake smiles that are only out for your money
Calm, nice homestay in a great location. It’s a bit of a walk to get to and from the homestay but the views are great! The vibe is chill, and there’s a family-style dinner every night. I do think it was a bit too calm socially, most travelers were a bit by themselves, but that could have been just my experience!
No atmosphere when I was there. Beds in the “dorm” are literally mattresses on the floor. Was hard to get a grab here from the city.
Very nice atmosphere! It is quite far outside of the town but that is a good thing in my opinion. Lots of cute Restaurants and cafes near. It can be a bit noisy if people hangout outside in the evening- but not too bad.
We loved our stay here! Lovely social hostel with great food and views! We did a trek with all the guests which was lovely and it was a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery.
Clean place, friendly staff but the place is far from city center and super dark at night, quite creepy. So the money you save booking here is lost on the grab to bring you to the stay, not the best deal. Overall a good stay.
such a cute wholesome vibe! family dinner is a great way to socialise. We helped make it too. The staff were lovely, they even ate dinner with us! straight away, it felt like we were one big family. Only thing id warn about is its a 30 min drive from sapa town. Also the dorm beds are on the floor and fairly close to each other, but that created no issue for me. I would definitely recommend!
Outstanding, would definitely recommend. Amazing staff and views, right next to the river. As it's in Ta Van, it does require a taxi, bike, or a daytime trek from Sapa town (which I was very aware of, and chose it due to distance out of main town). Family dinner was really cute, and tastes great. The hosts are super helpful and assist with guides, transport, recommendations etc. Private rooms or dorms available, although unable to lock/store items if in a dorm, not that you need to.
Lovely place to retreat to, highly recommend the 6 hour trek if you can!
Overall quite good. The home stay has a great atmosphere and is clean. It’s unfortunately out of the way, though. The mosquito nets were also too small and proved bothersome while trying to sleep. While there’s not much the hostel could do about this, there were women who hung out around the hostel trying to sell souvenirs to you in an aggressive manner.

I love to stay here. The family are so sweet og the beds very good. We only stayed their two nights and it rained most of the time, but we joined family diner where we help make the spring rolls. The day after went well on a hike and that was amazing. I would stay their again anytime.
It's such a lovely hostel. I booked a private room with an en-suite bathroom. The room was very clean, beautifully decorated, and I even had hot water. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I felt very well taken care of. They also offer a variety of activities. I participated in the cooking class/family dinner and the 6-hour trek. I highly recommend both. The trek, in particular, was fantastic; the guide was great, explained a lot to us, and we even got rubber boots from the hostel beca...
Pretty chill hostel, lovley food and the people living there we so so helpful and friendly. i didn't do one but they have trekking tours available but its a great homestay if you want to chill
We really enjoyed our stay at Dzay House. The owner was very friendly and helpful and our room was cozy. The location is peaceful and there are still a few cafes nearby. I would also recommend doing the trek offered here. It was a great experience!
I loved this homestay and recommend. The family was super nice and accomodating. It was a perfect social/family vibe at night but depends who stays there. There is a nice river that you can swim or relax at. Critique: it was down a steep hill The dorm was 6 beds on the floor but it was super comfy and I had good dorm mates. The food was amazing and I appreciated the owner taking me on a 4 hour trek by myself. He speaks good English and is super kind. A great cozy “camping” vibe for anyon...
Stayed 4 nights at this homestay and couldn't have been happier with my choice. It's away from all the hustle and bustle of Sapa town itself, so if you want a quieter stay, this is definitely a good choice. Obviously that means getting into town takes a bit (about 25min with Grab) but that's the trade-off. The hosts are amazing and very helpful and the place itself is clean and looks great. I do recommend!
We had a really nice stay here. They were very helpful and offered multiple activities. They also helped us book a taxi from their house to Sapa Center. Very good service.
I had an amazing stay. the staff is so friendly and helpful. views are amazing. I did a hike and family dinner and I was amazed. I definitely recommend! thank you all!
Very nice cozy home. Enjoyed the river a lot and the treck
The property was beautiful - it is a wooden cabin with several private rooms and 7 mattresses which are on the first floor of the cabin, which act as a "dorm room". The mattresses were comfortable, and they provided us with the mosquito protection mesh, which was definitely needed as well. The washroom had hot water 24/7, and it was clean as well. The daily cooking activity was my favourite part, although they make you only chop veggies for the spring roll, and then teach you how to roll a sprin...
views are really nice, host is very friendly and welcoming, and facilities are very comfortable!

Loved staying here, hosts were super accomodating and helpful, breakfast and dinner were great
We really enjoyed our stay here. We loved the peace and the owners were really nice🥰
Really cute place and good value! Love the location right by some cute cafes and the view from the back was lovely. People who worked there were super friendly and helpful. Stayed in a group and had a lovely time, however may not be as social for a solo traveller.
This is a GORGEOUS homestay! Obviously it’s a homestay not a hostel so don’t expect that’s but it’s so cute, the people running it are lovely and it feels so local. The facilities were perfect, and the relaxed social atmosphere is lovely, because there’s only ever a small group of people staying there at once. HIGHLY recommend this place. It is a way away front town, not an issue, but I wouldn’t plan to travel to and from town each day while here.
No atmosphere when I was there. Beds in the “dorm” are literally mattresses on the floor. Was hard to get a grab here from the city.
We would really recommend staying here! The host was very friendly we did the family meal and the trek and enjoyed the whole experience. We stayed in the private room and the beds were very comfortable. It is about 30-40mins outside sapa by grab but there were lovely local cafes in the village.
Had a great stay here, very peaceful and friendly.
