City's Hostel Ponta Delgada

Quarto confortável mas que é muito sobre valorizado no seu preço. 120 euros por um quarto por uma noite é preço de hotel ou de aluguer de apartamento na mesma cidade. Correia do estor danificada, na varanda saída de ar condicionado fazia um barulhão. Pequeno almoço pobre: só pão tipo panrico, geleia, manteiga de amendoim num pote melado, dois ou três iogurtes na mesa. Tinha também café mas estava pobre mesmo, nem uma frutinha da época.

When we arrived at the hostel, there were no covers for the blankets, and the door trap in our room was nearly falling off. I reported both issues via email to the hostel but did not receive any response. Falta limpieza en zonas comunes. No habia microondas. Desayuno pobre

No staff to greet us upon check in or at departure. Facilities were dirty. Advertised A/C and the A/C wasn’t working, we had no air and no fan, miserable hot night. Breakfast poor. Would not stay again and would not recommend.

The bathrooms were super dirty and full of bugs. The beds were half-broken. The hostel atmosphere was bad.

If it wasn't for an amazing friend that I met there, I'd despise this place. Mold everywhere in the shower, no exhaust fan in the bathroom, terrible airflow. No locker for my valuables as they were "in the process of changing the locks". I was there over the course of 6 days on & off, no locks were changed. Place smelled like mold. Terrible ventilation. Only thing nice about this place was the coffee machine they had in the kitchen. Unless you are hurting for money, skip this place at all costs.

the property is in a good location. the guests are to themselves. not much interaction. the property lists air conditioning as a feature however it doesn’t work. i mentioned it to the front desk she came up said it takes a bit to work. after hours there was still no air. seems to be an ongoing issue based on other reviews. i was told someone would come until Monday. I lost my money on the room and stayed elsewhere after two days of sleeping in the heat.

I would not suggest this hostel. I checked in late (11:30) and they gave me the key code ahead of time since they wouldn’t be there. I stayed for 3 nights and I literally only saw someone at the reception once. People were out for breakfast then never really saw anyone the whole rest of the day / night - not social at all. Towels and sheets smelled like mildew and the whole place just felt damp esp bc the AC barely worked. The beds didn’t have a fitted sheet so the bottom sheet kept moving a...

First off Ill start with the good: kitchen was good, as well as location, shower worked. Now the not so good: the atmosphere was non existent, don't come here to make friends cause u will be disappointed!!!! second i crawled into bed and realized there was a blood stain on my sheets and when i told the staff they didn't offer any new sheets or any sort of refund, The towels and bedding smelt awful too. Wont be back

+ : absolut nette, hilfsbereite, und informative Dame an der Rezeption, viel Platz im Gemeinschaftsbereich, extra Toilette im Flur - : viel zu kleinen Raum!! Die Decke ist so niedrig, dass man sich kaum im Bett aufsetzen kann. Die Betten quietschen, keine Vorhänge die Geräusche dämpfen und Privatsphäre schaffen, daher kann es extrem laut und unangenehm werden in der Nacht. I stayed in this hostel for one night because the place I'm staying in was booked, the rooms and bathrooms are super clean and bedsheets also. they have female only bedrooms which is a really good thing, i was able to take my shower and everything comfortably. i recommend 100% for solo female traversers

Okay, it is no very central but in the end the town is extremely small. One of the cheapeat options available, and still vwry clean and everythibg. Very easy to find parking. One thing I struggled with is the terrible ventilation of the rooms, it can feel suffocating in the night, also because there are many beds.

Dead batteries for TV. Dirty towels left behind the bathroom door from previous guests. Nice kitchen and spacious.

Emplacement parfait pour se promener à pied en ville. Chambre propre, matelas confortable, mais il n’y a pas vraiment d’air climatisé. C’est plutôt un fan sur le mur qui ne refroidi aucunement la chambre! Il a fait très chaud et humide tout le temps ou nous y étions. Le déjeuner était correct mais pas extraordinaire!

Très propre, confortable et pratique...je me suis trompé ds ma réservation et il y a eu des solutions immédiates... impeccable sous tous les angles... très propre et confortable

nice hostel, very clean with a great free breakfast. we loved the area, close to downtown area with lots of free parking. only downside is that beds lacked curtains and lockers were out of service but no other complaints, i would stay again!

Super clean rooms and showers, verg comfortable beds and nice modern kitchen! Also street parking was always available, 10/10 experience

good place - not really social vibes but that could have been the batch i was with. the biggest hang up is bag security. the locks for the lockers are crappy at best and, at least in my room, one key worked for multiple lockers.

Haven't seen a staff in two nights. The rooms are cramped, you can barely walk around or have room for tour stuff. There is no air in the room, and can't sleep with windows open because the room is on the street. Bathroom is okay. Shower was clogged

Tem todos os electrodomésticos, podemos cozinhar, Staff muito bom e simpáticas. Falta lavandaria. Mas recomendo como muiito bom.

Je suis resté quelques nuits dans cette hostal sympathique. L’ambiance est bonne, la cuisine est grande et parfaite pour rencontrer les autres voyageurs. Assez bien situé, proche du centre et des plantations de bananes, c’est une valeur sure!

Best hostel I’ve stayed at! Especially considering the price!

sono stata due volte in questo ostello! si può fare il self check in quindi è molto comodo se arrivi tardi o anche se devi andare via molto presto la mattina! le camere e i servizi erano molto puliti e tutto molto ordinato! ottima esperienza
